"This beautiful GEM of a nation, this Constitutional Republic is in her current state of being PUBLICLY, REPEATEDLY GANG-RAPED, BEATEN, DEFECATED UPON by bastardized cur-dog Enemy DOMESTICS in part because...

...for over 80 years (far longer for Presbyterians-n-such) 'church' folk (vast, ghastly, and GLORIOUS difference between those "faithful to the CHURCH" and those surrendered to the KING) have had 'itching ears' for warm, smooth slop rather than rich, cold, hard TRUTH.

"Tolerance" has been preached and taught as THE PRIME 'virtue' of a 'christian' (again, religious definitions of godly Truths ain't worth a tinker's dam). Folks have slurped that message up like the only cat in the dairy barn, and have traded their "whole armor of God" for the 'bitch' dress of prisons... PANTS ON THE GROUND.

Why is that such a bad thing?

The 'tolerance' they hold dear is the whoring sister of GUTLESSNESS, not the velvet titanium of godly FORBEARANCE. Our Father would have us trust HIM more than ourselves. Our King would have us obey His statutes over obeying our primal rages. Our Master and Sacrificer for our FREEDOM would have us freely, of our own loving, trusting will follow Him rather than our panting passions.

But when He says something must NOT BE TOLERATED... by GOD, His sons and daughters DON'T TOLERATE IT. Their own comfort, 'peace' and safety is freely offered up on the alter of loving OBEDIENCE!

Thomas Mann was right about one thing - "Tolerance becomes a crime when applied to evil".

First Post of 2012

Well, folks, Barry seems to be up and running fairly quickly this year. So far, he's pushing for over 1 trillion in new debt, done an end run around the checks and balances of the congress, and proposed a plan to, as one news article put it, "eviscerate the military". I really don't understand this nation. Seriously. How is it that there isn't a million screaming, ARMED, and highly motivated patriots storming D.C. to demand his surrender. He has taken a big healthy bowel movement on every institution that made this nation the success it is, not to mention evey constitutional limit the constitution has placed on his office.

His arrogance and narcissistic entitlement mentality are truly without limits. For the last 3 years I have railed against what I saw coming. For the last year, I have warned that there was no way that this next election cycle was going to be allowed to happen and if you look at the attacks his racist pit bull Eric Holder is waging on the states that are trying to control election fraud, it becomes painfully obvious that i was right. I would hope that the Republicans would band together to fight him, that they would petition the supreme court to stop him from his actions and bring the full weight of whatever remains of our constitution to bear and bring his usurpations to a halt.

But for that to happen, you would have to assume that the Republicans have the best interest of the nation in mind. And to be honest, I really don't have that kind of faith in almost ANYONE in D.C. Marco Rubio is the one notable exception. I once had hopes for Alan West, but he's shown his lack of forethought and perspective where our nation's future is concerned. No, I no longer believe that there is going to be a political fix to this situation. A situation that we have allowed to be by our own apathy.

We may not ever see the "shining city on the hill" again. And if we don't, all we can do is curse the men and women in the mirror, because every evil that this man and his cohorts commits in the name of America is only possible because we've let those who have evil designs to remain in power for so many years. We have allowed ourselves to be beaten because we have not had the foresight to see what they were about.

2011 Recap

Well friends, here we are just a couple hours (depending where you are) from calling 2011 a done deal. I've been through a lot of changes this year. In fact, they kept coming right up to the last few days, finishing off with a new career. I'd like to take a few and tell all of my friends that read this that I am so very thankful for your friendship and support through this last year. Like the nation I love so much, I've seen grief and laughter, fear and blessings, moments of weakness and strength. I've made new friends and discovered old friends were dying. But in all of the things that I've been through and been part of, I know that the good Lord has had my back. I've seen too many things that convince me of his active participation in my life.

As for our nation and the things it's going through, I've seen a lot of things that have disappointed me this last year. Many of those that were elected last year and that were seen as our warriors for conservative principles have become However, I've seen other things that lead me to believe that there is a very strong and growing section of America that are becoming increasingly intolerant of the "progressive" agenda and are fighting back. Record gun and ammunition sales are both very heartening and at the same time, quite disturbing. The Tea Party has become a national force in political circles and no longer do those in opposition take them lightly. Indeed, they have tried, with little true success, to foster their own "occupy" movement and in doing so have shown themselves to be violent and anarchic and so most of America is at the least distrusting and at the most, disgusted by the movement.

We are now in a battle, political though it may be, for a new administration to help lead our nation back to the path it was set up to take. Understand me, if you have read this blog for any time at all, you know that even as I fight for those things I believe in as principle bedrocks of my nature, I also believe that things are playing out as they must for biblical prophecy to come to the end that has been foretold. It doesn't change what I see as my duty, but it does make it easier to take defeat when it happens as it did with the crushing debt arguments that this nation has been in this past year. We conservatives were hoodwinked by those we trusted and fed a line that is nothing less than a continuation of the destructive policies that the current administration started 3 years ago.

This next year will bear out whether my belief, the belief that our fate as a free, unified, and strong republic has been compromised beyond redemption, will prove true or that the "shining city on the hill" as Reagan referred to us, still has bright days in store.

I personally believe that until we recapture our heritage as a christian nation, protecting the life of the unborn and making decisions based on what's right and wrong versus what is politically feasable, we will never again recieve the blessings of the Lord as a nation. Without that, we will not survive as the force of good that we had been in our nation's youth.

Whatever happens, God bless those that call me friend or kin. God look with mercy on this nation, and I pray that this next year holds blessings never before seen for all of you. Happy New Year.

Heating Up The Christmas Season

Merry Christmas my friends and family. This is a season full of bittersweet memories and joy for our saviors birth. The memories that I find so bittersweet are due to the many loved ones that have gone on to be with our Lord, and the remembrances of the happy days long past. The Joy of our savior's birth needs no explanation to those of you that share in my faith. There is only one holiday I enjoy more than Christmas and that's Thanksgiving. NO, not for the food, but for the fact that I take time to sit down and list out all the blessings that God, in his generosity, has provided.

But this season is not without its pitfalls. Right now, around the country and across the globe, there are evil forces at work trying to restrict our ability to worship our Lord in public venues or in our home towns. 80% of America believes in Christ Jesus and yet we are required by bullies and malcontents to hide our faith instead of shining it out like beacons in the night. For the last couple of weeks I have been monitoring a fight in east Texas, where a small town is being bullied by an out of state atheist organization, with the purpose of making this town tear down a nativity. This weekend, over 5000 people gathered in a rally in praise of our Lord and support of the town's nativity scene. God bless them.
In Europe, the Muslims push the European nations further and further from their christian heritage so as to not foment discord amongst Islamists. Time and again the European powers show their lack of spine in the face of the encroachment of Islam. Christians are being murdered and persecuted in countries all across the middle and far east in numbers that haven't been seen or rather reported in decades.

All across the world there are wars, and rumors of wars. Kim Jong Il was recently reported to have changed his name to Kim Jong Dead, and no one seems to know what that means for the small insanity driven nuclear power called North Korea.

Throw into the middle of all of this, our own bit of insanity called the presidential election cycle and the fact that for all intents and purposes, we have been eating our own in personal attempts at power grabbing and fear mongering. I don't care which side of the isle you look at, both parties have decided that scorched earth is the only way to get power. No candidate is going to be perfect, however I will point out that there are some perfectly awful positions that we may find ourselves in.

The first and foremost of these positions would be to allow Barry Obama to stay in office another 4 years. Frankly, anyone other than Ron Paul would do just fine as president, with a few provisos of course. The first and foremost of these would be that we gain a conservative majority in both houses of congress. Notice I didn't use the words "Republican majority" but rather "Conservative Majority". That is key. With enough Conservatives brought into power, the evils that any president is capable of can be muted or supressed entirely. All bills must start in the house or senate. And vetos can be over ridden if the will is there.

So many are putting so much energy into which one of the candidates will be our "savior". Look where that line of thinking got us with Barry. He was supposed to be the "savior" of the left. And I suppose from a socialist point of view, he's doing very well. But we cannot afford that. We must take the Congress back, and use it's legislative power to do what the President cannot, removed all of the dangerous and malignant laws that the dems and the Obama administration have put in place.

If you are looking for a savior, I suggest reading the red letters in a good Bible. The rest will take care of itself. A little food for thought, though; We may not have always gotten the leader that we wanted, but I'm pretty sure we've always gotten the leaders that we deserved. Let's make sure that we deserve better in the future.

Rant or Cute Kittens....Decision Of The Day.

Ok, so first things first... Ever since I moved out of the wild and wooly west parts of Oklahoma for the more social and accessible north eastern parts of my beloved state, I have been living the life of a semi-homeless person. By which I mean that I have not had cable or internet for almost 2 full months! Gasp!!! Terrible as that fate seems to most, I survived it and am now back into the high life with a fully functional cable TV and modem. So, of course the first thing I wanted to do was to get on here and share the good news with you, my friends.

As that would basically end this post with that one paragraph, I decided to go out into the internet and start dredging drudge and other news outlets and gleen all the good news I could find into an uplifting message for this Christmas holiday season. Guess what, couldn't find ANY! None. Nada. Kaput. We're two weeks from Christmas and the only news articles I can find are negative and going south from there. Jews and Christians are indefinately banned from the temple mount, sales are down in the U.S., the government is getting set to pass a bill that would allow military forces to not only operate on U.S. soil but to apprehend and detain, indefinately, any citizen SUSPECTED of terrorist ties or activities. Even the poster boy for the tea party in Florida, one Allen West, is beating the drums in support of this travesty. How much freedom are we gonna give up in the name of security? Our founders thought about this, and came to the conclusion that if you're willing to give up freedom for security, you're gonna end up losing both. My personal point of view is that if the government will just get the hell out of the people's way, we could handle any problems that arise from insurgent or other home grown jihadists.

All that is the reason that I decided, among other things that I was gonna either have to get on here and set fire to the internet with a rant that would be certain to have the black suburbans pulling up in the driveway, or I was going to have to do something to calm down and bring a bit of cuteness to this otherwise horrendous news day. So, I'm gonna have to pass on the rant as I want to bring it, and instead give you a terminal dose of cute... Enjoy!

Herman Cain Destruction.... Complete

Well, I believe that I called this one right. A couple of posts back, I said that the left would destroy Herman Cain not just oppose him. They couldn't afford to have a man like him put the lie to Barry and his plans. So, they've brought out every piece of trailer trash they could find and some that just flat doesn't seem to exist to pound on him. Now this latest "friend" of his comes forward and claims a decade plus long affair. Did it happen? Likely. Does that immediately disqualify him for President? Well, if it does then Newt is toast too. Personally, I find myself of two minds on the thought. On one hand, we need a man of strong moral character so we can have a hero, if you will, to look to and say, "See?!? A good man does exist that can lead us." And I am repulsed by the idea of cheating on your wife for any reason. On the other hand, I'm not inclined to think that a long time relationship outside of marriage is a reason to throw a man overboard. He is still the man who was a positive leader in several companies and has come up with good ideas for saving this nation. Would an affair keep a general from prosecuting a war, by default? I mean just because he had one... I don't think so.

But in all reality, that is a moot point. He's toast. Now Newt seems to be pulling into the default lead and the laundry list of reasons that I don't like him are so damned long that it would give me a cramp to write it out. But for brevity's sake, it can be summed up by a video of him on a couch with the wicked witch of the west, Pelosi. 'Nuff said.

First Week And A Few Thoughts

Well, It's been a hell of a first week. If you remember, I quit driving a truck over the road in favor of being closer to my family. I have been closer, that is for sure. I think my daughter in particular is wondering how to get me BACK into the truck. I really do think they forgot what my sense of humor can be like. However, on a more serious note, last monday morning I recieved a phone call from my wife telling me that her boss was going to be taking her to the ER and that I needed to walk down and get the Ford Expedition from her work. Apparently, she decided that pinching off the last half inch of her right ring finger would be an excellent way to end her shift.

So, having such an inauspicous start to my day, I walked the 1.4 miles down to where my wife worked and got her vehicle and drove to the hospital. Sure enough, she was just getting done with her visit, and I'd like to take a moment to say that we were both impressed with service she recieved and the courtesy I recieved from Bailey Medical Center in Owasso, Oklahoma. Those were some very nice and competent people. They got the bleeding stopped and bandaged her wound. The next day we took her to the workers comp doctors that handle all of Wal-Mart's cases and they pretty much did the same thing; change the dressing and take x-rays. Turns out she barely missed taking the end of the bone off. But it was exposed, though it was difficult to see at that time. Now for the fun part.

The good people at the clinic set us up with a pediatric surgeon in Tulsa for yesterday morning and as soon as this man looked at my wife's finger he started plans for surgery to be done that day. He said that the end of the bone was turning necrotic and the surgery couldn't wait any longer or she'd risk infection in the bone. If that happened she'd lose the end of the finger down to the first joint. This is where I and my need for information came in and I completely stunned the Doc. I asked him if he planned to do a "V Y Plasty" procedure. The look on his face was hillarious. "That's exactly what it's called. How did you know that?" Looking at his nurse he said, "He knew that, how many people EVER know that?!?" To me: "How did you know that?" It was great. Anyways, back to the wife...

We were in the hospital from about 12:30pm to just about 6:45pm. The surgery went fine and all was well and good until this morning. My wife and I overslept and her pain meds wore off completely. Yeah, not so good an idea. But we got her dosed back up and she's been sleeping comfortably. So that's the details of my first week out of the truck. Now for some landscape.

I have noticed in my life, that the good Lord knows exactly where I need to be and makes sure I'm there. For instance, this weeks adventure in spousal self-mutilation. If I had not decided to make the change in my job that I did, I'd not have been here to take care of my wife and kids. I have no idea how she's have coped. I'm truly thankful that I won't have to find out. My place is with her and apparently the Lord agreed. Not one job that I put in apps with this week has returned a call. I'm willing to bet all the lint in my pockets that Monday I get inundated with calls. Will things be tight for a while? Absolutely. Will we get through? Absolutely.

Now for the other detritus that the media chooses to call news. Over the last week, I've been reading about the Politico's attacks on Herman Cain. Welcome to the party Mr. Cain. You are officially a threat to the left. I have also been thrilled to hear the more they attack, the higher his campaign donations get and his polls have caught a bump as well. Apparently the old yarn about any press being good press seems apropos to Mr. Cain.

Look, I know he's not a saint. Good grief, we're never gonna have a perfect candidate. If we're waiting on the second coming of George Washington, we're gonna have a long wait ahead of us. What I do know is that he's Christian, Conservative, and he's successful at those things that he has decided to accomplish. When he speaks it invokes in me the same feelings I get when I go back and listen to Ronald Reagan's speeches. He's upbeat, positive, and unashamably patriotic. He is not polished like the candidate that's being pushed down our throats, Mitt Romney. He makes mistakes in his statements but he's willing to revisit each statement and give a definative answer. He doesn't prevaricate or try to give some Washington double-speak to give non-answers. I like that.

Another thing that I like about Herman Cain is his past. He grew up in the segregated south from a poor family. He's self-made in every sense. Despite all of the handicaps that a young, very black man would have, he made of himself a man that other men would follow. He's a pastor in his church and successful business man. He is, in point of fact, the type of man I would be honored to know and emulate. He's the type of man that I would point out to my kids and say, "Be like him! He get's it." But none of his accomplishments mean anything to the Left. They are trying to destroy him. Not just politically, but they'll go after him and his family in a personal way. Mark me on this, they can't afford to let a man like Herman Cain put the lie to their savior Barack Hussein Obama.

So yeah, I'll vote for Herman Cain and I'll be praying that he is the one that runs against Barry in the upcoming elections. If he loses, I really don't see how we're going to get the changes made that are needed to bring this republic back to its roots. But then, I have always known that things are going to go badly in the end. Which is a good segway into my final topic.

I haven't really had the energy to go into my perspectives and feelings about the "occupy" movement. I would like to be able to report that Oklahomans were too bright for that kind of thing, but unfortunately, we've got our own protesters here in Tulsa. Probably Oklahoma City too, but I haven't heard any news from that side of the state since this crap started. Let me be absolutely clear who I believe these people are. The are the human equivalent to potato peels and watermelon rinds. The are the leftover crap that is only fit for the pigs to eat. Human detritus better cleared out and disgarded on a foreign shore than allowed to rot where it is and stink up the rest of the place. These ne'er-do-wells are spoiled, ignorant, and self-serving. They have no concept of honor, integrity, character, or discipline. In short, they are totally undeserving of the status of "American citizen". Personally, I'd not be too upset were we to round them up and drop them in some European city without permission for them to come home.

The entire movement has been sourced back to Soros and the Whitehouse. Those that are promoting it are traitors and Quislings. And I personally believe, that the blood that is going to flow in this country will be traced right back to this bowel movement called "Occupy Wall Street".

Further Changes In The Life of Of The Oklahoma Patriot

Well, it's been one Hell of a year. First I'd like to touch on the positive before I get into the emotional topics. First and foremost, I have moved my family from the voluntary exile from all civilization that we were living in out in the back end of Oklahoma's armpit known as Woods County. We have moved back over towards the northeastern part of the state, more specifically, north of Tulsa where good dining can still be had. Thank GOD for Kilkenny's Irish Pub. They have a blackened ribeye that is probably the closest thing to a manifestation of heaven that I will ever experience. The wife and the kids are adjusting well to the changes in job and schools, respectively, and I am finishing out my last 2 weeks as an over the road driver. So, my posts will be getting more and more frequent as I again ramp up for another presidential election cycle. Well enough of the feel good news. On with my real reason for firing this page up.

Late last week, I was notified through Facebook that a classmate of mine was dying. First off, you have to understand some background if you want to know why this is hitting me so hard. We had 9 kids in my graduating class. That's right, 9. As in, NINE. Even at the height of our class attendance, I think 15 was as high as it went. Out of the 15 that were in my class, we have lost 2 and are in the process of losing a third to cancer. I'm not sure what the odds of losing 20% of your class to cancer as opposed to other forms of death, or that all of these deaths occured before the age of 45, but I have got to think that it can't be normal. So that's the landscape, now for the details of this classmate that I am losing.

Yes, I put it as a personal loss. You see, once apon a time, The Oklahoma Patriot was a troubled youngster that was not at all treated well by those around him. (gasp! And blowing holes in my classmates never occured to me. Oh, yeah, I don't think we had 24 hr cable news yet.) Any way after a particularly bad incident between me and another student who WAS on the "in crowd" I landed myself in the principles office. The short version was, that I told him that I didn't want to be bothered, that I wanted to just be left alone. I was tired of the harrassment and ridicule for being different. It was a very troubling moment in my life. I felt utterly alone and utterly hopeless for things to ever improve.

That's when I heard two people behind me in the doorway. A boy named Cole and a girl named Tina. Both of them said that they would not ignore my presence or just leave me alone to myself because they liked and cared for me. They showed a 14 year old boy, who thought he had no one to count on, friendship and loyalty. And to the day we left school, they were true to that. After graduation, I, Tina, and Cole all went into the military. I and Tina went into the Army, and Cole into the Marines. He's still there, by the way. God bless and keep him. Tina got out and started her life out down by Oklahoma City and had more than her share of hard times. But her spirit kept her marching forward and she overcame pain and misfortune that would have probably ruined me.

I guess the reason I give these little biographies is so that you will understand when I say I would gladly stand in there place when death comes for them. Whether by natural or unnatural means, I'd gladly take the bullet for either of them. Other than my family, there are few that I would do that for. Both of these good people have earned my loyalty and love. The 20+ years since our graduation hasn't changed that for me.

That 14 year old boy that was sitting in that office, crying with frustration and rage, fell in love with a girl for her compassion. And came to respect and admire a young man for his honor and compassion, also. Every day I know that I could get word that Cole was killed in fighting over seas. I believe that he has returned from Afghanistan now, but who knows when he'll be asked to return. I will mourn him if it happens, but he's a Marine and he knows the job well.

Tina, on the other hand, is a different story. She was diagnosed with breast cancer 3 years ago and they did a double radical mastectomy to remove all of the cancer. They thought that she was free from the cancer. Unfortunately, as I said, last week I found differently. They have said that the cancer has indeed returned and metasticized in her bones. She has not said how long they have given her, but from what she's said, it won't be long. I fell in love with her 25 years ago, and a part of me has always held that place in my heart for her. I always will because not once in those 25 years has she ever been other than my friend.

God bless and keep you Tina. God make his light shine in your darkest times. And if it be his will, may he lay a healing hand on you and take your pain.

America in Decline... Ya Think?!?

I came home tonight after being on the road and as the whole family was in bed and asleep, I decided that I would get on and check the news for the last couple of days. Here's a couple headlines from Drudge Report.

Downgraded!. So all the wrangling and lies and posturing to save us from this evil fate has fallen short. I could die from NOT surprise.

'Mob' beatings at WI state fair... Apparently Wisconsin doesn't have enough problems so a gang of blacks numbering from dozens to hundreds (depending on the report) decided to throw a beating to any white they came across leaving the fair. Nice place to never visit.

FOOD STAMPS: Record 45.8 million dependent... Apparently it comes to about 1 in 7 Americans are on the take for food stamps. I have to wonder why in Barry's summer of recovery is there a need for 1 in 7 to be on welfare?

People wonder why I have such a negative outlook on our future. Give me a break, I look every day for positive signs and find nothing. The people we send to serve the American people cave and end up rubber stamping some comprimise plan that completely undermines what it is supposed to fix. Our courts are laughing stocks and made more so by nihilistic groups that strive to unmake our heritage. We have enemies within that we can not muster the political will to oust, let alone shut down their corridors of illegal entry. Those conservative groups that rose up and stood so very strong to demonstrate against the tax, borrow, and spend policies a couple years ago, have gotten into ruts as to how they deal with politics. They refuse to take the fight to the next level. To force the government to bow to their will.

Just what is it I'm supposed to get a positive feeling for? What ray of sunshine can one show me that would lead me to believe that the American people are at all serious about our own survival?

The Angst of The Conservative Mind

I've been going through the blogs today and almost without exception, the results of the faux deficit reduction deal are extremely negative. Small wonder, most of us that watched the last Congressional election cycle with baited breaths, were told that the freshmen that we helped elect were going to be warriors for principles that were shouted from the pulpits across the fruited plain; "Taxed Enough Already", and cutting spending and size of government, not to mention reductions in the choke hold that federal regulations are having on our nations businesses.

What have we gotten instead? A big cave on the budget fight earlier in the spring and another thumb in the eye of the fiscal and social conservatives in the U.S. We were even abandoned by the man that we looked to as a stalwart in the movement, Lt. Col. Allen West. I still don't understand how he could get behind this deal when it did nothing to stop the insanity that is Washington spending. The only reason I an think that he would go along with this, and I would hate to think that he would stand for it, is that he was threatened by the Republican leadership that they would support someone else in a primary fight if he stood his ground. Since he made it clear that he has no intention of trying for another position, he might feel like he has to do what he can to protect his job.

I really don't care what his reasoning, the fact of the matter is, that we who consider ourselves warriors for this nation are looking to our representatives and senators to fight for what is morally right, regardless of the personal costs. Trust me, if we were given a spokesman in the house and senate that were willing to fall on their sword for the fights that must be fought, then we would take care of them and protect them. This luke warm attempt is contemptuous and disgusting. It will be remembered when election tallies come in. I hope that our elected representatives do better this fall, but I'm already hearing rumors that at least on the senate side, Harry Reid is trying to stack the deck as far as the super committee is concerned.

Deficit Deal or Sold Out Souls?

I woke this morning, turned on the idiot box, and was informed that the Republican and Democratic leaders had miraculously come to an 11th hour deal that would save us from default. There was much lamentation and gnashing of teeth from the Left for not getting their tax increases and the Right was spitting about the cuts to the defense budget. But behind it all was the cracking of shoulder joints as the negotiators quietly patted themselves on the back for once again bringing the great play to its finale once again.

I call it the "Great Play" because we have (or should have) come to understand that this is the way it is always done. The Speaker played out this same game last Spring with the budget agreement and it amounted to a big thumb in the eye of all of us that worked to take back the house in hopes of gaining a foothold and fighting for the survival of our republic. Well, this was Act II and as the curtain closes, all I can think of is the fact that they solved NOTHING. Obama got his debt increase with a promise of more in the future, and all of the spending decreases are way out in the future with the Military holding the purse for 50% of it.

What was the bone thrown to the rest of America? A promise on a balanced budget amendment to the constitution. A vote. The Amendment should have been part of the deal. Period. And in none of the language being used can I find anyone talking about DEBT reduction. We're still looking at just slowing the debt increases, not debt elimination. Our nation is screwed.

All of this was, ostensibly, to keep from getting a down grade from the dreaded S&P ratings agency but the truth is, this deal falls short of what they were looking at by 2 trillion dollars. So, we increased our debt again, and in the end, got nothing in return.

Benjamin Netanyahu: A True Patriot And Warrior Statesman

I'm not sure that I can ever summon the words necessary to express the awe and profound respect I have for PM Netanyahu. From my earliest recollections of his speeches he has had a very clear moral bearing and a profound love and respect for American culture and society. Pity that so many of my fellow Americans can't be as well educated on the similarities between our two nations as he is.

I watched the interview he gave to Sean Hannity and I was amazed at how far he went to keep from giving our current president more of a black eye than he already had. If we could elect someone like the honorable Prime Minister, we'd be well on the way to reclaiming our future. He is more of a patriot for OUR nation than most of the people that currently inhabit the Senate or Whitehouse.

Needless to say, I stand with Israel. If not for any other reason than they worship the same god I worship and are surrounded by those that would wipe all believers in the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob off the face of the map. We can not allow this, as our Father has admonished us in Genesis 12: 1-3 "Those Who Bless Israel Will Be Blessed, and Those Who Curse Israel Will Be Cursed."

God help us if we turn our backs on them. But then, that's just it... We'll have given over our only claim to God's blessing left to us. Our support for his children.

Blessings and Friendships From Past to Present Kept

The title is a bit on the poetic side, but I'll chalk that up to my listening to some Irish poetry. But now to the reason for this post.

Last Thursday, I was taken with the idea of calling on a man and his wife that I had not seen in over 15 years. He was my pastor and she was his wife, of course. When I met them they were new to the ministry. That was nearly 25 years ago now. To explain what these two mean, meant, and will mean to me in the future, I'll have to explain some history, both ancient and in some cases, probably best left buried. But for you my friends, I'll dig up the bones and show you how these people helped me be who I am now, for better or worse.

It couldn't have been more than a week after he moved into his office at our church, that I dropped in to see him. On his wall he had the most unusual and curious picture that I have ever seen. It was a picture of Christ Jesus, but in a manner that I had never before seen. You see, most pictures of Jesus are very solemn affairs. He's almost always somber and in prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane, or merely looking up to heaven. However, in this one instance that was not what I saw. Instead of a somber Christ, what was on his wall was a pencil drawing of Jesus in a full on belly laugh. I have never been able to see that picture now or then without wanting to stare at it. It was a completely alien image of what my Lord was supposed to be.

You see, my mother was very much a Penticostal Holiness member. She was very fond of the hellfire and brimstone sermon. Quick to judge but quick to forgive, that was my mothers view of Christ. My father, on the other hand, was a lay leader in our Methodist Church. The methodist view, as I saw it at the time, was of an all loving, all concerned source of Grace, but never the less, solemn Lord Jesus. I'm not sure I even knew who he was to me, at the tender age of 15.

So, here's this picture that utterly arrests my forward movement into the room and this very blonde, very high energy man turns to me and gives me a huge smile and welcomes me in to talk. I don't now remember what he said to me, but it was the beginning of a great friendship and mentorship. Ray was probably the most approachable person I'd ever met. He and his wife both accepted me and my friends into their home as if we were nearly family. He was at the time, and still is I'm learning, a very physical individual. He would work out with me and we even went on a 4 day prayer and bible hike down in the southeast corner of Oklahoma. In the time that he was my pastor there in Carmen, Oklahoma I came to understand that that picture of the laughing Christ was how Ray saw the Lord, and tried (successfully I might add) to emulate.

Ray introduced me to a side of Christ that I'd never thought to consider. And he lived it as an example to a very confused and disfunctional kid. It is largely due to his influence that I was able to learn of my own value. For that, least of all the things he did for me, I would like to thank him. But more lasting and more important by far was that he taught me that Christ Jesus was someone with whom I had to have a personal and intimate relationship with. That I should talk with him daily and really look for his answers.

I've tried to live up to the examples that they set for me. Thank you Ray and Kathy. Your friendships mean more to me than you will ever possibly know.

Signs Of The Times

Well friends and neighbors, this is, for me at least a very frightening time to be alive. Look at all that's happening in such a small amount of time: The middle east is being remade in many ways. Our nation is fighting for its survival. And Japan is trying to self destruct. Add into the mix the EU's monetary worries, many of which have taken a back burner due to the other crises. The fact is, things are setting up for a global melt down of the type not seen since WWII.

The scary part is, how many of those in power are willing to put everything to risk for political gain and power. I heard, last week, several Democrat Congressmen throwing around vitriol and bile like confetti at a ticker tape parade. What good does it do the nation to throw mud that you know has no place hitting those that are making an honest effort to restore our future? None. But that isn't stopping them from claiming the the Republicans are out to kill women, children, and senior citizens, anyways.

So, the Republicans got their arses handed to them on the budget crisis last week. Come to find out the multi-billion dollar deal actually panned out into a couple hundred million. Ooops. Gee, I guess that didn't work out the way they wanted. Paul Ryan has come up with a budget plan that would, over the next 10+ years, decrease the debt and finally eliminate it.

Like Rand Paul, I believe it'll be too little too late, but it's a start. The problem comes in because there's not a snowball's chance in Hell that they'll get that plan through the Senate. The political hacks are going to go berserk over it and the Senate version will be just as weak as this last budget deal. So, in short I really don't forsee us getting anything meaninful done until after the next budget starts.

Half The World Burns And I Ask, "What Comes Next?"

Hey friends and neighbors, I'm just sitting here in my truck waiting on my slot in a tanker wash and looking over the news over at the Drudge Report. Damned scary time we live in. Damned scary time to have the weakest presidency in my memory "leading" the free world right now. Just looking at the news there are continuing problems in Egypt, China, Morrocco, Bahrain, Algiers, Yemen, and Tunisia.

Last year, rioters tried to burn Greece to the ground and a general state of unrest was felt through all of the EU. This year, North Africa and the middle east is burning and the contagion seems to be trying to gain a foot hold here in the U.S.

All of this unrest and chaos begs a very simple question of me: "What the HELL is going on?"

We've got the most self destructive administration in history fiddling while the world burns. Meanwhile, the First Lady tells everyone what they can and can't eat while stuffing her face with a meal that would feed a third world family for a week. Our nation is fighting itself while the world collapses and I am trying to understand why we can't seem to get our house in order. If we do not face the coming fire storm with a united front, we will not survive the conflagration. We'll burn the same as the other nations are.

On the other hand, those that survive will be those most suited to survive, so maybe that's not such a bad way to go. At some point every great forest has to burn to get rid of the dead wood and underbrush that chokes out productive growth. Perhaps it's time for that kind of cleansing here. To remove the chaff, so to speak.

Violence In America

I received a drive-by from one of the internet's most obscenely stupid trolls. He goes by the moniker "Ducky" and he is probably one of the most worthless posters to be found trolling the conservative blogs. Without even a modicum of intellect, he nevertheless continues to try to spew his ignorance in a vain attempt at placing me and other conservatives on the defence.

The sole reason that I've decided to mention this is that he struck a nerve with me. Several times since the last Presidential election cycle started, I have warned that I believed that with the political polarity that is running rampant in America today, that bloodshed is a foregone conclusion. I've neve endorsed violence as a means to an end. But I do see it as an inevitability. Nor have I ever said that I believed that conservatives would be the ones that would start the violence. On the contrary, over the last several years it has been shown over and over that it is and always will be the leftists and statists that will initiate the violence.

Unfortunately, violence must be met with violence. Statists and leftists are going to push the button on any and all bloodshed that is coming. But don't be misled, conservatives will not run from adversity no matter who brings it or the manner in which it arrives.

Get yourselves ready for what comes. Keep your powder dry folks.

Post Election Return. Or... The Okie Patriot's Resurrection

Well friends, I'm back. It's been a while and I have to say that I'm not entirely sure if I accomplished all that I wanted to when I took my hiatus. But I'll say this, I am fairly happy with the way that the mid terms went. We have recieved new constitutional leaders in the House of Representatives such as Alan West and many others. In fact, I believe that it is due to the work of many patriots that we have taken state legislation houses in many areas that have been traditionally liberal states. And to be honest, I had real doubts that the dems would allow a vote to go forward.

Thank God in heaven that I was wrong. However, now that the dems were taken to the woodshed, we can probably expect the next 2 months to be a sprint into all the socialist programs that they can force a vote on.

So, what does this mean for the country for the next 2 years? Well, assuming the Republicans are going to listen to We The People that put them in power in the House, the best that we can expect is 2 years of gridlock. Actually, in normal times, that is the best of all outcomes. However, with Barry's ObamaCare and the out of control spending is making this anything BUT a normal time in America. So, we're pretty much stuck with the socialist programs that have been enacted and those that may be pushed through before the transfer of power in mid January.

The good news is that the muslim in chief is just a couple months from being neutered politically. Assuming of course, that those new politicians and those like the RINO McCain (that claim to be reborn conservatives) continue to look to the people for their cue on what to pass and what to block. The energy that was built up for this midterm election must be continued. It must be built higher and more powerful for the next election cycle. And for the love of God, they must remain above reproach. We cannot allow the Liberal spin and smear machine to gain any ammunition for the destruction of our power base.

I'm glad to be back, friends. Truly I am. I was hoping that my more dire predictions would come up false, and I am truly happy to report that although there were indeed more and more blatant attempts at stealing the elections in the various states, that they did not succeed in ruining our efforts.

Hiatus For The Oklahoma Patriot

Folks, it's no secret that I haven't been posting on here as regularly as I once did. Nor do I do so with the passion and attention to details that I did a year ago. Some of this is due to my position. As an OTR driver and now a struggling entrepreneur, I simply don't have the time to devote to the site, as it deserves.

Also, I must admit that the cathartic release I got from posting my rants and rages on here, has been steadily decreasing. The frustration with the way the country has gone and the inability of true patriots to slow our country's degradation, let alone stop it, has reached a murderous pitch. I simply can't continue to put so much time and effort into watching the minutia of our decline. It is too painful. For a time, I am going to have to step back. Put more energy into my family and my business. I truly believe that the American dream is not dead. That it can be given CPR and brought back from the brink. I now have to focus on that and preparing my family in case the worst case scenarios do happen.

Understand, I love each and every one of you people that come to The Oklahoma Patriot. We may not always agree on everything, but then that's not required. I've made some great friends here and from other sites. Thank you all, and understand that I'm just taking a break, not going away permanently. In fact, if you care to, I would appreciate any emails you might like to send. I'll place my email at the bottom of this post for those that don't know it already.

Before I go, there are a couple of things I'd like to say. First, for those that came here and read my rants on a regular basis, thank you. Even more so to those that cared to either give me their kudos, or engage me in debate. Mahndisa, you've kept me honest and focused, thanks. You've seen hard times, and there are more ahead, but keep God and Family first, and He'll take care of the rest. Gramma you are a kindred heart and I have enjoyed our talks immensely. God bless you and yours. Womanhonorthyself you have the passion I started with, I hope you are more successful than I at keeping it both tempered and focused.

Hell, if I tried to list all of the people that I gathered my inspiration from, I'd be listing every blog on my blog roll for one thing or another. So, I'll just say thank you and God bless you all in the coming months.

To close, I want to present you with one message. It has become clear to me that this nation, as it has been known, cannot stand. The divisions are too deep and the hurdles too high. The animosity that the left has for the right, and vice versa, has escalated to the point of bloodshed. That can't be stopped by anything short of the second coming, so I'll just say this... Prepare.

Do what you need to to get your family protected to the best of your ability. Teach your children to be self-reliant in what they can be, and to rely on God rather than other men for everything else. In that way, you prepare them to pick up after we've trashed everything in our arrogance and stupidity. Find those states that have a majority that believe as you do and move there. Vote with your feet and let those that would continue to support failure stand on their own. Understand that EVERY form of socialism/Marxism has failed and that we cannot continue to support those policies any longer, no matter how painful the weaning will be (and it will be that. Painful.)

And last but not least... Go to your knees daily. Remember that we are not truly in control of anything. God in heaven is. All we can do is our best and trust him. We've been lousy stewards over a divine gift, in this republic. Perhaps we can bring some form of it back with his help. Until then, God grant you his Peace, and Strength. May he look down on you and shine his grace on all you do.

Rediscovery: Optimism and The American Dream

Ok, so no big surprise if I say that over the last 2 years or so, I've become a bit of a pessimist. I mean, who can blame me? Real unemployment rate is around the 22% mark according to the NY Post. Nationalization of the Banking, Finance, 2/3 of the auto industry, and last but not least, by any means, is the Medical industry. In addition to these chipper facts, is the daily attacks on our southern border by illegals who are given political and legal cover by the leftists in power.

However, besides fighting back on here and other sites, as well as preparing to survive WHATEVER comes in case America slides south, I and a few people that I work with, have decided to try fighting in another manner. Pursue and succeed in the American Dream, and help as many others do the same as possible. In that way, we can show the leftists that they will not win.

So, we started a business and are expanding it as fast as we can in as many directions and states as we can. Find a dream, go for it. That's the best way to piss off a liberal, succeed where they try to hamper productivity.

Quislings Everywhere

That was an editorial headline on April 15, 1940. The word "quisling" referred to traitors and collaborators that assisted the overthrow of their own countries during WWII. It came from the name of an infamous traitor, Vidkun Quisling, who assisted the Nazis for the sake of power. He wanted to rule the Norwegian government, himself.

I heard this word, quisling, in an Irish song called "The Patriot Game". I've been listening to a lot of Irish folk and patriotic songs lately, and I have to admit that they stir in me passions that probably would be safer and saner to put out of my heart.

As I listen to the few patriots that are ringing the bells of warning, and read the blogs that amount to the pamphleteers of the 1700's, that try to lay out our enemies' plans for our nation, I want to weep. I want to rage, and shake the people that I see going about their days and weeks as if they live in a bubble and that none of this is affecting them. There are plenty of those in my own family. But those are not the ones that really get my blood roiling.

It's the Quislings that really get me. Those traitorous bastards like Olympia Snowe, and the other turn coat Rinos that make me scream. It's the apologists in the mainstream media that I want to hang in the public square. The leaders that swore, much as I did, to uphold and protect the constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I would kill if given license. Hatred isn't strong enough. Rage is too tame a word.

Traitors that would vote to remove the rights of people and companies because they are inconvenient to the governments plans, or vote to put a socialist activist on the supreme court. People who would do everything in their power to undermine and destroy the very constitution that they SWORE to uphold.

I know what my future holds for me, if the country continues down the path it is currently on. The words that I write here will be deemed "dangerous" or "seditious" and they will come to shut me down. The same is waiting for nearly all of us that oppose the Obama regime. The difference is, I know that most of the thousands of bloggers out there, are going to quit and comply.

I will NOT! The last line of "The Patriot Game" is this, "And now as I lay here, my body all holes, I think of those traitors, who bargained and sold. I wish that my rifle had given the same to those Quislings that sold out the patriot game." This is the future for me if our governement continues to undermine and destroy the rights of the sovereign states and the rights of the individual. I won't live in a country like that.

The Coming Storm

I've been trying to catch up on some of the videos and blogs that I have been missing due to my truck driving profession keeping me busy for the last few days. A couple of videos caught my eye on The Right Scoop. One was of Megyn Kelly blasting Tom Tancredo for saying that Barry has violated his oath to support and defend the Constitution and therefoe should be impeached and removed.

Frankly, I don't see that it has a snowball's chance in Hell of happening, but that doesn't mean that the truth shouldn't be said. For the most part, I like Megyn Kelly. She's a very smart and obviously lovely lady, that shows a remarkable sense of honor for a lawyer. But this time, she was dead bang wrong on every count. And Tom hadn't even really scratched the surface of the transgressions that Barry has committed against his oath of office and the people of this nation that he is to serve.

The other video that I saw was of Glenn Beck's monologue about the new financial regulation bill. I've never seen him that angry. He literally threw the 2300 pages of the bill at the camera. I understand his frustration and it is the real reason for this blog entry.

I commented on the site (The Right Scoop) and said that I believed that Glenn's frustration and anger were because of the fact that he's dedicated to playing nice and his adversaries are just the opposite. They have no intention of stopping now that the bit is in their teeth. What he fails to understand is that the bloodshed that he expends so much energy to keep from happing, is a foregone conclusion to this mess.

I don't know what is going to set off the storm that's coming, it may be the collapse of the system due to the incredible financial stresses that it is under due to this man (and GW), or it may be that a group of patriots finally has enough and starts thinning the population of the Congress, Whitehouse, and the Supreme Court. Hell, it may even start in Arizona or California with the Mexicans entering and pillaging illegally. Whatever the reason, Blood will flow in American Cities.

I wish that I thought there were some way to keep it from happening, but I know that from this point on, the war has already begun. Now we just have to decide if we will determine the when and how, or let the left do it. Success and survival may decide on how it is to happen, but we'll see.

California Insanity Continues

Ok, I don't want to come across like I support the cop that shot the unarmed man in the subway video last year. Far from it! They should bury the guy under the jail. And I have to admit that I don't think he got his just rewards for the shooting. Involuntary manslaughter doesn't even come close. So I support whole heartedly the 1000 or so folks that protested PEACEFULLY yesterday. What I don't support, never will support, and find it impossible to even comprehend is why a lot of people found it necessary to start robbing, and looting their own city.

What the hell is wrong with the water in California? Don't like the way a jury comes back? Riot. Hell, they riot if the damned sports game doesn't come back like they want. So far they've only reported 50 or so arrests. I guess we'll see what happens next. Wonder what will happen when the California economy goes ahead and crashes. That should spark an even more insane set of actions by the loons in the cereal state.

My Irregular Rant

It's no secret that I haven't written much lately. Partially this is because I've been out on the road trying to make ends meet. However, if I'm honest I have to say that I haven't written much because I'm disgusted with the direction this nation has been taking. The helplessness and impotent fury that I'm feeling has me near the breaking point. I, and every other blogger with half a brain, have been preaching and teaching about what this government is going to attempt, and has in some cases accomplished. The radical pushes towards government supremacy in every aspect of our lives. The systematic dismantling and destruction of private industry and free market economy. The push further and further away from Constitutional governance.

For all of these things, our Founding Fathers left what they knew and fought and died to make something better. 230+ years later, we've not only forgotten most of our history, we've allowed it to be re-written to make us out as some form of oppressive monster, instead of the beacon for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness that we are.

I asked some time back what would be the breaking point for patriots that visit here. I've never really recieved answers on that question. When does the blood of our forefathers boil in us to the point where we take the power back from D.C. and put it back into the hands of the states.

I have read that a few states have started using the legislative tool known as nullification. However, for the most part they have been quiet about it and not forcing the issue. Why aren't they screaming from the mountain tops about their anger at the misuse and abuse of federal power? Why hasn't that million plus march last year repeated itself with the intent of shutting down the capital? Does anyone think that they couldn't do it if they all put their minds to it? 1,000,000 plus people with deer rifles slung over their shoulders(not brandished just slung) could do more to show the distaste that we have for what is happening than all the blogging done since this whole farce started over two years ago.

I find it distasteful that we sit here blogging and complaining about what is being done and no one is paying attention to the very real danger we are in. Sometime back I wrote a post about how all it would take is a federal declaration of emergency for the federal government to set aside the constitution and FEMA would take over without constitutional limits of any kind. Look at everything this government has done to out and out destroy our economy. They've done more to harm than to help in every disaster (especially this gulf spill) that has beset this nation since it took power. Not one policy enacted by this administration has been benificial in any way.

They've nationalized (read also, government run) 2/3 of the auto industry. They've nationalized the finance and banking industries. They forced the self-destruction of the medical insurance industry. That's a murder that will take a bit for the body to assume room temperature, but it is going to happen all the same. On and on and on I could go, but we have all read and re-read the emergency steps that they felt were "necessary". But not one of these steps, including a stimulus bill that forced the states to put themselves further and further into debt with unfunded and unsustainable programs mandated by federal law, has done anything but make us more and more weak. Both at home and in the world market.

And still we type. Still we vent our bile here and DO nothing. We march, we send letters, we call our congressmen and senators. Which has availed most of us nothing.

The leftists have taken more power than they've EVER had in this country before. In the upcoming election, they will lose most of that gain and will be faced with a possible reduction of what they've fought so hard to implement. Does anyone really think they're going to let that happen? I have serious doubts as to whether the leadership that is in control now, is really of a mind to let the unwashed masses ruin their party if they can avoid it.

To put it in terms that the very few leftists that come here can understand, I believe that they are going to try to avoid having the next set of elections. Some form of disaster will be manufactured or created ad hoc to allow a federal declaration of emergency and poof bush's directive 51 get's enacted. Guess we'll see.

An Honor For The Oklahoma Patriot

Hey all, just a quick line or three about an honor that came my way this evening. A friend of mine had two beautiful baby boys a couple months ago, and tonight they came by and asked me if I'd like to be their godfather. Now, we aren't Catholic but I still consider it a great honor to be asked. As I understand it, as a godfather it's my job, as it were, to be an emotional/spiritual/moral guide to the boys.

I find this to be one of the most humbling requests that have ever been made of me, and I am very honored and happy to have been the one asked. I hope that I am up to the task. It's no secret that I've lived my life with one foot in heaven and the other in hell. But I'll give it all the effort that the Lord has given me the strength to attempt.

Reality Hits Home At The Oklahoma Patriot

Yesterday, I took my Dad to the VA in Oklahoma City for a minor outpatient procedure. While I was there, I got into a discussion with a man and his wife about politics. My dad says that I picked this fight, and yeah, I guess I did.

Here's the skinny, this joker and his wife were talking to another veteran and his spouse and was on the receiving end of a story about an old man who built a huge house for himself and his wife after years and years of working himself into the ground and saving. (As a side note, when did thrift become a dirty word in this country?) The couple that was relating the story were in awe of this man and his dedication to working and saving. The couple that this post is truly regarding called him a "nut". Epithets like "crazy" and "selfish" were about the best thing that they had to offer.

That's when I spoke up. I told them that he worked all his life, and saved that money. That since he couldn't take it with him, he was entitled to do with it as he liked. The wife muttered under her breath in disgust that he could have help a lot of people with that kind of money. I beg to differ. You maybe could give a lot of people some hand outs with a couple hundred thousand bucks, but you couldn't do any real lasting good for them. All you do is make people expect handouts. You could pick one or two people, at most, and give them an education, but to what end? What return do you get for your money? How do you know they'd use the education wisely?

Even Christ preached that you should be good stewards of the gifts you're given. God frowns on people that throw away his gifts. To give handouts to people without any form of return is against his teachings and flies in the face of reason. On the other hand, if you gave scholarships to specific colleges that taught conservative ideals, that trained people to be leaders of character and compassion, that would be a truly good thing to do.

However, I would fight for this man's right to do whatever he wished with his money. If a person works hard all his life, saves his money, provides a good home and education for his children, who's business is it what he does with what he has left over?

The rest of our conversation went down hill. This whacked couple actually had the temerity to say that religion and the freedom to reproduce without controls was the soul reason for the state of our woes today. I looked at my dad and said, loudly, if you ever had a question as to what a Marxist looks like, they're over there. The couple got up and left.

It was pretty quiet for a while and then we were called back for my dad's procedure. I fumed for most of the day as I remembered the derision that they used when talking about "teabaggers" and calling them racists and ignorant. His callous disregard for any one's point of view that differed from his was astonishing. His lack of any scope of history was truly amazing. I truly feel sorry for those that are so soulless as to believe that man has any hope of perfecting the human condition outside of divine providence.

I haven't posted anything of importance lately. This is due, mainly, to the fact that I've gotten so sick and tired of constantly hearing the droning sound of jack-boots marching this nation to oblivion that I've started to block much of it out. We've got people on our side (allegedly) making nice with rhinos and trying to prop them up. We've got states taking on the job of the federal government and the same federal government ignoring the initial problem and instead of doing its constitutionally mandated job, securing our national safety and sovereignty, they are more intent with installing themselves in more and more of our daily lives.

I will say this, though; because of what's going on down in Arizona and more recently in Georgia, my prediction is that if the governor there doesn't cave or the courts do during the law suit now pending, then the Arizona sand will be blood red by the end of the summer. Things are coming to a logger-head between Arizona citizens and the human leeches that are coming across our border. Personally, I think a state bounty and citizen enforcement laws should be in place to round up and forcibly deport anyone in this nation illegally. They have NO rights under our constitution and shouldn't be afforded any just because they made it across the damn line. No nation can long survive if they do not control their borders. The American Indians taught me that.

As for those that are still planning marches, please stop. You're wasting time and money better spent on getting your marksmanship skills and preparations ready. The powers that be, in D.C. at any rate, aren't listening. They are still making noise, and I suspect making backroom deals to get amnesty put through before the elections.

I'd really like an answer to this one. What will you do if they do pass illegal alien amnesty before the election? Will you continue to march? Will you still pretend that they are playing by the rules? They will have shown that they are willing to win by hook or crook. So, what will you do?

Listen to me! The federal government as it stands is LOST! You cannot make them listen. They already hear you, they just don't care. They are harlots, power mongers, drug dealers, and thieves. They have no sacred honor or loyalty to the constitution that they swore to uphold. Given the opportunity and sanction by the people, I'd love to see a bullet put in every traitor that has pissed on the constitution for the last 30 years. Ted Kennedy at least is already getting what he has coming for him. Now if the other 350+ reprobate hypocrites would do us all a favor and take a long walk off the top of some tall buildings, I'd be appreciative.

The answer doesn't lie in D.C.. It lies in each of the respective states. We should be focusing 100% of our energy on retaking what we can in each state. Then use the power of the states to starve the intestinal parasite called D.C. into submission. Then and only then can we spray that town for weasels.

As we focus on our states, counties, and town races, we're going to encounter stiff opposition. Fine. Let it come. I have said before that there will be blood in the streets in America before it's over. The fight brewing in Arizona is just part of it. And it IS NECESSARY for it to happen if we are going to ever be able to reclaim our nation for what it was intended. I'm not saying that we should go out and start it, on the contrary, what I'm saying is that those on the left will force it to happen. Are you prepared for it? They're pushing more and more now. They attack those that turn out to protest against them. They call us racists, and Nazis. That kind of hate always breeds violence, and it is going to again. Personally, I plan to make sure that if (when) it happens here, I and my family will be fine. God help those that don't prepare.

Now, the things I'm writing will be called seditious by the leftists, and even by some with weak livers on the center-right. I have to disagree, the definition of sedition is to speak or act against the power of the State. But here in America, it is a founding principle that ALL power is derived not from the federal government but from the people. I am not speaking out against the power of the people, or the individual states (whose signors brought the federal government into being). I am speaking out against usurpers and tyrants who pose as leaders and law-givers. They have performed act after act of sedition and treason against the constitution. And for those acts, I pray to God that I'm allowed to see them fall, and fall hard.

To recap, war in America is coming. Prepare your state for it. Prepare your town and your family. Ensure that those that govern your states are of a mind with our founders. Then when the smoke clears we can clean up and start fresh with our founders' ideals to the fore.

Rules For Dating My Daughter

These were sent to me in an email some years back. My daughter is less than a month from 13 and is becoming a beautiful young woman. Much to my displeasure, there are 3 boys that are showing an inordinate amount of interest in her. So I printed this off for her to give to them.

She's still got a couple years before her first true date, but I feel it's important for everyone to know where I stand.

10 Rules For Dating My Daughter

Rule One:

If you pull into my driveway and honk you'd better be delivering a package, because you're sure not picking anything up.

Rule Two:

You do not touch my daughter in front of me. You may glance at her, so long as you do not peer at anything below her neck. If you cannot keep your eyes or hands off of my daughter's body, I will remove them.

Rule Three:

I am aware that it is considered fashionable for boys of your age to wear their trousers so loosely that they appear to be falling off their hips. Please don't take this as an insult, but you and all of your friends are complete idiots. Still, I want to be fair and open minded about this issue, so I propose his compromise: You may come to the door with your underwear showing and your pants ten sizes too big, and I will not object. However, in order to ensure that your clothes do not, in fact, come off during the course of your date with my daughter, I will take my electric nail gun and fasten your trousers securely in place to your waist.

Rule Four:

I'm sure you've been told that in today's world, sex without utilising a "barrier method" of some kind can kill you. Let me elaborate, when it comes to sex, I am the barrier, and I will kill you.

Rule Five:

It is usually understood that in order for us to get to know each other, we should talk about sports, politics, and other issues of the day. Please do not do this. The only information I require from you is an indication of when you expect to have my daughter safely back at my house, and the only word I need from you on this subject is "early."

Rule Six:

I have no doubt you are a popular fellow, with many opportunities to date other girls. This is fine with me as long as it is okay with my daughter. Otherwise, once you have gone out with my little girl, you will continue to date no one but her until she is finished with you. If you make her cry, I will make you cry.

Rule Seven:

As you stand in my front hallway, waiting for my daughter to appear, and more than an hour goes by, do not sigh and fidget. If you want to be on time for the movie, you should not be dating. My daughter is putting on her makeup, a process that can take longer than painting the Golden Gate Bridge. Instead of just standing there, why don't you do something useful, like changing the oil in my car?

Rule Eight:

The following places are not appropriate for a date with my daughter: Places where there are beds, sofas, or anything softer than a wooden stool. Places where there are no parents, policemen, or nuns within eyesight. Places where there is darkness. Places where there is dancing, holding hands, or happiness. Places where the ambient temperature is warm enough to induce my daughter to wear shorts, tank tops, midriff T-shirts, or anything other than overalls, a sweater, and a goose down parka - zipped up to her throat. Movies with a strong romantic or sexual theme are to be avoided; movies which features chain saws are okay. Hockey games are okay. Old folks homes are better.

Rule Nine:

Do not lie to me. I may appear to be a pot-bellied, balding, middle-aged, dim-witted has-been. But on issues relating to my daughter, I am the all-knowing, merciless god of your universe. If I ask you where you are going and with whom, you have one chance to tell me the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I have a shotgun, a shovel, and five acres behind the house. Do not trifle with me.

Rule Ten:

Be afraid. Be very afraid. It takes very little for me to mistake the sound of your car in the driveway for a chopper coming in over a rice paddy near Hanoi. When my Agent Orange starts acting up, the voices in my head frequently tell me to clean the guns as I wait for you to bring my daughter home. As soon as you pull into the driveway you should exit your car with both hands in plain sight. Speak the perimeter password, announce in a clear voice that you have brought my daughter home safely and early, then return to your car - there is no need for you to come inside. Hey all. Let's see, the last I posted was that I was in New York, and headed for Massachusetts. Well, my trip actually took me all the way up to the northern tip of Maine. A little town called Mapleton. Georgeous place, Maine. So, here's the skinny. In every state that I went through, I made sure to stop in at local stores like Wal-Mart and Price Chopper and try to get an idea of their feelings regarding the usurper in chief. What I heard surprised me. Keep in mind that this is merely anecdotal and not scientific in any way, but the biggest thing I noticed was that if you got out of the cities, Barry and his cronies were not very popular at all. In Massechusetts, the feeling I get towards the great alcoholic, murdering, S.O.B. Kennedy was that it was a joke the way they kept voting him back in.

People outside the big cities are not pleased at all about the way things have been headed lately. It seems that the powers that be, are having a harder time than they thought getting the folk in the rural north east to drink the koolaid. Hooray for common sense. I was beginning to believe that it was a regional definciency. Apparently not. At least not on the East Coast. The left coast is another animal altogether and I don't know enough about them to say.

Ok, so after 8 days and 4500 miles, I'm home. It took me a while to get rested back up to normal and so I've been reading blogs and commenting on a few trying to get my juices flowing. There's been a lot of good news and a lot of bad. From what I've read, Cap and Tax is making a comeback in Congress, as is illegal amnesty in the guise of immigration reform. So, too is the further nationalization of our financial system via attacks on Goldman Sachs. I don't know if they're guilty of fraud. As far as I know, there has been no investigation yet, let alone a trial. So far, the left is just content to crucify them in the court of public opinion based on the fact that they made a goodly profit in a recession. Personally, my opinion is if you want to crucify someone for fraud, start with Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Barry Obama, and Rahm Emmanuel. Hell, every bastard male and female that voted for the healthcare bill should be in prison for violating their oath of office.

Good news, now. Here in Oklahoma, some legislators are making noise (according to an AP piece) about putting forth a bill to fund a state militia, outside the National Guard. No Federal mandates or chains of command. That, along with the news out of Arizona, makes me positive that there are lines being drawn. Trying to stay neutral isn't going to be an option. States are demanding their rights, and seem to be willing to use the same threat of force (prison for federal officers enforcing federal regulations on gun sales) that the Feds are willing to throw around. That kind of force to force action should be taken by all states that are concerned about state sovreignty.

It will force the feds' hand and they'll have to take action. That way lies blood but it also holds the key to restarting the American system and the only hope of resurrecting the American Dream.

I was commenting on another site shortly after the passage of the Health Care Reform Act. And I had some refer to me as a "reactionary". Having not heard of this outside of a reference in a John Wayne movie, and some vague references I saw in a history book some 26 years ago, I decided that I'd better look it up.

Yeah, that pretty much sums me up, in a nutshell. It pisses me off when an effetist leftist snob, tries to look down on me because my arguments are base on my moral compass and not on which letters come after my name or what school of philosophy that I have or haven't attended. Most of them, to paraphrase a favorite movie, have their moral compasses so f***ed up that it's a miracle they can find their way to the parking lot.

They refuse to look at historical lessons that show the end result of current and past attempts at socialist eutopias. The history books are replete with countries that NO LONGER EXIST or whose governments have fallen and been replaced, because socialism is impossible to maintain. The human condition will not allow for socialism to work. There will always be those that produce, and always be those that consume, and if you force the former to give up the fruits of his labors to support the latter, than you remove the drive for the producer to expand and innovate. Stagnation occurs and everyone suffers. Better by far for those who refuse to produce to be allowed to fail and be culled out by natural law, than for the whole citizenry be reduced just to give the leech sustanance.

I have no patience for those that say that healthcare is a right. It's not a right, its a "good". Goods are bought and sold. They are the product of someone's hard work, ie doctor's education, practice, and dedication. How can anyone be "entitled" to the work and sweat of another. You can't. The same can be said of Social Security, Welfare, Medicare, Medicaid, Prescription Drug Coverage, Farm subsidies, Business Subsidies, etc., etc..

Socialism, of any kind, is evil. Because it reduces a person's desire to expand his knowlege and ability in favor of dependance on the benevolence of the government. Anything that makes a person less, reduces the gifts that God gives each of us.

If you look at other countries, they save more and are more thrifty than we have become in the last 50 years. At one time, thrift was a virtue that was cultivated by our fore fathers. Now, look at us. We're gross consumers. Always with our hands out waiting for our handouts from the All Powerful Oz....er... I mean Obama. I've seen first hand what happens when a section of people that subsist on Government largesse. I have been dealing extensively with the biodiesel industry in Missouri, Iowa, and Nebraska. In case there are some that don't understand, the biodiesel industry is a government set up and subsidized industry that is not now, nor will be in the foreseeable future, a viable industry in its own right. When the subsidies dried up and the government didn't renew the funding bill, plants all across Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, and I believe Kansas have shut their doors. Hundreds, if not thousands of people are out of work. Is it because the government didn't renew the funding? NO. It's because the plants themselves are unsustainable. If you have to have the government prop up your business because you can't do business on your own and be profitable, then that busisess shouldn't exist.

This is a reality that all Americans are going to have to face. I don't much like the fact that so many people are out of work because of this, but on the other hand, if we didn't have so many people standing out there with their hand out waiting on government funding, then the plants would never have been opened in the first place.

Why The Military Will Side With Barry

If you've spent any time at my site, two things are pretty damn clear. First, I'm a patriot and a believer in both Christ and the Constitution. The second is that I believe with all of my heart that this once great nation is doomed to fall as a center of freedom. Because of this, I have become a true believer in secession as a means of survival for states that have not given over their belief in the sovereignty of each state. Part of me wants to puke when I think of what this nation has become. Part of me, truly, wishes that the federal government would take it's conflict with the American people to the next level and show their true colors so that Those few Americans that truly value freedom can at least go down swinging. As a result of what I see as inevitable, the armed conflict between statists in the government and patriots in the public, I believe in and am in the process of helping to build militia groups.

People ask me if I really believe that a militia can ever over throw the government and I respond in the negative every time. But then, overthrowing the government isn't the point. A true militia isn't planning on attacking the government, a true militia plans to help protect themselves and their community FROM the government. Usually, after I explain that to them, most respond with something like, do you really think that the Military would support such a move (consfiscating arms, martial law, suspension of habeas corpus, etc.) on the part of the government?

Of course I do. And here's why. During hurricane Katrina, the law enforcement agencies in New Orleans, supported by the state national guard, collected every LEGAL gun they could get a hold of inside the affected areas. IN DIRECT VIOLATION OF THE SECOND AMENDMENT. The national guard helped. They aided and abetted the suspension of the citizens of Louisiana's civil rights. Why would they do that? I was a soldier at one time, and it comes down to training. Soldiers are not trained what the Constitution says, and we know that public school doesn't explain it, except maybe in terms that are favorable to statist agendas. They (military) are trained to obey. Simply that, obey with very little question and even less explanation. The questions of whether the action is justifiable under legal reasons very rarely if ever, enters the soldier, airman, marine, or sailor's mind.

Now, I found an article that explains it in more detail. Not the action specifically, but how people can be made to do things that they would otherwise be loath to do. A french experiment shows just what kind of sheep people truly are. Or rather the vast majority of them are. Read this and tell me what you think.

A Man Must Know His Limitations.

At the end of the Clint Eastwood movie "Magnum Force", after watching the mastermind crooked civil servant blow up Callahan says "Mans got to know his limitations." I love that line. It's something that has stayed with me as a life lesson. I know that I am, for good or ill, a truck driver. It's pretty much the only other thing, other than writing and getting people worked up, that is, that I know how to do well. Oh, it's not that I'm not educated enough. I've been to college, although I admit that I had no stomach to put up with the liberal twits that run most universities, and dropped out after 2 years. It's not that I am not flexible enough to learn another skill set, I have been in the sales industry, tele-communications, and in the life and health insurance business. As a rule, stupid people do not pass the insurance exams to become an agent. No, my problem is simply that I do not play well with others. I have no tolerance for stupidity and cannot abide social justice programs like affirmative action, where people are given handouts based on their skin color or the fact that they pee sitting down, rather than on who is best qualified. I also, have no tolerance for union jobs and have given up opportunities that would have paid me a much better income than I now make, if I had just bent my stubborn neck and comprimised my principles a bit.

But here's the thing; the road to hell is paved with such small comprimises. People that are willing to give a little up on their core beliefs for the the prospect of getting some little tidbit in return are cowards. This is my problem with 99.99999% of all the worthless baby kissing, back-stabbing, soulless wretches that infect our nations capitol. It's also the main problem I have with nearly all of the media talking heads that we see on the cable and broadcast stations from coast to coast. No one is willing to take their beliefs to the mat. They want to "talk through" their differences. Seek to "understand" an enemies point of view, even when it is patently obvious that the enemy's views are without merit. The people that are willing to "reach across the isle" in such circumstances are pathetic and have no place in leadership roles.

I have joined with people here in my state to start a fledgling organization with a different point of focus than I have seen anywhere else on the web, or on TV. Perhaps there are sister and brother organizations but I've not seen them and so I hope to foster some in the future. The organization that I see arising, is one based on education or re-education, as the case may be. To systematically re-assert our Founding Fathers' vision for our nation by taking back our state government and populating it with people that believe in state sovereignty and are willing to take it to the mat.

To be sure, we will train in the skills that one might need in cases of emergency, such as self-defense/hand to hand combat, marksmanship, survival, hunting and fishing, escape and evasion. We will learn small unit tactics and if and when other groups come up, we will practice coordinated strategy as well.

But that is in the future. For now, we are interested in educating and recruiting people that are unafraid to speak their minds and to know the truth. Understand that no militia will be able to hold if they do not get their state to stand up to the federal government first. I have been reading reports of more and more states re-asserting their 10th amendment rights and some even putting the threat of prison time for offending federal agents to pen in the form of law. This is a beautiful thing to me. I have written before about how worthless I found the tenth amendment resolutions most states have used because they do not force the government to take them seriously. In fact, they are all ignored.

Oklahoma is making inroads to this point, but until we get rid of that bed-wetting sidesaddle Governor Henry, we are a bit stymied. However, tea party groups and 9/12 groups have sprung up throughout the state and have started bringing good candidates to the fight. But one way or another, we have to win. By pen or sword, I see no other outcome that is livable. I will not live to see America become Europe. That thought is so hateful to me that I want to vomit just thinking it.

I urge each person that reads this to think seriously about what our freedom and liberty are worth. Are they worth prison, death, homelessness, being branded a traitor or terrorist? Is the freedom of our children and their children worth being beaten and starved near to death? Having your money and property stolen and your family forced into hiding? Those are the very fates of the men who died and suffered to give you this nation.

If you are not willing to live up to what they gave before you, then you do not value your freedom and might as well go back to your life and forget that those that will fight for it even exist. Gone are the times when we could engage the statists with half measures. They have proven that the rule of law is only sufficient when it serves their purposes and is merely a minor obsticle when it doesn't. Our Constitution has been relegated to a floor mat that the statists wipe their feet with when starting a new round of socialist pushes. Stand up, and fight with everything you have, or give yourself over to going quietly into the night. For me, I'll rage and fight and if the leftists do beat me, I only pray that I have the courage to spit in the Devils eye when he takes me. (over the top, but heartfelt)

Founding Principles 101 (Repost)

This topic has been much debated by people on all sides for the last 80 years. For some reason it has become "common knowledge" that there is a constitutional wall of separation of church and state. Hmmm. I've been through the Constitution three times tonight and I've not found that anywhere. I found only the first Amendment which states that the government may not establish a religion or tell anyone how to worship. Well and good. But that doesn't touch the question of how did the founders see Religion, specifically the Christian religion, being a part of governance.

In this post, I will look at both what was said, and what was common practice in Government as a way to infer or ascertain their governing beliefs. I will try to annotate everything with relevant references so that anyone that wishes to can fact check. Nothing I post will be without corroboration. And in nearly every case, emphasis is mine.

The first four colonies in America were founded in the hopes of religious freedoms. First off the Separatists founded the Plymouth colony which later joined into the Massachusetts colony. The Massachusetts colony then spawned the Connecticut colony and the Rhode Island Colony. Later the Quaker's would found the Pennsylvania Colony. All of these were theocratic governments insofar as they ruled by edict of their respective denominational beliefs. From here we will skip forward a few years until the revolution. Now, with the understanding that original beliefs in the colonies were almost entirely Christian with the exception of one Jewish Synagogue built in 1763 in New Port, Rhode Island (The first Muslim mosque wasn't built until 1915.), we'll look at some of the founding documents. Notes and empahsis is mine, of course.

"When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to
dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness...

(last paragraph)...We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of
America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these united Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States, that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. — And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor."

No less than four times, the Founders referenced God as the author to our rights and the justice they were seeking. Given that the Founders did not ascribe to the current philosophy of Christian on Sunday and secular every other day, their belief in Christ as the "Supreme Judge of the world" makes it clear to whom they were referring to.
I found this essay, Faith and the American Founding: Illustrating Religion's Influence. while researching for this post, and as it does an admirable job of detailing some of my points, both pre and post revolution, I thought I'd add it. However, having found in it most if not all the points that I would like to hit, and most of those from a point of view that is broader and harder to assault than mine I will just post it here in it's entirety.

How long are we going to keep this experiment, this America? We are “testing whether this nation can long endure,” Lincoln said at Gettysburg. We’re still testing. Is America a meteor that blazed across the heavens and is now exhausted? Or rather is our present moral fog a transient time of trial, those hours cold and dark before the ramparts’ new gleaming? Are we near our end or at a beginning?
In answer to these questions, I want to tell six brief stories to illustrate the religious principles of the American founding. For a hundred years scholars have stressed the principles that come from the Enlightenment and from John Locke in particular. But there are also first principles that come to us from Judaism and Christianity, especially from Judaism. Indeed, it is important to recognize that most of what our Founders talked about (when they talked politically) came from the Jewish Testament, not the Christian. The Protestant Christians who led the way in establishing the principles of this country were uncommonly attached to the Jewish Testament.
Scholars often mistakenly refer to the god of the Founders as a deist god. But the Founders talked about God in terms that are radically Jewish: Creator, Lawgiver, Governor, Judge, and Providence. These were the names they most commonly used for Him, notably in the Declaration of Independence. For the most part, these are not names that could have come from the Greeks or Romans, but only from the Jewish Testament. Perhaps the Founders avoided Christian language because they didn’t want to divide one another, since different colonies were founded under different Christian inspirations. In any case, all found common language in the language of the Jewish Testament. It is important for citizens today whose main inspiration is the Enlightenment and Reason to grasp the religious elements in the founding, which have been understated for a hundred years.
For these principles are important to many fellow citizens, and they are probably indispensable to the moral health of the Republic, as Washington taught us in his Farewell Address:“Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.”
Reason and faith are the two wings by which the American eagle took flight.
If I stress the second wing, the Jewish especially, it is because scholars have paid too much attention to Jefferson in these matters and ignored the other one hundred top Founders. For instance, we’ve ignored John Witherspoon, the president of Princeton, “the most influential professor in the history of America,” who taught one President (Madison stayed an extra year at Princeton to study with him), a Vice President, three Supreme Court justices including the chief justice, 12 members of the Continental Congress, five delegates to the Constitutional Convention, 14 members of the State Conventions (that ratified the Constitution). During the revolution, many of his pupils were in positions of command in the American forces. We’ve ignored Dr. Benjamin Rush of Pennsylvania, John Wilson of Pennsylvania, and a host of others.
I want to quote from some of the Founders to give you a taste of the religious energy behind the founding.
Jefferson’s Sanction
Here is my first little story, an anecdote recorded by a minister of the time:
President Jefferson was on his way to church on a Sunday morning with his large red prayer book under his arm when a friend querying him after their mutual good morning said which way are you walking Mr. Jefferson. To which he replied to Church Sir. You going to church Mr. J. You do not believe a word in it. Sir said Mr. J. No nation has ever yet existed or been governed without religion. Nor can be. The Christian religion is the best religion that has ever been given to man and I as chief Magistrate of this nation am bound to give it the sanction of my example.Good morning Sir.
Note what Jefferson is saying. He didn’t say he believed in the Christian God; he evaded that point. But Jefferson did agree with what all his colleagues in the founding thought, that a people cannot maintain liberty without religion. Here is John Adams in 1776:
I sometimes tremble to think that although we are engaged in the best cause that ever employed the human heart, yet the prospect of success is doubtful, not for want of power or of wisdom but of virtue.
The founding generation had no munitions factory this side of the ocean, and yet they were facing the most powerful army and the largest navy in the world. Besides, their unity was fragile. The people of Virginia did not like the people of Massachusetts. The people of Massachusetts did not think highly of the people of Georgia. Reflecting on this point, President Witherspoon, who had just arrived from Scotland in 1768 and was not at first in favor of it, gave a famous sermon in April 1776 supporting independence two months before July 4. His text was read in all 500 Presbyterian churches in the colonies and widely reproduced. Witherspoon argued that although hostilities had been going on for two years, the king still did not understand that he could easily have divided the colonies and ended the hostilities. That the king didn’t do so showed that he was not close enough to know how to govern the Americans.
If they were to stick together with people they didn’t particularly like, the Americans needed virtues of tolerance, civic spirit, and a love of the common good. Further, because the new nation couldn’t compete in armed power, the colonists depended on high moral qualities in their leaders and on devotion in the people. In order to win, for instance, Washington had to avoid frontal combat, and to rely on the moral endurance of his countrymen year after year. To this end, Washington issued an order that any soldier who used profane language would be drummed out of the army. He impressed upon his men that they were fighting for a cause that demanded a special moral appeal, and he wanted no citizen to be shocked by the language and behavior of his troops. The men must show day-by-day that they fought under a special moral covenant.
Now think of our predicament today. How many people in America today understand the four key words that once formed a great mosaic over the American Republic? Truth, we “hold these truths”; Liberty, “conceived in liberty”; Law, “liberty under law”; and Judge, “appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions.” On the face of things, our Founders were committing treason. In the eyes of the world, they were seditious. They appealed to an objective world, and beyond the eyes of an objective world, they appealed to the Supreme Judge for the rectitude of their intentions. That great mosaic, which used to form the beautiful, colorful apse over the American Republic, in this nonjudgmental age has fallen to the dust. It is disassembled in a thousand pieces. Fewer every year remember how it used to look.
Congress in Prayer
In the first days of September 1774, from every region, members of the First Continental Congress were riding dustily toward Philadelphia, where they hoped to remind King George III of the rights due to them as Englishmen. That’s all they were claiming: the rights of Englishmen. And they wanted to remind King George that they were wards of the king. They weren’t founded by the Parliament, they were founded by the king, and they resented the Parliament taxing them. The Parliament had nothing to do with their relationship to the king, they thought. Yet, as these delegates were gathering, news arrived that the king’s troops were shelling Charlestown and Boston, and rumors flew that the city was being sacked, and robbery and murder were being committed. Those rumors turned out not to be true, but that’s the news they heard. Thus, as they gathered, the delegates were confronted with impending war. Their first act as a Continental Congress was to request a session of prayer.
Mr. Jay of New York and Mr. Rutledge of South Carolina immediately spoke against this motion. They said that Americans are so divided in religious sentiments, some Episcopalians, some Quakers, some Anabaptists, some Presbyterians, and some Congregationalists, all could not join in the same act of prayer. Sam Adams rose to say he’s no bigot, and could hear a prayer from any gentleman of piety and virtue as long as he is a patriot. “I’ve heard of a certain Reverend Duché,” he said, speaking of the rector of Christ Church down the street from where they were meeting. “People say he’s earned that character.” Adams moved that the same be asked to read prayers before Congress on the next morning. And the motion carried.
Thus it happened that the first act of the Congress on September 7, 1774, was a prayer, pronounced by an Episcopalian clergyman dressed in his pontificals. And what did he read? He read a Jewish prayer, Psalm 35 in the Book of Common Prayer. Now imagine the king’s troops moving against the homes of some of the people gathered there. Imagine the delegates from South Carolina and New York thinking that the fleet might be shelling their homes soon.
Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me. Fight against them that fight against me.
Take hold of buckler and shield, and rise up for my help.
…Say to my soul, “I am your salvation.”
Let those be ashamed and dishonored who seek my life. Let those be turned back and humiliated who devise evil against me.
Before the Reverend Duché knelt Washington, Henry, Randolph, Rutledge, Lee, and Jay; and by their side, with heads bowed, the Puritan patriots who could imagine at that moment their own homes being bombarded and overrun. Over these bowed heads the Reverend Duché uttered what all testified was an eloquent prayer for America, for Congress, for the Province of Massachusetts Bay, and especially for the town of Boston. The emotion in the room was palpable, and John Adams wrote to Abigail that night that he had never heard a better prayer or one so well pronounced. “I never saw a greater effect upon an audience. It seemed as if heaven had ordained that that Psalm be read on that morning. It was enough to melt a stone. I saw tears gush into the eyes of the old, grave pacific Quakers of Philadelphia. I must beg you, Abigail, to read that Psalm.”
In this fashion, right at its beginning, this nation formed a covenant with God which is repeated in the Declaration: “with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence.” The Founders pledged their fidelity to the will of God, and asked God to protect their liberty. They further enacted this covenant in many later acts of Congress regarding Days of Fasting. Within the first six months, for instance, Congress put out a proclamation that every American state set aside a day of prayer and fasting:
December 11, 1776: Resolved that it be recommended to all the United States as soon as possible to appoint a day of solemn fasting and humiliation to implore the Almighty God to forgiveness of the many sins prevailing among all ranks and to beg the countenance and the assistance of his Providence in the prosecution of the present just and necessary war.
And then, within another year, an act of Congress instituted a Day of Thanksgiving to commemorate the signal successes of that year, and again the next year. Years later, in The Federalist No. 38, Publius marveled at the improbable unanimity achieved among fragmented delegates, from free states and slave, from small states and large, from rich states and poor. “It is impossible for the man of pious reflection not to perceive in it a finger of the Almighty hand which has been so frequently and signally extended to our relief in the critical stages of the revolution.” Three times The Federalist notes the blessings of Providence upon this country.
An Act of Providence
On the night before the battle of Long Island, the Americans received intelligence that the British were attacking the next morning, and Washington was trapped with his whole army. Washington saw that there was only one way out—by boat. During the night, the Americans gathered as many boats as they could. There weren’t enough. Morning came, and more than half the army was still on shore. A huge fog rolled in and covered them till noon. They escaped, and when the British closed the trap, there was no one there. The Americans interpreted that fog as an act of Providence.
In the preaching of the time, Americans learned as follows: Providence does not mean that God works magically; rather, from all time every detail of the tapestry is known to the one who weaves it. To the Eternal God, there is neither time nor sequence, but every detail of the tapestry is visible to Him as if in one simultaneous moment, each thing acting independently and freely, but cohering as a whole, like characters in a well-wrought novel. Thus, the rival general, on the morning of the great battle comes down with dysentery and can’t concentrate. Nothing more common in the affairs of human beings than circumstance and chance, which only those who lived through them in time and sequence found to be surprising. The very sermon Witherspoon preached on behalf of independence in April 1776 was a sermon on how Providence acts by contingent and indirect actions—not foreseen, because God doesn’t “foresee” anything. He’s present to everything, in the Jewish and Christian understanding. He’s not before or after, He’s present to all things at one time. And like a great novelist, He sees the details of what He does, and how they all hook together, without forcing anybody’s liberty, without manipulating anything.
The Author of LibertyWhen Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence, he mentioned God twice. Before the Congress would sign it, members insisted on two more references to God. Thus, the four names already mentioned: the Author of nature and nature’s laws; the Creator who endowed in us our rights; the Judge to whom we appeal in witness that our motives spring not out of seditiousness, but from a dear love of liberty, and a deep sense of our own proper dignity; and a trust in Divine Providence.
The fundamental meaning of the Jewish, and later the Christian, Bible is that the axis of the universe is what happens in the interior of the human being. Every story in the Bible is a story of what happens in the arena of the human will. In one chapter King David is faithful to his Lord and in the next, not. And the suspense of every chapter is, What will humans choose next? Liberty is the reason God made the universe. He wanted somewhere one creature capable of recognizing that He had made all things, that the creation is good, and that He had extended his hand in friendship. He wanted at least one creature to be able, not as a slave but as a free woman or a free man, to reciprocate his proffered friendship. That, in a nutshell, is what Judaism is, and what Christianity is. (Christianity, of course, played an historical role in making the God of Judaism known universally.)
The members of Congress on July 2, 1776, were about to make themselves liable to the charge of treason and to humiliate their children into the nth generation for being the descendants of traitors. They needed that reference to their Judge in the Declaration. And they wanted that reference to Providence, to declare that God is on the side of Liberty, and those who trust in liberty will therefore prevail. Whatever the odds, Providence will see to it that they prevail.
Let me recall, from one of the old American hymns, words that reflect exactly this biblical vision. This world didn’t just “happen,” it was created. It was created for a purpose, and that purpose is liberty:
Our fathers God! To Thee,
Author of liberty,
To Thee we sing.
Long may our land be bright
With freedom’s holy light;
Protect us by Thy might,
Great God our king.
A typical sentiment of the American people then, and even now.
I’ve mentioned that though some historians say they were deists, the early Americans who believed that the lifting of the fog on Long Island was an act of God, were not deists. Their god was not a “watchmaker God,” who winds the universe up and lets it go. Their god was a God who cares about contingent affairs, loves particular nations, is interested in particular peoples and particular circumstances. Their god was the God of Judaism, the God of Providence. Not a swallow falls in the field but this God knows of it. His action is in the details.
The Logic of FaithThe Third Article of the Constitution of Massachusetts:
As the happiness of a people and the good order and preservation of civil government essentially depend upon piety, religion, and morality, and as these cannot be generally diffused through a community but by the institution of the public worship of God and of public instructions in piety, religion, and morality: Therefore, To promote their happiness and to secure the good order and preservation of their government, the people of this commonwealth have a right to invest their legislature with power to authorize and require, and the legislature shall, from time to time, authorize and require, the several towns, parishes, precincts, and other bodies-politic or religious societies to make suitable provision, at their own expense, for the institution of the public worship of God and for the support and maintenance of public Protestant teachers of piety, religion, and morality in all cases where such provision shall not be made voluntarily.
When this article was attacked as an infringement on religious liberty, John Adams replied, in effect, “Not at all, you don’t have to believe it. But if you want the good order that comes from instruction in religion, particularly the Jewish and Christian religion, then you have to pay for it.” That’s not the way we think today, I hastily add, but this is the sort of logic our Founders used. Let us walk through the three crucial steps of this logic, one by one.
Right at the beginning of The Federalist, in the second paragraph, the author says this generation of Americans is called upon to decide for all time whether governments can be formed “through reflection and choice” or must “forever be formed through accident and force.” That’s what the Americans were called upon to decide: whether a government may be formed through reflection and choice.
They then faced the question: How do you institutionalize such a decision? By calling a Constitutional Convention and then having the agreed-upon text ratified in a manner that permits the whole people to participate in the decision. Can there be enough votes for something like that? Can people put aside their regional prejudices? Can they put aside their personal ambitions? Can they think about what’s good for the long run? For posterity? That’s what The Federalist tries to elicit—a long-range view, not what people feel at the moment.
Remember the ambitions of that moment. Many New Yorkers wanted New York to be a separate nation. (The early maps of New York go all the way out to the Pacific Ocean–it’s not called “the Empire State” for nothing.) If New York becomes a separate state, it will have its own secretary of state, its own commander in chief, its own secretary of the treasury; distinguished families in New York will become ambassadors to the Court of St. James and to Paris and so forth. Such a dream might seem very attractive to some leading families, but would it be good for the country? If New York were to vote to become an independent nation, there could be no union between New England and the South. Reflection and choice were, then, the hinges of liberty. What Americans meant by liberty are those acts that are made from reflection and choice. The acts that we commit ourselves to when we have reflected on the alternatives and when we understand the consequences. That’s freedom.
What you do by impulse, by contrast, is not freedom; that’s slavery to your impulses. Such slavery is what the animals live under. They’re hungry; they need to eat. That’s not freedom; it’s animal instinct.
Freedom is not doing what you want to do; freedom is doing what, after reflection, you know you ought to do. That’s what freedom is, and that’s why early American thought has been summed up thus: “Confirm thy soul in self-control, Thy liberty in law.” Freedom springs from self-government, after reflection and calm deliberate choice.
The second step in the argument is this: To have reflection and choice, you need people with enough virtue to have command of their passions. You need people, that is, with the habits that allow them to reflect, to take time to be dispassionate, to see consequences clearly, and then to make a choice based upon commitment. None of us act that way all the time. But we do aspire to have at least sufficient virtue to live responsibly. For how can a people unable to govern their passions in their private lives possibly be able to practice self-government in their public lives? It doesn’t compute. In short, freedom in a republic is not feasible without virtue in a republic.
Next, the third step. George Washington said in his Farewell Address that most people are not going to have virtue or good habits in the long run without religion. And what he meant by that can be recited very simply. As Jews and Christians understand it, religion is not just a cold law; it is a relationship with a person. A person who knows even your secret thoughts. So religion adds a personal motive to the idea of virtue. In addition to that, this Judge sees you even when you’re alone, even when you’re in secret, even when the doors are closed. This is a Judge who knows whether or not you paint the bottom of the chair. Republics depend on virtue that holds up under such tests. The founding generation used the example of the well-known doctor in Massachusetts who, having been involved in an adultery, turned out also to be a British spy. This was a lesson they often referred to. A man who thinks he can get away with things in secret is not reliable for a republic. A republic cannot be made up of people who think they can do in secret what they wouldn’t do in public. Jefferson wrote a very touching letter to this effect.[1]
This is why the Founders thought that whatever may be said of persons of “peculiar character,” as Washington said (some scholars think he’s referring to Jefferson), we must not believe that virtue can be maintained in the long run without religion. Our sons are going to forget about the Revolution, the Founders expected; they’re going to forget the suffering we went through. They’re going to forget the frozen feet at Valley Forge and the gangrene and the hunger, the lack of pay and the despair. They’re going to forget all that, and their grandchildren are going to be tired of hearing it. There’s a moral entropy in human affairs, such that even if one generation succeeds in reaching a very high moral level, it’s almost impossible for the next generation and the one after that to maintain it. A republic, therefore, has to fight moral entropy. That’s why there will have to be a series of moral awakenings. The Founders didn’t see how that would happen without religious inspiration, beyond a merely utilitarian impulse.
So there are three principles in this fundamental logic: No republic without liberty; no liberty without virtue; no virtue without religion. Now, doesn’t that sound old-fashioned? In these days, doesn’t it sound hardly tenable? Yet our Founders were right. Is not our present circumstance dangerous to the Republic?
The Choice of Liberty
I first heard this story alluded to in Ronald Reagan’s Inaugural Address. Dr. Joseph Warren, the family doctor of Abigail and John Adams in Boston, was among the first to join the Sons of Liberty and to stand with the men at Lexington. In fact, he was an officer, and he took a bullet through his hair right above his ear, where it left a crease, but he stood his ground. Two months later, Dr. Warren was commissioned as a major general of the Continental Army. It was a great title, but there wasn’t much of an army for the defense of Boston, toward which the British fleet was bringing reinforcements. Dr. Warren learned just four days after he was commissioned that that night the Americans had sent 1,500 men up Bunker Hill. It was one of those still nights when hardly a sound traveled out over the water, where the British fleet was anchored. In the stillness, the troops dug, muffling their shovels, and constructed wooden fortifications, being careful not to strike anything with an axe.
In the morning, the British on board ship awakened to find that Bunker Hill was fortified, and began a five-hour bombardment. Warren heard the bombardment as he was on horseback riding toward Boston, and arrived at Bunker Hill by a back route and managed to climb up into the ranks. He didn’t try to take command; he just went into the ranks, in the front rows.
After the bombardment, some of the British soldiers came on land and put Charlestown to the torch, and tongues of flame from 500 homes, businesses, and churches leapt into the sky. Everything in Charlestown burned. Breathless, Abigail Adams watched from a hilltop to the south. She heard the cannons from the warships bombarding Bunker Hill for five long hours as Joseph Warren rode to his position. The American irregulars proved their discipline that day and the accuracy of huntsmen firing in concentrated bursts. They had only four or five rounds apiece. Twice they broke the forward march of thirty-five hundred British troops with fire so withering they blew away as many as 70 to 90 percent of the foremost companies of Redcoats, who lost that day more than a thousand dead.
Then the ammunition of the Americans ran out. While the bulk of the Continental Army retreated, the last units stayed in their trenches to hold off the British hand-to-hand. That is where Major General Joseph Warren was last seen fighting until a close-range bullet felled him. The British officers had him decapitated and bore his head aloft to General Gage.
Freedom is always the most precarious regime. Even a single generation can throw it all away. Every generation must reflect and must choose. Joseph Warren had earlier told the men of Massachusetts at Lexington:
Our country is in danger now, but not to be despaired of. On you depend the fortunes of America. You are to decide the important questions upon which rest the happiness and the liberty of millions not yet born. Act worthy of yourselves.

I just recently found out about the folks over at Illuminati Pictures and I am impressed more and more by what they are putting out. Forgive the imagery, but it's blood and guts christianity. Not A Rule 5 Blog. Just In Love. Sort Of.

First off, let me just say, "Yes, I'm a complete hypocrite." I am one of those guys that absolutely refuses to write or post a "Rule 5" blog, but then go out and click on every freaking link posted by anyone that comes under a Rule 5 search. Yeah, I get it, I'm shallow and superficial. But normally, I stay in the closet with my Rule 5 maladjustment. However, it came to me tonight that if my wife ever tires of me, I have two new candidates for the next ex-Mrs. Greywolfe.

The first is a new addition over at WND.Com. Her name is DJ Dolce. Sue me, I'm a sucker for comediennes. Especially cute ones, with a slightly gothic look. The fact she's a Christian also works in her favor. To recap: She's cute, funny, and a Christian.... Yeah, I'm sold.

The next girl is a comedienne also, but I must admit, not nearly as cute. But she too gets points for being conservative, so I'll keep her in the running if the afore mentioned tragic ousting of the Greywolfe administration by the alpha female ever happens... Politically Incorrect History: An Update

It has been noted that our Founding Fathers didn't outright ban slavery in the Constitution of the United States, and by that act, showed that they were inconsistent with their stated views of the equality of all men. The arguments stem from an opinion I stated regarding my total dislike for Abraham Lincoln. In fact, I have stated that in my never-to-be-humble opinion, he is the worst president that this nation was ever afflicted by.

I still stand by that opinion. However, I feel that I should, in some manner respond to the criticisms of our Founding Fathers. Many of whom were, in fact, abolitionists. Much ado is made of Jefferson and his "associations" with his slaves. And I agree wholeheartedly that such a situation (above and beyond the slavery issue) is morally reprehensible.

But, I have to come back to the limitations that the framers of the Constitution placed upon the federal government. All power was derived by the people, concentrated in the various states, and granted with EXTREME limitations, to the federal government. The basic rights given to all free men were very nearly universal. For instance, in every former colony, with the exception of South Carolina, free blacks enjoyed the right to vote, and did so in the ratification of the constitution.

People look to the 1965 voting rights act as the turning point for blacks in America, but I'd have to say that it was a turning full circle that occurred. Let me explain, and in order to do that, I have to provide a bit of history (again).

Before the Revolutionary War, Great Britain made abolition of slavery illegal. But afterwards, as free and Sovereign states, each former colony was free to do exactly that, and did. For instance, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, and New York. Additionally, blacks in many early States not only had the right to vote but also the right to hold office. And many states had protections for Black rights written into their constitutions from the outset.

However, even with the limitations that were crafted into our government, the government was not silent and did indeed make moves toward abolition. Such as these shining examples: in 1789 Congress banned slavery in any federally held territory; in 1794, the exportation of slaves from any State was banned; and in 1808, the importation of slaves into any State was also banned. In fact, more progress was made to end slavery and achieve civil rights for blacks in America at that time than was made in any other nation in the world.

It was actually after most of the Founding Fathers died that things started to go wrong, starting with the Missouri Compromise, allowing new slave states to enter the union. Those few Founders that were left alive were extremely clear in their opposition (including the much maligned Jefferson). Elias Boudinot (a president of Congress during the Revolution) warned that this new direction by Congress would bring "an end to the happiness of the United States." A frail John Adams feared that lifting the slavery prohibition would destroy America; and an elderly Thomas Jefferson was appalled at the proposal, declaring, "In the gloomiest moment of the Revolutionary War, I never had any apprehensions equal to what I feel from this source."

The new anti-civil rights feeling in congress was shown further in the passing of Fugitive Slave Law allowing southern slavers to go North and kidnap blacks on the spurious claim that they were runaway slaves and then in passing the Kansas-Nebraska Act, allowing slavery into what is now Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, and Nebraska. It was further reflected in many of the Southern and Mid-Atlantic States. For example, in 1835 North Carolina reversed its policies and limited voting to whites only, as also occurred in Maryland in 1809.

All of the above is information that is regularly missing in education. It is indisputable and therefore I will let it stand on its own as a defense of our Founders. Now, if you haven't already left, I'd like to do a little bit of reflecting on the outcomes of the U.S. Civil War. First, I will grant that in one fell swoop, all blacks in America were emancipated. But what was the cost to the nation of obtaining this "success" by force?

First, and certainly not least, was the destruction of state sovereignty. All socialist and revisionist evil that has been inflicted on America can be laid at the feet of Lincoln's decision to invade the South. Next, look at the civil rights abuses perpetrated on the South during the so-called "reconstruction". In New Orleans for example, by order of the ruling military governor any woman that offended a union soldier may be used as one would a prostitute without her consent. And this type of thing went on all over the south. If you served in the Confederate government you were barred from any public office, outlawing the voice of the people that lived in those states.

In the greatest act of insanity ever committed by our congress, no state that had seceded could be re-admitted into the union, or have a recognized government, until they had ratified the 13th amendment. Although how they were to do this without a "recognized government" is baffling. As is the idea of non-admittance into the union. Lincoln's entire premise for invasion was that the states didn't have the right to secede and considered it to be, instead, rebellion. If they couldn't secede, how could they be outside the union.

Since the 13th Amendment was only ratified by an overtly criminal act (extortion) it is arguable that it is even legally ratified. But that's an entirely different post.

In addition to these glaring abuses, before the civil war, freed blacks and those that were born free (to include Dred Scott. It was an insane northern FEDERAL court that returned him to slavery) could and did get justice in Southern courts. Afterwards, I believe it would be fair to say that the civil rights for ALL blacks in the south took a hit. I would say that a majority of the outright hatred that is experienced between the races today can be laid upon the alter of history with the identified placard reading: "Fruits of the U.S. Civil War". In every state where the natural political forces were allowed to emancipate people of color, they (blacks) were allowed to vote, own property, and even serve elected office.

During the Civil War 620,000 people were killed, and over 100 years of racial animosity and distrust was born. The rights of states to govern themselves was eradicated, and the slide away from our Founders vision started to gain all the momentum of a landslide on a Mountain top.

A good friend here and someone that I have had spirited debates in the past, and will do so again very soon I suspect, said some things on this topic that disturbed me greatly. They said that they felt strongly that you have to fight for what you see as right, even when it is contradicted by law. In this case, it was the prohibitive nature of the very constitution that prevented our founders from taking action. Similarly, this friend believes the end result of emancipation for the slaves, justified the means used, suppression of states rights by force of arms.

The most that my friend is willing to concede on my point is that Lincoln's approach was heavy handed. That's like saying that a bunker buster is a pretty large firecracker.

I want to be clear, I DO NOT CONSIDER THE AUTHOR OF THE ABOVE TO BE A STATIST, but the ends justifies the means has been the argument for nearly every statist move and usurpation of power in recorded history. It is the argument used to withdraw more and more power from the people and place it in the hands of the powerful few.

Just look at the arguments over the Health care debacle, Cap and Tax, amnesty for illegals, global warming/cooling/climate change. They are ALL boiled down to "the ends justify the means." This nation was founded upon the rule of law, granted by the grace of God, through his Son, Jesus. We turned our back on the rule of law during the war between the states and that has led us away from God in our government, education system, public lives, and now we reach the point where it is even under attack in our private lives.

Our Founders were indeed wise men. They created here, a land that wasn't perfect but that had the ability to perfect itself while limiting the oppression that was inherent in ALL governments. We as a people left that path with guns blazing and allowed their dream to become bastardized and prostituted. And there aren't enough of us left, I fear, that are willing to put the mistakes of the last 160 years, and the hatreds that they birthed to bed, and return to the vision our founders had. Unless we do, we will never again be the land of the free, and the home of the brave.

I got into a discussion a couple weeks back with my children concerning presidents and who we thought was the best and worst. When my youngest son asked me who I thought the worst president in history was my oldest responded with a laugh, "It has to be Obama, Dad thinks he's a putz!" (Ah from the mouths of babes.) But alas, I had to dash his absolute faith in his opinion of my political standing. Then I sent their eyebrows into their hair line with my answer...

And now I'm going to do the same here. You see, if I have to pick the absolutely WORST president in history, I have to give that dubious honor to Abraham Lincoln. Yeah, you read that right, "Honest Abe" is the worst person that has ever inhabited the Oval Office. Now, before my friends start trying to tar and feather me, let's look at the reasons that he is so adored.

First, he's given sole credit for ending slavery. Second, he's credited for saving the union. To both of these I have to point out that this is the largest steaming load of bovine scatology that the liberal education system has ever pulled down on our collective heads. And no one has the fruit of the looms to point out the truth: Abraham Lincoln was the epitome of all the things that our Founders left.

So let's take a look at what people would see if they looked past what the liberals in the government run schools pour into our heads when we don't have the brains to look deeper. I'll assault the second horse turd, first. He was a nationalist in that he believed that the federal government's authority took precedence over the states' rights. Second, he destroyed state sovereignty and opened the door for the abuses that the states are now being subjected to by waging an illegal and unconstitutional war against the southern states and completely suppressing and oppressing them into accepting rule by the north. Many of those states had seceded before he came to office. James Buchanan didn't agree that the states had the right to secede but he did rightly believe that the federal government did not have the authority to do anything about it. Lincoln believed that the ends (saving the union) justified the means (illegal war) regardless of the cost.

Next, he's credited for ending slavery. Bull. The fact of the matter is, if he had just let the south go, in roughly the same time frame slavery would have died on it's own by natural forces. Abolitionist groups and sentiments were going through the roof prior to the illegitimately named "civil war". Take the infamous Dred Scott decision. The southern courts had freed him and the northern courts had him put back in chains.

If you take these things into your head and really look at him through this prism, you begin to see Lincoln for what he was, a nationalist despot. And the Congress of the time was run by the Republican version of what we now have in the Dems. Out of control power mad men, hell bent on pushing through their agenda regardless of the cost to the states. Then look at the most famous of his speeches, The Gettysburg Address, the last lines of it were the most hypocritical lines ever written in light of the illegal war and suppression of freedom that he was engaged.

We've had terrible presidents since his death, no doubt about it. But none of them would have been possible were it not for his destruction of state sovereignty, in the first place. He is credited for saving the union but in doing so, he destroyed the freedom that he touted so much in the above mentioned address. And really, which is more precious, our country? Or the freedoms that our country is supposed to protect and nurture?

American Gutcheck: Epic Fail

What is the average American willing to sacrifice to make our nation back away from the present course? I argue that I and those other few like me that the government sees as radicals (I am by the way) are few and far between. I've been taking stock of my life and my fortitude and have asked myself, "What is my Liberty worth? What am I willing to lose in order to force the government back on the path our Founders originally set us on?" I know the answer for myself. Give me a state full of people like myself, and I'll show you a state that the feds and leftists will avoid like the black plague. So would drug dealers, armed robbers, and dead-beats.

Most people think that they're willing to do what's necessary. I beg to disagree. Most, in my never to be humble opinion, are all talk and wind. I'm not going to call anyone out, I'll let you decide for yourself, about yourself. Here's a few examples of what some of the valiant men that signed the Declaration of Independance went through and how much they were willing to sacrifice to gain what we have so cheerfully abandoned.

First off, all 56 signers of the illegal and treasonous Declaration of Independance faced death by hanging for Treason.

Francis Lewis had his home and estate plundered. His wife was captured and brutalized, later dying from the effects of bad treatment.

William Floyd and his family were unable to return to their pillaged home for seven years.

Philip Livingston was forced to leave his family and died alone in 1778.

Lewis Morris and family spent the entire war in exile, their vast estate and fortune destroyed.

"Honest John" Hart left his dying wife and 13 children behind, hiding in caves and forests. Years later he returned to find his wife's grave, his 13 children gone. He died alone, a broken man in 1779.

Richard Stockton was brutally beaten upon capture, and mistreated in prison. He died in 1781 a despondent 51 year-old.

Robert Morris lent his vast fortune and credit to the cause. He died broke in 1806.

William Ellery had his home and property looted.

Thomas Lynch Jr. sought vacation to aid his failing health, dying in a shipwreck.

Thomas Heyward, Edward Rutledge and Arthur Middleton lost their vast fortunes while in prison. Mrs. Heyward died while her husband was imprisoned.

Thomas Nelson Jr., despite failing health, served as a commander in the militia, and spent his personal fortune on the cause. At the battle of Yorktown, he ordered his own home destroyed by cannon fire while it was occupied by the British.

Abraham Clark was notified his two sons were captured and being brutally tortured while in prison. The British offered Clark his two sons freedom if he would renounce his signature on the Declaration of Independence. With a heavy heart he answered, "NO."

Read through that list again. I'm absolutely sure that it isn't a complete list, but I'm equally sure that it is enough to let you know the depth of their character and conviction. What are you willing to give? If it's one iota less than them, I suggest you accept that nothing that is said or written about the bastardization of our republic will change by any act that you do. If you are willing to give everything to restore the tree of liberty, then join with others like yourselves. Organize with like-minded patriots. And prepare for the time when you will be called on to do exactly what our founders did.

Understand me, and I do hope I am wrong, but the evidence of the past is clear, they (Leftists, statists, Marxists, whatever you want to label them) will not allow their time in power to fall flat on its face with a mid-term election. Each cycle, they get more and more sofisticated at voter fraud and intimidation at the polling places. This next November will be worse than the last, I promise you that. And when the dust clears, and the smoke settles, the Courts will back the Leftists and we'll find ourselves with less and less freedom.

And let's pretend for a moment that I am wrong. That the leftists and Marxists will have seen the light and decided to accept a clean vote, shouldn't we all STILL be willing to guard our Freedom and Liberty with absolutely 100% of our fortitude, sagacity, and pertinacity, and in the last defense, with our lives, fortunes, and sacred honor?

Worse Than Death

I'm switching gears a bit today. No rants about the Tyranny that we live under or the idiots in the media that carry the water for our federal chain-holders. Today, I want to talk about a life lesson I learned just recently. At the age of 39, I am finding that there are indeed worse things in life than to have taken the path I did.

A very few weeks ago, I took part of my family to the movies to see a couple of flicks. After mine was over, I and my wife were waiting in the lobby for my children's movie to get out. They watched Avatar, by themselves because I wouldn't. Yet another tree-hugger movie full of liberal propaganda. But that's getting off the point and I will not allow myself to indulge in that tangent right now.

At any rate, my wife and I are waiting on the rug-rats when my uncle walks by. I didn't recognize him because it had been 20 years since I'd really seen him last. My mother's funeral not included. I honestly don't remember much about that day, I was still 3/4ths insane at the time. At any rate, my wife pointed him out to me and I followed him outside.

He broke my heart. He and my mother were not terribly close. He traveled a lot working for the Customs Dept. and there was some bad blood from way back that I never did get a straight answer from my mother about, before she died. While we talked, the surprise and gratitude that he showed me stunned me. I am left at a loss for words to describe the hunger for a relationship that I felt radiating from him. I felt then, that there were a huge number of regrets in his life that were weighing on him.

This morning furthered that belief immensely. I met him as I was getting some items from a local parts store for my truck. He came in and I struck up a conversation again. He seems to be genuinely over-joyed each time I take the time to speak to him. He said that he had some pictures that he dug out after my last conversation with him and he wanted to give them to me. When I told him that I'd love to come over to get them, he said that he was looking forward to the opportunity to have a joyous occasion.

Merely my wanting to come to his house and go through old pictures was a "joyous occasion". Stunned doesn't even come close. After he gave me his number and I entered mine into his cell phone for him, I turned to leave and he apologized for taking up my time. I turned fully back to him and said, "Uncle, you are never going to be taking up my time, we're family." He lost it and started crying. " I really hope we can make it so." I told him that as far as I was concerned it already was.

He was still trying to get himself under control when I left. To reach old age and look back and see the chains of bad decisions and regrets for opportunities lost must be horrendous. Their weight must be oppressive to the point of despair. There are truly worse things than death. I think that my mother's brother envies her some days.

I will try to add some bright spots to my uncles life, and to inject my family into his at every opportunity I can get. And I will pray that he learns to forgive himself.

Blogging Rant For The New Year

Well, it's been a Hell of a year end. My wife lost her mother and I started a new job after spending almost 5 months out of work thanks to my company going under. But that's old hat, so I won't be writing about that. Instead, I want to write about some of the things that are pissing me off the most right now. Conservatives.

Oh, that made some eye brows go up. Yes, conservatives are pissing me off, right now. Actually, they have been since the march on Washington this summer. It should have become apparent then that no amount of talking, phoning our congressmen or senators, or letter writing and demonstrations were going to do any good. Hell, check my posts for last April and I told you then that it wouldn't work. I've said this before, when a people loses their ability to have their voices heard they have to get their government's attention. There is a natural progression for this and I've run through that too. But the conservatives in this country seem to have lost their nerve. They called and wrote letters. They went to tea party rallies. They even squirled up the courage for the largest, and as far as I can tell, first conservative march on Washington, D.C.

And what did they have to show for all of it? Exactly nothing. They were ignored by those in power and those that carry their water. Not once have I heard a 9/12 group or Tea Party group talk about marching on the capitol building with intention of shutting it down. Or even to have a mass show of PEACEFUL force, by having everyone that went to the march on D.C. repeat it with a loaded dear rifle slung on their back. Loaded but not brandished. Nothing to get the point across. Now we are coming into the next election cycle and the optimism that I am reading from politically right wing blogs on the chances of taking the congress back is really starting to irritate me for its simplistic views.

Do I expect the GOP to pick up a few house seats and even bust the 60 vote majority of the Senate? Sure. Mid-term elections always go bad for the party in power. Will that allow the Republicans to remove what the Leftist have done? Of course not. Any bill that was put through to Barry would be summarily vetoed and no way could a 3/4ths majority be mustered to over-ride the veto. So, we and our future generations are still screwed.

And that's assuming that you expect the Libs to fight fair and actually let the voting process take a natural course. Every year the Leftists get better and better at rigging elections and perfecting how to get away with it. I would like to point out that the Black Panthers that tried to bully one precinct with weapons, was never prosecuted by the Federal or state governments. In November, we can expect much more of the same. And yet, I've not heard of one organization that has any plans to do more than roll over for it the way they did for that ass-hat comedian (alleged. Personally I've never laughed at a single one of his jokes) in the Senate.

We have lost that fire in our belly that told us we were a free people and that we would place that above our lives, our comforts, and our petty concerns for personal gain. We think that because we've marched and called and written letters, that these people are going to respect us and our opinion enough to turn around? Face the facts folks. The whole damned playhouse is busted. According to the Declaration of Independence, when a government has become tyrannical, it is the DUTY and OBLIGATION of the People to throw down that government and remake it to preserve our GOD-GIVEN rights.

At some point in the recent past, I have gone through a metamorphosis of a sort. I am still a patriot, I love this country. But I no longer hold any love or affection for the government in power. It is a bastardized half-image of what our Founders wanted. It must be remade. So, my prayers have changed from a returning of our government to the founders path, to a prayer for dissolving of the union through secession and a remaking of it. A Much more bloody path to be sure, but one that will ultimately be more effective at renewing the tree of liberty.

Thanksgiving And Other Things

I tried for days to think of what I would like to have written about concerning Thanksgiving without ever catching on that one thing that no other blogs had written about. Most of the conservative blogs I visited spoke to our thanks to God for this great (if declining) nation and the opportunities our families and ourselves have enjoyed. I've seen blogs give thanks (deservedly so) for our troops that continue to put themselves in harms way. And not a few have tried to remind us that our families are our greatest blessings and should be cherished.

All true. I don't want to merely blog here and regurgitate the same old lines and topics that others spout. That has never been what this blog was supposed to be. So, here is what I came to in addition to what others have rightly posted.

I am thankful for my God, Country, Family, and Friends. I am thankful for those that have come and gone home before me. There will come a time in the future, and not so distant a future at that, that I will leave the fights and struggles of this world and assume room temperature, finishing my race finally taking my rest. I am truly thankful for that assurance, granted to me by grace. I'm thankful that I didn't have to try to earn it, but only accept the Truth and bend my knee with humility. My Lord takes care of the rest.

I was brought to this topic because today is a special day to me. Five years ago , I set down with my mother for our last Thanksgiving meal together. Afterwards, I took her to the Hospital and they admitted her with pneumonia. Three days later, five years ago today, she passed away. I miss her terribly and will all of my days. But I envy her, also. She was the very picture perfect example of redemption through grace.

I went to her gravesite today, and was struck by the fact that it was empty. Somehow that just didn't seem right, so I went and bought a candle and roses to put at her grave. Don't know how the fire marshal will feel about me leaving an open flame burning out there, but I wanted to shine a light for her. She placed a permanant light in my heart and in all those that knew her. She wasn't perfect by human standards, but she had an overwhelming love for Christ, and also for her family. I miss her with a desperation that feels like an open wound. But I wouldn't bring her back to this old world of pain for any price.

My Thoughts On Recent Events

As I was looking back over the news of the last week, I can honestly say that there isn't one thing that I've read or listened to that I find even remotely surprising. I've been on the record many times both here and on other sites as saying that the push to further socialize medicine wouldn't stop. Even when, back in August, many were shouting that we'd beaten them and that the Dems were in full retreat. I said then that they weren't retreating, they were just slowing to give that impression. Here we are a mere 3 months later and just as I said then, there is steady progress towards the socialization of 1/5 of the American economy.

The fact is, there is nothing that the American public is willing to do to stop this from happening. Oh, many of my fellow conservatives are religious about blogging, writing their congressmen and senators, and even some have taken the unprecedented effort to actually march on Washington, D.C. or in a local Tea Party. Very nice, what have you got to show for your continued efforts and outlay of money? Silence is truly deafening.

Here's the facts as I see it. The socialists who hold power are in a very unique position. They hold Congress, the Presidency, and have the support of an activist Judiciary. They know that if they don't push with everything they have, there is no way that they will get the opportunity in the future. They know that they must continue to make progress to get at least one of their three planks of their socialist agenda passed.

If they do get this boondoggle through (and of course they will) then from this point forward you can expect further erosion of the freedoms that we have long taken for granted. The government has already taken to strong arming private company CEO's and private bond holders. As well as seizing private industries and nationalizing them. I cannot see anything that they would stop at doing if it kept their agenda moving forward.

Some of you are at this point asking what my point is. Simple, stop doing what doesn't work. Start refocusing your efforts on your state's government. For instance, the right of Nullification is probably not even being taught to our children. We need to educate our leaders and push for nullification movements across the nation. Also, the right of secession should be spoken out loud in public forums as much as possible. Every state has that right and the time is coming to educate and support those factions in our states.

I have also noticed, now and in the past, that many of you are looking to the next elections to fix whatever they do now. To this line of thought I'll just point out 2 things. First, I challenge anyone to come up with one socialist program that has ever been voted out by an incoming opposition party. Can't come up with one? Exactly. And secondly, do you really think that the Dems and their lackeys are going to allow fair elections? Each cycle they come closer to perfecting their means of stealing elections.

Lastly I will say this and then call it a night. I and others from my area are in the process of forming a local militia group for education and training for what must come. Our nation must remember what it meant to be an American back when we were in our youth as a nation. We must find that conviction, strength, and vigor and use it to retake our nation from the vipers that have usurped power they have no rights to wield. No longer will mere talking be useful as a means of coercing the enemies of Liberty. Civil disobedience is the next step followed closely by armed uprising.

That is the nature of the times in which we live. Each of you must make a decision: Either submit and remain quiet while our nation becomes the next socialist oligarchy or prepare for actions that will brand all patriots as extremists, criminals, and traitors. To either go quietly into that long night that all other great societies have finally gone, or be prepared to take a stand regardless of the cost.

Find or found a local militia. Train for war and educate on the foundations of this nation. Give them the tools to engage in debate as well as the martial knowledge needed to defend one's freedom and life. But decide and do it quickly.

Update On The New Job

Well, as I remember, I said that I'd be back to posting in five short days. That was over 3 weeks ago. So, here's the skinny on my new position. I've taken a job for a local company as a truck driver. Any idea I may have entertained that this would be a 40 hour, 5 day a week job, was brutally slaughtered by the end of my 2nd day out on the road.

In my first two weeks on the job I logged over 5600 miles. So that's the reason I haven't been on. The 1 day that I was off during my first 2 weeks, I slept most of it. It appears that 3 months out of a truck has made me a bit soft.

Anyways, for those that have asked, yes I'm still here. And yes, I am still watching and noting what's going on in the news. More on that in the next post. The long and the short of it is this, the lives and livelihood of the Ent household are secure once again.

It's been just under a month since my last post. I've received several comments and emails asking if everything is good and when I'll post again. To those of my conservative friends that have asked, I would like to just say thank you. And now for the reason for the hiatus. I am so sick and tired of conservatives that just want to keep whining about our government. They send in mail and emails, or make phone calls to senators and representatives that give lip service and then do just the opposite for the sake of being "bi-partisan".

I am inundated with emails about tea parties and protest marches outside of media outlets. I am sent notices of email and mail campaigns designed to sway someone in D.C. to our point of view. The people that send me this crap on a stick can please just stop. You have tried it over the last 10 months. Millions took to the streets in tea party protests and over 1.5 million descended on D.C. in the largest peaceful march in my memory. Liberal law makers were sent into hiding during the August recess because they couldn't face their constituents. What do you have to show for the time, effort, and money spent on all of the above activities?

Way back when the first tea parties took off last Apr. 15th, I said that the government was going to ignore us and hope that we faded away as they normally do. I said, and was later proven right, that they wouldn't take us seriously. April went away and people planned for the 4th of July. That, too, went off like a cannon, and still the Mainstream media and the Federal government ignored us. Thousands of Tea Parties had taken place in hundreds of cities and our leaders just yawned and called us racists and Nazis. Millions took part in Tea Parties the day the Conservatives descended on D.C. and the President holds a pep-rally the same day 3/4 of the country away and declares that he will not be stopped.

And still, we plan new demonstrations. Still, we send in letters in the mail and on email decrying the actions of our government. And nothing happens. Oh the government has slowed somewhat on their mad rush to 1930's Germany, but they are bound and determined to take us there, by hook or crook. And still we plan tea parties for NEXT YEAR!

Dear God in heaven, give me strength. I am sick of it. I've got a friend in AA that says that one form of insanity is to do the same thing over and over and expect a different reaction each time. Well, my friends, I've come to the conclusion that we are either cowards, or we're insane. We as a people, have gone as far as we're prepared to go. The problem is that the Dems understand this and aren't going to stop. I told you after the big protests that they may slow down but that they weren't going to stop. Not with Government health care or with Cap and Trade. Work continues on both, regardless of the fact that the majority of America is against it.

As I have said many times in the past, both here and on other blogs that I frequent, there is a natural progress that must be maintained if a people wish to have their will enforced by the government. Phone and mail campaigns, public demonstration and then into civil disobedience. If all of those are ignored then it becomes necessary for the people of the U.S.A. to rise up and reset this nation back to its original intent. It is time for us to move into civil disobedience and prepare for the uprising. Everything that has come to pass has been ignored. We have two choices at this point: First, we can except that we have lost and go back to our lives and let what is coming, come... Or we can prepare to have 2 million people descend on D.C. again with whatever weapons they own, loaded and slung on their shoulder in a peaceful show of force. And refuse to leave. Period. This will force the government to either change their direction or (and I admit this is much more likely) force them to escalate to the level of open armed conflict.

We should prefer the former but be ready and willing for the latter. The reason for my dissatisfaction is that I hear way too many people say they are ready for the eventuality of conflict but they are unwilling to do as our forefathers did and force the issue with civil disobedience. People have become comfortable in their little social groups and have ceased to move forward towards the goal of retaking the seats of power and installing a regime with the original intent of our Founders in mind.

If you are not willing to escalate this fight for our nations future, then please shut up and get out of the way of those that are willing to. Let me quote something for you, and you tell me if it isn't descriptive of our current state of affairs.

Red Flags, Flashing Lights, Alarms, Alarms, Alarms

Folks I don't know if you are as concerned about the reduction of freedoms that have been taking place in America as I am. Likewise, I don't know whether you've connected the dots, seen the patterns, or however you want to say it concerning the "shadow government" that has taken roots in our country and how it is poised to take away liberty completely under the guise of "security", but if you haven't I envite you to visit/re-visit my post on this topic called "The Great Conspiracy".

Now if you don't mind, I'd like to add another piece to the puzzle, if I may. In "The great Conspiracy" I asked you to see our government in, quite possibly, a new way. To look at the long term policies and plans that have taken shape, by design, to erase the Liberties and Freedoms that we enjoy and replace it with a totalitarian regime. I showed you what tools were in place to accomplish that aim, as well as a list of things that could set it off.

There were those that I spoke to on the phone and in email, as well as a few commentors that claimed I was over reacting. Some, I decided to not even post as they really didn't add anything to the discussion. Others claimed that the military would never assist in such an endeavor so there would be no way for the government to pull it off. My response to that is two-fold, there have always been those in the military that see themselves as servants of the President and their chain of command. They MUST follow lawful orders. A takeover of the country laid out as it was by law and executive order is "legal" therefore many in the military WILL follow those orders. Others will do so because they are liberal in thier thinking and believe as other leftists do. But even if you believe that the military will be degraded in their ability to supress the population of America, keep in mind that Barry is planning a "civilian security force" that is "just as well funded" and "just as powerful" as the military.

Which brings me around to the real topic of today's post. Thanks to my friends at Radarsite for posting this video. It is, in my never to be humble opinion, the next phase in the government's plans. The creation of Barry's "civilian security force" is taking shape.

Good morning folks. Look, it's no secret, if you've been to my site more than once or twice, that I believe that there is a fight brewing in this nation. It will be a fight between those that love their liberty and those that wish to impose government rule on everything we do. It will be a fight based on radical differences in ideology that are not or should not be compromised.

This could be the first real civil war that our nation has seen. The unpleasantness of the 1860's was not a civil war, by definition. The fight that is coming, will truly be just that. So, aside from going out and getting weapons training, there are other things that you can, and indeed, must do if you are going to survive. The first and best way is to learn to defend yourself.

Here is a video I recently found that will give some good ideas. The reason that I'm putting these on here is because of the potentially brutal responses to a dangerous situation. The person that attacks you will not be merciful, respond in kind.

A caveat: This is just one method, the methods shown have potential flaws, as do all forms of self defense. Think of ways that your opponent might try to counter these moves and adapt accordingly. Also, if you don't feel that these are right for you, please feel free to find other alternatives. But find them and learn them. Practice them often. Only by practicing with a sparring partner can these lessons be made instinctive. Watching something like this once and then doing nothing with it, will profit you nothing. Enjoy.

My Lapse In Judgement: Pat Dollard

Generally speaking, I like to think of myself as a reasonable judge of character. Look back on my posts over the last year concerning our alleged President, and you will see that I've never missed the mark by far about him. However, this past 9 months or so, I've been guilty of a glaring misjudgement concerning an up and coming political movement. ACCDF. First, let me say this, 99% of the people that are in ACCDF are true patriots. They are from every walk of life and every nationality. The things that they all have in common is a genuine love for their country and a genuine fear that all that they hold dear is being destroyed by the radical revolutionaries in power.

Here is where my lapse in judgement comes in to play. I disregarded my still soft voice in regards to Pat Dollard himself. I went to his website (I forget now how I was referred there) and listened to his Internet broadcast. He was crude and vulgar and dropped expletives like rain water from a drain spout. I put that aside as I read his self-bio on his site. I figured it was just part of what he picked up while he was embedded with the Marines. Later, I found out that it was always this way with him. By then I had met others from ACCDF and found many of like mind. Also, Pat offered me a position on Patdollard.com (I won't provide active links to his site, sorry) as a salaried contributor.

Well, as a small town blogger, I was amazed, and I admit, flattered at the offer to be part of his website. His site gets thousands of hits a week (due mostly to his unfinished pro-military documentary) and I saw an opportunity to broaden my readership base. Unfortunately for me, and for those that have come here and (may) respect my views, I didn't do my due diligence before agreeing to work with Pat Dollard.

It didn't take long for me to find character flaws in Pat Dollard that I couldn't ignore. Soon after I joined his organization, he dropped off the radar completely for weeks at a time. No communication, no nothing. Then he comes back with a very vague story and picks up like nothing ever happened. This happened again this August. Only this time, not only did he disappear, we (accdf.com and patdollard.com) were both shut down for 3 days, and no one could reach him. Also, he had stopped paying me for my time that I had put in. He had offered to pay me $300. per week to work on the site, and at first all was going well. Then, he payed me $100 early on my second check and only gave promises in lieu of payment for the remainder of that and the two weeks following. That is when I stopped updating or writing for Pat. To this day, he has not paid me the $800 that he owed me before I stopped updating the site.

Recently, there has been a shake up in his ACCDF organization. Some of his leadership sent an email out to other state leaders and to Pat about the inaction of ACCDF and tried to offer ways to make it (ACCDF) work more efficiently. Long story short, it flew like a lead balloon and several of his leaders were put out of the organization. Granted, the toys belong to pat so he can kick you out of his sandbox if you don't play like he wants, but it furthered my belief that something was wrong with Pat's character on the most basic level.

So far, everything I've told you has been anecdotal at best. But just a few minutes ago, I was given a link to a Vanity Fair article that re-enforces my position on Pat and his intentions. He, unlike the rank and file of ACCDF, is not motivated by some overwhelming sense of honor and obligation where our Republic is concerned. Rather, he is obsessed with being back on top and running the show. To be a mover and shaker and to compete with his "best friend" Andrew Breitbart, of Breitbart.com. So far, the only thing that seems to be getting in the way is his own self-destructive personality flaws.

Read this for yourself, it's long, very long, but you'll have a very in depth look at what and who Pat Dollard really is. The title is "Rogue Agent: Pat's War On Hollywood" and I don't think there's a better bio of him or a more revealing look at the personality of a megalomaniacal manic-depressive than this article.

A Blogger's Call To Arms

Last year, when I started getting serious about blogging and writing about the news, a point that I've always known at some level came crashing home to me. It was lengths and depths that the corrupt media will go to push the most radical of socialist agendas. They malign, distort, and try to destroy any media that comes against them.

Many times, i've talked with other bloggers and had them share with me their frustration at the inability that we conservative bloggers or even citizens that don't blog have in getting news with an honest and purposeful showing of the reality behind the prepackaged news.

There are several alternative news sites out there, such as Breitbart.com and PJTV.com. These are very good, but I think we need something else. What i'm looking to create, with the help of you my blogging friends, is a site, a little different than the others.

I want hard hitting news told from the true conservative's point of view. The honest to God unmitigated truth, related with the point of view of how it would combine with a Founding Father-type world view. I would also like writers that can do satire and humor, also from a conservative point of view. I want someplace that will draw fellow patriots for education, edification, and Entertainment.

I have been to and frequent many of my fellow blogger's sites, and I see every day the original takes and points of view from so many of my fellow patriots. Points of view and opinions or analysis that comes from a direction that I hadn't considered. Also, many of the best of you have sources of news and information that I have not had the time to find and utilize. Also, it would be hard for me to have time to find all the news and report on it myself. As it is for all of you.

So, here's my call to arms. In order to convince the undecide which is the correct path back to greatness for our country, we must win our fellow Americans back to the Truth. This requires us to fight propaganda with propaganda. The difference being the site that I envision will be dedicated to the truth and to our nation's history of Freedom and Liberty, granted by God, and affirmed through the Declaration of Independance and the Constitution of the united states.

So, I would like for those that are interested in joining such an endeavor to contact me. Texas Governor Sends Rangers To Mexico Border

HOUSTON - Special teams of Texas Rangers will be deployed to the Texas-Mexico border to deal with increasing violence because the federal government has failed to address growing problems there, Gov. Rick Perry said Thursday.

"It is an expansive effort with the Rangers playing a more high-profile role than they've ever played before," Perry said of the Department of Public Safety's elite investigative unit.

The forces, dubbed "Ranger recon" teams, are the latest effort "to fill the gap that's been left by the federal government's ongoing failure to adequately secure our international border with Mexico," he said.

The governor early this year asked Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano for 1,000 National Guard troops and renewed his call last month in a letter to President Barack Obama. The request is bogged down over who will pay for the troops and how they will be deployed.

'Boots on the ground'
Perry's announcement Thursday comes amid increasing border violence, particularly in El Paso, mostly involving people with ties to Mexican drug gangs.

"They'll be deployed to high-traffic, high-crime areas along the border," he said. "They'll give us boots on the ground, put people in these hot spots no matter what or where they may exist."

Perry said the effort also would focus on remote areas where farmers and ranchers have complained of being overrun by smugglers and gangs from Mexico in numbers that also overwhelm local law enforcement and border patrol officers.

"Washington is shortchanging them, not giving them the support they need," Perry said. "As a result, we're having to dedicate our resources to deal with the challenges we have along the Texas-Mexico border and ensuing issues that porous border has created all across state of Texas."

He said the state would pick up the tab of $110 million, allocated by the Legislature in the past two sessions.

Perry's announcement drew immediate criticism from U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, who is running against the two-term incumbent in the March GOP primary.

"Today's announcement is yet another empty election-year promise from Rick Perry on border security," Hutchison spokesman Joe Pounder said.

All day, I flipped from Fox News to MSNBC and ABC and then over to CNN and back again. I must admit that I will always regret not being able to attend that protest rally. The reasons for which I may go into at length, at some point in the future. But this day is not about my problems. Rather it is about the incredible spectacle in Washington D.C. today.

I was overjoyed at the pictures coming from Fox News and the positive note the coverage was using to pass the word. At the same time, I must admit that the other networks didn't really disappoint either. I flipped over to MSNBC just in time to hear the info-babe ask the reporter on site if there had been any rowdiness that resulted in any arrests. He was very honest in his reporting despite the info-babes attempts to lead the story down a false trail. He maintained that it was spirited but lawful. Even jubilant at times.

I will say that when CNN tried to cover the march and try to tie in Joe Wilson she was drowned out with chants of "Tell The Truth" and "Glenn Beck" and "No More Lies". At the very end she asks the crowd their opinion of Rep. Wilson and got a thunderous approval in return. Apparently, the coverage that CNN has given tea party protesters in the past has left a lasting bad taste in their mouths.

The fact that so many folks from every walk of life took time and money out from their busy life to gather and march with the intention of taking our nation back says a lot for the level of commitment present in America today. That is the good news. I am, unfortunately, here to post the truth that is starting to come to light about the affect that this march that totaled anywhere from 1.7 to 2 million people is actually having on our government.

First, I think it is important to note that the alleged president took the opportunity to get as far away from D.C. as possible to hold his own taxpayer funded event to attempt to counter the D.C. protest march. And from the parts of it that I watched, put himself in dead on opposition to everything the people at that march was saying.

9/11 My Tribute

This morning I am watching Fox News' coverage of the horrid attacks that we survived on Sept. 11, 2001. I am trying to write this through tear filled eyes as I listen to them recount the names of the casualties of the World Trade Center attack. Every year, I've tried very hard to remember this day, to never make it just another day. Once again, I will try to do honor to those that died and those that willingly sacrificed themselves in a Pennsilvania field to keep the terrorists from succeeding in another attack. God bless those patriotic warriors that retook flight 93 and crashed it in an open field instead of the Whitehouse as was thought to be the planned target.

As I relive in my mind the thoughts and emotions that I felt, I am forced to look at the state of America and the changes that have taken place in our society since that day. I am trying very hard to keep my anger in check for those that have willingly forgotten these sacrifices. We must always be mindful that we have enemies that hate us and want to attack us for no other reason than that we live a life that they can only dream of. They harbor venom and bile in their hearts and will strike out at us. These must be hunted, they must be found, confronted, and finally destroyed. We must be true to those that have gone before and given their all.

I would like to bring it home to you, my friends that we must renew our resolve to destroy those that would mean us harm. We must resolve ourselves to support those troops and members of our intelligence community that have kept us from further attacks over the last 8 years. We owe them a debt that we cannot repay. Let us not take them for granted and let us not persecute those who have done that which had to be done to keep us from more death here and abroad.

Yet Another Reason I Love Sarah Palin

"After all the rhetoric is put aside, one principle ran through President Obama’s speech tonight: that increased government involvement in health care can solve its problems.

Many Americans fundamentally disagree with this idea. We know from long experience that the creation of a massive new bureaucracy will not provide us with “more stability and security,” but just the opposite. It's hard to believe the President when he says that this time he and his team of bureaucrats have finally figured out how to do things right if only we’ll take them at their word.

Our objections to the Democrats’ health care proposals are not mere “bickering” or “games.” They are not an attempt to “score short term political points.” And it’s hard to listen to the President lecture us not to use “scare tactics” when in the next breath he says that “more will die” if his proposals do not pass.

In his speech the President directly responded to concerns I’ve raised about unelected bureaucrats being given power to make decisions affecting life or death health care matters. He called these concerns “bogus,” “irresponsible,” and “a lie” -- so much for civility. After all the name-calling, though, what he did not do is respond to the arguments we’ve made, arguments even some of his own supporters have agreed have merit.

In fact, after promising to “make sure that no government bureaucrat .... gets between you and the health care you need,” the President repeated his call for an Independent Medicare Advisory Council -- an unelected, largely unaccountable group of bureaucrats charged with containing Medicare costs. He did not disavow his own statement that such a group, working outside of “normal political channels,” should guide decisions regarding that “huge driver of cost ... the chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives....” He did not disavow the statements of his health care advisor, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, and continuing to pay his salary with taxpayer dollars proves a commitment to his beliefs. The President can keep making unsupported assertions, but until he directly responds to the arguments I’ve made, I’m going to call him out too.

It was heartening to hear the President finally recognize that tort reform is an important part of any solution. But this concession shouldn’t lead us to take our eye off the ball: the Democrats’ proposals will not reduce costs, and they will not deliver better health care. It’s this kind of “healthy skepticism of government” that truly reflects a “concern and regard for the plight of others.” We can’t wait to hear the details on that; we look forward to working with you on tort reform.

Finally, President Obama delivered an offhand applause line tonight about the cost of the War on Terror. As we approach the anniversary of the September 11th attacks and honor those who died that day and those who have died since in the War on Terror, in order to secure our freedoms, we need to remember their sacrifices and not demonize them as having had too high a price tag.

Remember, Mr. President, elected officials work for the people. Forcing a conclusion in order to claim a “victory” is not healthy for our country. We hear you say government isn’t always the answer; now hear us -- that’s what we’ve been saying all along.

Barry's Speech To Congress: Here's the 'I Told You So'

I wasn't home for the live airing of Barry's speech so I had to wait until my wife and children went to sleep so that they wouldn't drown out the speech with loud and long suffering sighs and fingernail tapping. My family is probably the most apolitical group that one could ever hope to find. They nearly break out in hives when I sign on to my blogger account. So I waited until the time was right and was rewarded for my patience with one of the largest vindications for my cynical point of view towards Congress and this Usurper possible.

A point or two about Barry. He never actually comes out and lies directly. For instance, when he starts talking up the points for his socialized health care plan, he states "nothing in our plan requires you to change what you have." And from what I understand of the options currently on the table, he is technically correct. Except for the law of unintended consequences. Or in this case, wholly intended but entirely hidden from view. You see, as he stated later, public companies CAN NOT compete with a Socialist option, because it will have the financial backing of the Federal tax base. Even if you want to give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he has genuinely good intentions to follow through with his promise to not raise the deficit, the plan he has to pay for this thing, is going to cause almost as much trouble.

In addition to taxing businesses to help pay for this, he mentioned the tax breaks for the wealthy from the last administration twice. At one point he says, "Part of the reason I faced a trillion dollar deficit when I walked in the door of the White House is because too many initiatives over the last decade were not paid for – from the Iraq War to tax breaks for the wealthy. I will not make that same mistake with health care. This is an open admission that he intends to jack up the tax rate on those Americans that are the most productive. Keep in mind that most small businesses pay taxes on individual tax rates. He raises taxes and it will slam the job producers.

At another place in the speech he makes a very chilling set of statements. "...under my plan, individuals will be required to carry basic health insurance – just as most states require you to carry auto insurance. Likewise, businesses will be required to either offer their workers health care, or chip in to help cover the cost of their workers."

I found this chilling because it is yet one more way that government has found to insinuate itself into our lives. One more area where freedom and self reliance is eroded. How much of this is America going to take? I've been telling anyone that will sit still long enough to listen that they were going to ram this down our throats. Looks like I was right. Here it comes.

Barry and his Statists have complete bastardised the entire meaning of our Constitution and its limitations. They see the only limits to Federal power as the limits of their own social enginuity. Barry quoted Dead Ted's letter saying that this reform was a matter of "social justice". Leftist speak for wealth redistribution. God help us, when this goes through, we're done. Our economy will not bear up to the government dipping its fingers into 1/5th of the national economy without tanking.

Wake up America! This IS a call to arms. It's time and past time that we Americans made ourselves ready for the fight that is on the horizen. As I have stated time and time again, when a people's voice is suppressed, they must then turn to demonstrations. If those fail, they then have to turn to Civil Disobedience. From there it will get bloody.

We are at the point where civil disobedience is indeed called for. Many friends are going to go to D.C. for a march on the capitol. Damn I wish I could go, but its not to be. The groups that are there should commit to a mass show of civil disobedience. If their are indeed thousands that show up there, then laying a sit in siege to the capitol is something that is very possible and would have good effect.

The best possible outcome is that Congress might (although I doubt it) get the idea and turn from this course. The more likely outcome would be that the Capitol Police would end up shooting someone and thereby escalating this to the last level. It is coming folks. There will be blood. The Leftists have ensured it by their usurpation of the Constitutional powers set aside for the states and the people.

Effective immediately, I am resigning my place as a poster at Patdollard.com. This is due to conflicts between me and Mr. Dollard over non-communications and his repeated disappearances without letting those that serve under him know what is going on for days at a time. That goes for pd.com and for the leadership at ACTIVE also.

He disappears and there is no contact for days at a time. This was most notable last weekend when both pd.com and accdf.com went down to what we assumed was a DOS attack.

In addition to these episodes, there have been issues with payroll since my second week with the site. Payroll was not met and I and at least 2 others have received promises that the "check is in the mail" for the last 2 weeks in lieu of actual cash. I have given him the opportunity to make good on his promises and all he's done is let me down and lie again.

The loss in trust is one that would have been difficult for him to repair if he had made amends last week and made arrangements for immediate payment. But as he instead lied to me about the payment being on it's way, I am forced to conclude that my good will as well as my well being is of little or no consequence to Mr. Dollard. Therefore, I am also resigning my position as the Oklahoma President for Active effective on the 12th of this month.

For those that have signed up or thought of signing up do to my promotion on this site, I do not ask that you leave. But I do ask that, as with all associations, you make damn sure that the people you are associated with are above reproach and have good character.

Sen. Inhoffe Blasts Barry's Anti-American Message

I'll be honest with you, I detest 99% of everything that comes from the Tulsa World. They have proven themselves to be very little more than Leftist Political Hacks who very nearly always spin events to favor the Socialists that have tried to run Tulsa into the ground. However, on this one article, they at least stuck to the facts. Good job Tulsa World.

GROVE — Right-thinking Americans can only hope the country will survive the next 16 months of the Obama administration until Republicans can regain control of Congress, U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe said Wednesday.
“I never dreamed I would see an administration try to disavow all the things that have made this country different from all others,” Inhofe told more than 300 people at a town hall meeting in the Grove Community Center.

“I have never seen so many things happening at one time so disheartening to America.” Inhofe found a highly receptive audience. Many wore T-shirts of a local organization called Get America Back. Its Web site promises “a plan to eliminate the socialist government and return Americas (sic) freedoms.”

The “plan” is a link to a YouTube video by Lloyd Marcus, a Florida artist and singer making the circuit of anti-Obama “Tea Party” rallies.

Wednesday’s audience was similar to those at town hall meetings throughout northeastern Oklahoma in recent weeks. Concerns centered on the administration and Democratic-controlled Congress.

Inhofe gave his constituents plenty to worry about.

“Every institution that has made this country the greatest nation in the world is under attack,” he said at the end of the 75-minute session.

During those 75 minutes, Inhofe said President Barack Obama is disarming the military, is destroying everything good about America and is determined to turn foreign terrorists loose on U.S. soil.

The good news, he said, is that he does not think the Democratic leadership can push through

health-care reform or the more controversial parts of its energy bill.
He also said he continues to be proven correct in his claim that global climate change is a hoax.

“More and more, with each month that goes by, more scientists agree with me,” he said. “We are winning.”

Inhofe opened by saying the noisy debate over health care has caused Americans to overlook other important issues, including climate change and energy policy.

He is also alarmed, he said, by the proposed closing of the detention camp at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. The Obama administration wants to shutter the camp because of its association with torture.

Inhofe said: “There has never been a case of torture there. The people there are treated better than in the federal prisons.”

He continued, “I don’t know why President Obama is obsessed with turning terrorists loose in America.”

The administration says it wants to bring 60 to 80 prisoners to the U.S. for trial. Some Republicans have said those acquitted could be released in the U.S., but authorities say they would be deported as foreign nationals.

Inhofe’s third concern, he said, is that “Barack Obama is disarming America.” He conceded that Obama requested more military spending, but he criticized the elimination of several weapons systems, including the F-22 fighter.

Obama, at the urging of Defense Secretary Robert Gates, also scrapped one of Inhofe’s pet projects, a cannon that was to be assembled at Elgin in southwestern Oklahoma.

Gates, a holdover from the Bush administration, advocated abandoning high-tech systems such as the cannon and the F-22 for cheaper, more reliable weapons.

“Those of you who think like I do,” Inhofe said, “hope this country can hang on another 16 months.”

If You Speak Out, Look Out

The best way for a person that is in opposition to the powers that be to determine their effectiveness can be found in the amount of resistance one receives in answer to his efforts. This can be illustrated simply by the Pat Dollard sites. Let's review the last 3 months, the day that Twitter and other social sites got hit, PatDollard.com also got hacked. Site operation has been disrupted ever since. Then, due to "someones" complaint, Pat's paypal account was suspended last week, due to his site being "anti-Muslim". I would like to point out that it's not anti Muslim, it is however, anti-Islamo-fascist and anti-Jihadi.

And now, starting 2 days ago, we received a DOS attack (denial of service) designed to shut us down. This morning, sometime after 5 a.m. both the Active site and PatDollard.com were both brought down and are still shut down.

The interesting thing is, one of the last posts that I put up on Pat Dollard's site was the article by CNET about the bill that would give Barry direct control of the Internet. I do not believe in coincidence.

Understand patriots, if you come onto the opposition's radar, you will be targeted and every attempt will be made to shut you down. Pat says things on his site that most are not willing to. The fact that he allows me to post my observations without editing to make it politically "safe" is a testament to his willingness to push the bounds of Truth. To get messages out there, that the Left doesn't want spoken.

His effectiveness is the reason that both Patdollard.com and accdf.com have been targeted. The war is on, patriots. Make yourself ready.

The Great Conspiracy

I posted these three articles yesterday on Pat Dollards site because I've had a "feeling" that something wasn't right. It's like looking at a maze and you know that there's a way through, you can instinctively tell, you just can't really see it.

Perhaps it's because the more I look into our Government, the less I like or trust. So here it is, all in one chunk. I'm putting them all in one post so I'm sorry that it's going to be so big. The information I give really can't be condensed any more.

The Great Conspiracy

Friends, today's post is going to be one of those that will make you want to put on your little tinfoil hats and start looking out of the side of your eyes at everyone around you. Or at least at anyone that drives a big black SUV with out of state plates. I want to provide you with some interesting facts and a rather disturbing hypothesis about certain events and chains of events that have been happening for the last several years. But before I get into those events I have to ask you to do a couple things for me: First, I must ask you to suspend your disbelief of the possibility of a government conspiracy. For some that will be easy as you see the government as the root of most if not all evils that are rampant in our Republic today. That is a topic that we can and most likely will debate later. For now, let's focus on this little piece of the pie. The second thing that I am going to ask you to do is to try to look at our government through the eyes of our Founding Fathers.

First things first; I need for you to go ahead and put on your little tinfoil hats and seriously consider the idea that our government has been planning for decades to disband and dismember our Constitution and do away with our Representative Republic as laid out by our Constitution and its creators. I need you to seriously think about how this might be possible given the advanced state of Leftist execution of their goals over the last 18 months.

Whenever a crime is committed in the public arena, one of the very first things that law enforcement tries to determine is whether there was a conspiracy. Many times, this does indeed seem to be the case. It seems that it is the natural tendency for those with ill actions on their mind to seek out others of a compatibly sullied soul to help them with their chores. Why then would we expect anything less from our government?

Our founders saw the government as an Evil. One necessary to the preservation of social order, but evil none the less. Much like a vicious dog can never be trusted off its chain, the government must be held under tight control with specifically designed powers to keep it from utterly devouring its own people.

James Madison put it like this in Federalist #51, “It may be a reflection on human nature, that such devices should be necessary to control the abuses of government. But what is government itself, but the greatest of all reflections on human nature? If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: You must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself.”

Please keep this in mind as you read what follows. It is merely for your edification and an attempt to get you to look past the blinders that we all put upon ourselves in able to allow us to trust those that are called on to serve and protect us. We want to trust that they have our interests at heart, so we fail to see the evil that taints their actions.

Part 2: Pieces In Place

OK, so if you've come to this article, then you've possibly agreed to follow through on my two requests. Thanks, now hold on because we're heading down the rabbit hole on this one.

Now we are going to look at the tools and implements already in place by our government that could be used to strip us of our Constitutionally confirmed Rights and Liberties that we have enjoyed up to this point. In the last part of this series, we'll discuss current events and how they could be used to bring my Great Conspiracy to fruition. So let's get started.

The first and most glaring tool that the government has in it's Constitution pruning arsenal is probably the most successful PR campaign in the history of the federal government. The Federal Emergency Management Agency. This is the “benevolent” bureaucracy that everyone comes to for handouts when the City that was built below sea level gets flooded due to the funneling of moneys designed for structural upgrades to levies gets siphoned off by a crooked leftist local and state government. It's also, who will come running in the event of a national emergency, such as, but not limited to, epidemic, civil unrest, natural disaster, economic disaster, or just about any other local, state, or national “emergency” that might cause the government to declare a state of emergency within the U.S.

Upon such a declaration, the amount of power given to FEMA to perform it's mandate is staggering. Almost all of FEMA's powers are derived, not from enacted law, but by Executive Order. Here are the ones that empower FEMA in case of a Presidential Declaration of Emergency:

Executive Order #10990: allows the government to take over all modes of transportation and control of highways and seaports.
Executive Order #10995: Seizure of all communications media in the United States.
Executive Order #10997: Seizure of all electric power fuels and minerals, public and private.
Executive Order #10999: Seizure of all means of transportation, including personal cars, trucks or vehicles of any kind and total control of highways, seaports and waterways.
Executive Order #11000: Seizure of all American people for work forces under federal supervision including the splitting of families if the government finds it necessary.
Executive Order #11001: Seizure of all health, education and welfare facilities, public and private.
Executive Order #11002: Empowered the postmaster general to register all men, women and children in the U.S.
Executive Order #11003: Seizure of all airports and aircraft.
Executive Order #11004: Seizure of all housing and finance authorities to establish Forced Relocation Designated areas to be abandoned as "unsafe."
Executive Order #11005: Seizure of all railroads, inland waterways and storage facilities, public and private.
Executive Order #12919: Signs June 3, 1994, by President Clinton. Encompasses all the above executive orders.
Executive Order #11051: Specifies the responsibility of the Office of Emergency Planning and gives authorization to put all Executive Orders into effect in times of increased international tensions and economic or financial crisis.
Executive Order #11310: Grants authority to the Department of Justice to enforce the plans set out in Executive Orders, to institute industrial support, to establish judicial and legislative liaison, to control all aliens, to operate penal and correctional institutions, and to advise and assist the President.
Executive Order #11049: Signs emergency preparedness function to federal departments and agencies, consolidating 21 operative Executive Orders issued over a fifteen year period.
Executive Order #11921: Allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms of production and distribution, of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit and the flow of money in U.S. financial institution in any undefined national emergency. It also provides that when a state of emergency is declared by the President, Congress cannot review the action for six months.
Executive Order #12919: Signed June 3, 1994, by President Clinton. Encompasses all the above executive orders.

With these Executive orders, FEMA is given the ability to suspend every Right given to us in the Constitution. And all that it really needs is for the President of The United States to declare a national state of emergency. It doesn't have to be a certain type of emergency either. This could be political insurrection, terrorist attack, natural disaster, or Michelle waking up with a bad hair day. There is no limits on what could trigger the uses of the above mentioned powers.

The next tool that the government has at its disposal to help destroy our Constitution is the Military Organization called Northern Command. The following is taken directly from The U.S. Northern Command website:
“U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) was established Oct. 1, 2002 to provide command and control of Department of Defense (DOD) homeland defense efforts and to coordinate defense support of civil authorities. USNORTHCOM defends America's homeland — protecting our people, national power, and freedom of action.

USNORTHCOM’s specific mission:
USNORTHCOM anticipates and conducts Homeland Defense and Civil Support operations within the assigned area of responsibility to defend, protect, and secure the United States and its interests.”

In the past, having an organization like UNSNORTHCOM wasn't a problem because of a post civil war era law called the Posse Comitatus Act. This act made it illegal, punishable by imprisonment, to use military forces inside the United States. With the exception of uses according to the Insurrection Act.

However, in 2007 G.W. Bush pushed for and got a provision added to a bill that allowed the President to use the military as a police force instead of being limited to use only in case of insurrection or rebellion. This drastically changes the balance of power and makes the creation of a martial law declaration much much easier.

To put the Feather in the cap, so to speak, in October of 2008, according to The Army Times, the 3rd Infantry Division’s 1st Brigade Combat Team was assigned to USNORTHCOM for one year. These extremely combat hardened troops would then be rotated out and replaced with another combat team for the following year. This is a permanent shift to having combat ready troops deployed inside the U.S.

The germane point in the article, at least as far as this piece is concerned, is this part here, “In the meantime, they’ll learn new skills, use some of the ones they acquired in the war zone and more than likely will not be shot at while doing any of it. They may be called upon to help with civil unrest and crowd control...”

Now, let's leave this particular part of the puzzle alone for a second and jump to December, of 2008. A report by the U.S. Army War College, in December, 2008 talked about the possibility of Pentagon resources and troops being used should the economic crisis lead to civil unrest, such as protests against businesses and government or runs on beleaguered banks, “Widespread civil violence inside the United States would force the defense establishment to reorient priorities in extremis to defend basic domestic order and human security.”

OK I'll throw one more little piece of information at you, and I want you to look at it in the context of what I've given you so far.

This is from an interview with Gen. Tommy Franks in 2003 with Newsmax: “Discussing the hypothetical dangers posed to the U.S. in the wake of Sept. 11, Franks said that 'the worst thing that could happen' is if terrorists acquire and then use a biological, chemical or nuclear weapon that inflicts heavy casualties.
If that happens, Franks said, '... the Western world, the free world, loses what it cherishes most, and that is freedom and liberty we've seen for a couple of hundred years in this grand experiment that we call democracy.'”

If our form of government and democracy itself can be set aside in the event of an attack inside the heartland, what other “Emergencies” might also trigger the loss? That's the topic of my next and final part in this series: The Great Conspiracy (The Triggers).

Friends, in my first post, I asked you to suspend your disbelief in a government conspiracy and take a trip down the rabbit hole and look at the things that have happened and been put in place that makes the idea of a conspiracy not only believable, but likely.

In my second post, I laid out the tools and authorities that the government could use to bring about a coup to upset the rule of law as laid down by our Constitution. I tried to lay out the “shadow government” that is FEMA, who would have control over all aspects of our lives. I showed you the military arm of the government. All governments rule implicitly through the threat of force. Through USNORTHCOM and its combat hardened troops, the people that gave us Waco massacre and ruby ridge have all the firepower needed to help suppress the citizenry. I also showed you that plans have been drawn up for how to deal with civil unrest by the Army War College, since shortly after Barry became the alleged commander in chief.

Part 3: Triggers

Now in this final post, I'd like to take you through the scenarios that are in place, any of which could be used as an excuse to remove the Constitutional restraints placed upon our government.

First, there is the very real possibility of a Nuclear, Biological, or Chemical attack (NBC) by militant extremists. I don't care if they are Islamic Terrorists or La Raza punks, or Mexican street gangs. Or even some other as yet unknown group that decides to take advantage of our alleged President's lack of backbone when dealing with homeland security and defense of the intelligence community, the resulting loss of life, according to Gen. Tommy Franks, be the trigger needed.

However, thanks to G.W. Bush pulling the pin and fragging the Posse Comitatus Act, the reason for the use of military force in America is much easier, so perhaps it won't be anything like that.

How about this scenario, starting with G.W.'s famous quote about abandoning free market principles in order to save the free market, and the reality of his opening the door to Barry's out of control “stimulus” bill, Cap and Trade bill, and the current incarnation of the House medical care bill and it's public option, and Barry's insistence on “comprehensive immigration reform” (translated: amnesty) our nation is fast approaching a financial Force Majeure. Simply stated, our debt would reach a point where we could no longer even service the interest and still keep our nation running in the black.

When this happens, the dollar will collapse causing a financial meltdown that will make the Great Depression seem like a summer stroll through a forest meadow. The civil unrest caused by such an event would decimate our ability to keep law and order and people would demand that the government step in and quell the uprisings, as well as provide for the basic needs and necessities of life.

Thus would FEMA be activated and total control of life in this nation would be transferred over to the Dept. of Homeland Security and FEMA.

The next doomsday version has to do with the dreaded H1N1 virus. This virus is currently responsible for the deaths of just over 500 Americans. This late in the year, that places the virus on track to take out a little over 800 people. Does that sound bad to you? Well, according to the CDC, the regular seasonal influenza is responsible for the deaths of, get ready for this, over 40,000 people on average. Some years more, some less.

And yet, what is it that they are using for their fear mongering nearly every day. H1N1 has become the new boogie man. This next part of this particular scenario requires you to put on your tinfoil hats.

When was the last time the government ever planned anything correctly with any specificity? The word you are searching for is “never”. And yet, last January, USNORTHCOM said that they had just completed training exercises preparing for an epidemic of swine flu coming from south of the Border. This was in the same month that the H1N1 virus was first discovered. To paraphrase Arsinio Hall... Things that make you go, “WTF?!?!” And if that doesn't make you pull your tin hat down farther, the senior scientist that helped to create the vaccine, says that in his opinion, the virus was created in a laboratory.

This is backed up by an article in a science news site called The Tech Herald. In the story it claims that the WHO was investigating the claims that the H1N1 escaped from their labs. Later, they denied the possibility and ridiculed the very idea.

If it was released with nefarious intentions as indicated from the admittedly circumstantial evidence, then it too could be used as a trigger for the activation of FEMA.

In light of these theories, Barry's championing of the South American treaty that would limit gun ownership and trading as well as reloading of ammunition by private individuals, and the House's attempts at passing bills, including the House's version of health care reform, that would create roadblocks to citizens being legally able to own a weapon without a federal license, becomes understandable.

Theories aside for a moment, there are some facts that I think need to be considered in context of my postings. First, with few exceptions all three branches of our government are populated with socialists and Marxists that see the Constitution as an inconvenient obstacle to the furtherance of their agendas. We have a potential usurper in the Oval office who has surrounded himself with self described Marxists, Communists, and Leftist activists. And the alleged president himself has more than once shown nothing but disdain for Constitutional governance.

Leftists Vs. Conservatives: Why There Will Be Blood

Bad blood between those that are in favor of an all-powerful federal government and those that believe in the power of States and their citizens is nothing new. It's been around since before the Revolutionary war. Each side believes that they are right, and each side believes that the other is full of revolutionary ideology that they see as dangerous.

I'll give you a current case in point, Gramma2Many stopped in and left a request for aid on my website, as well as(judging by the number of people that showed up on her site) a good number of other sites. Apparently, a Leftist from the UK decided to go on her site and start bad mouthing Americans that don't want socialist healthcare.

Long story somewhat shorter, several of my fellow patriots took exception to her statements and came back at her with proof(or at least as much proof as we could get from this side of the pond). To which she mocked each source and told us we were listening to the same old right wing lies.

When she finally decided to quit the field of battle, I gave her one last salvo just to make sure that she got the idea, here it is:

Yes, diddleymaz, this conversation is and should be brought to conclusion. What you fail to understand is that very similar to the Founders of this nation, we conservatives see government intervention as a means of weakening the people. Government subsidies are designed to make the people dependant upon a government for sustanance, so that the people have to keep coming back to the teat for more and more. All the while, their ability to stand and succeed on their own is taxed and limited due to government's never ending hunger for resources.
More and more Rights are taken away and replaced with suposed rights. Free speech for free healthcare, Right to Bear Arms for the right to Welfare. I could go on and on but I won't. The fact of history is this, Socialism has always failed in the end. It weakens the people and creates a moral equivalancy that destroys the family and society as a whole. Strength comes from self reliance and a true sense of community. These things can not be instituted by a government beurocracy, but rather by the removal from governmental interferance in daily life.
Europe has never come to understand that government is at best a necessary evil. Like a viscious dog it must be kept on a strong chain or it will devour the very people that it is to protect. We Patriots of America, refuse to give our freedoms up for supposed security. We refuse to lose the sovereignty that so many of our forefathers died to aquire for us.
It is a point of view that Europeans mostly fail to understand because they do not have our heritage. It is a point even some of our own Leftists don't understand because they still look to Europe with envy. They see the old world as an attempt at the failed idea of human perfection. Socialist ideals clothed in "culture". For those of us who value our history and heritage, its poison in a sweet cake.
You will never understand our point of view because you have allowed yourself to become dependant upon your government for your existance. God forbid that happens here.Is it any wonder why projections for Europe show the muslims becoming 20% of your population? Or why your governments have folded to Islamic rule so often? Europe is weak and the Jihadis know it. They outbreed you and have a strength of conviction your will never have.

So of course, she had to come back with this little rejoinder:

Because I point out the differences between Euro-trash and American heritages and because I showed her the ways in which her value system was killing the European nations, I am a "deluded fascist".

Leftists are supposed to be the all inclusive, big tent, Cumbaya types aren't they? Aren't they the ones that preach tolerance? I've noticed that in every conversation that has taken place between Leftist organizations like ACORN or the SEIU, that the Leftists don't seem to be all that tolerant or inclusive. Unless you count becoming violent and threatening violence to be inclusive and tolerant.

Here's the argument as best as I can boil it down. Leftists want the government to ensure that they never have to worry about the chaos and insecurities of this thing called life. They are willing to sacrifice any amount of other peoples money to make sure that this is the case. They are willing to sacrifice any Freedom, Liberty, or Right that other people might enjoy so that they can secure the government's promise for "security" for themselves and others that have not earned it. (See also the illegal alien argument). The point that there is no place in the Constitution that gives the government the right to do this is moot and beneath them to the point of being rediculous to debate it. The government can do as it sees fit in their eyes.

Conservatives on the other hand, see the promise that our Founders started for us in this Constitutional Republic and want the power to go back to where it was originally placed by said Constitution; the states and the people. We want the government to stop interfering with our lives and to allow each state to govern it's people the way it was originally intended. We want a strict constructionalist view of the Constitution and we want ALL THREE BRANCHES OF THE GOVERNMENT TO CEASE AND DESIST ALL ATTEMPTS AT COERCING THE STATES ILLEGALLY.

As you can see, the two opposing views are truly diametrically opposed and beyond reconciliation. We have reached a point of critical mass in this country. It is my fear that if the current legislation on healthcare, climate change, and illegal amnesty gets pushed through congress, the only options left to a responsible patriotic people will be to pull out that document that started our first war of independance, dust it off, fill in the appropriate places, and march on Washington with weapons in hand, ready if necessary to do battle, but demanding first the resignation of every member of our national mis-leadership.

There Will Be Blood

Way back before Barry’s coronation, I predicted on my site and others that I frequent that there would be blood in the streets. Not because, as the media would have the public believe, Barry is Black, indeed I’d have voted for Dr. Alan Keyes in a heart beat, but because I forsaw the death of our Republic. I saw the rapid jumps in Nationalized Socialism coming to this country, the likes of which hasn’t been seen since the rise of the Nazi Party in Germany during the 1930’s.

Socialism isn’t new to America, but because we have had no ruling class, historically speaking, socialism has had to take slow baby steps compared to the leaps and sprints of the European Countries. However, just as in every great nation that has come to peril, ours has reached a point where the wolves are not at the outer gates, they are in our very midst. We are indeed in a Revolutionary War in this nation. One unlike any seen in this country before. For this is a truly revolution minded group that sits in our places of power and tramples on the Rights and Freedoms that our Founders fought and died for, and that our God granted with grace.

The question was once asked of me how I saw the fight starting. As I saw it then, there were two conceivable triggers for the coming fight: First, I saw the possibility of someone assassinating Barry which would spark a race war from one coast to the other to make the race riots in the 60’s look like a walk in the park with your children. The second possibility was for the government to so constrict our Freedoms and Rights that the American people would lash out at the government which would respond with greater and greater strictures on the freedoms of the body politic.

Now we stand on the brink. As I now see it, the run up to a full fledged conflict with our government will take a natural progression. First, there are the protests starting with the April 15th Tea Parties, Over 1000 individual peaceful protests in over 300 cities, towns, and municipalities and the resident of the White House says he doesn’t know anything about them. Again on July 4th there were Tea Parties held and again they were ignored.

Now we have further demonstrations at these so-called Town Hall Meetings. Meetings where protesters are shut out, beaten by Obama supporters and refused entrance by leftist supporting Police.

Despite the outcry of anger and resistance to the socialization of 1/5 of our economy, not to mention ruining the best health care system in the world, along with the incredible hit in the polls that the democrats and Barry in particular are taking, our leaders in D.C. Have decided that they are going to follow through and ram this thing down our throats whether We The People want it or not.

When a people lose their voices, or the government loses its ability to hear their voices, then it becomes a Tyranny. We are on the brink of the rise of the soft tyranny of Nationalized Socialism. But always a hard tyranny follows the soft. I predict that Our nation will not long stand for this type of bullying. Pressure is rising in the hearts of patriots. Something will have to give and when it does, There Will Be Blood.

Western Journalism’s Editors Note: In December ‘08 a retired CIA officer commissioned an investigator to look into the Barack Obama birth certificate and eligibility issue. On July 21, 2009 westernjournalism.com obtained a copy of the investigator’s report. Here is an unedited version of the report.

The Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii

I think that I now understand the legal background to the question of where Obama was born.

Let’s begin with the statement that Dr. Chiyome Fukino, the Director of the Hawaii Department of Health released on October 31, 2008. The television and print media used this statement as a reason to prevent and treat with contempt any investigation into whether Barack Obama was not born in Hawaii. But the language of the statement was so carefully hedged and guarded that it should have had the opposite effect.

“There have been numerous requests for Sen. Barack Hussein Obama’s official birth certificate. State law (Hawai‘i Revised Statutes §338-18) prohibits the release of a certified birth certificate to persons who do not have a tangible interest in the vital record. Therefore, I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.”

It is understandable that after such an apparently definitive statement most news outlets, whether conservative or liberal, would accept this as sufficient grounds to relegate the controversy to the status of a fringe phenomenon. Unless they happened to take the trouble to look into the “state policies and procedures” as laid down by the relevant statutes. If they had done so, they would have seen that Dr. Fukino’s press release was carefully hedged and “lawyered” and practically worthless. But the media in general should not be faulted. The statement seems to roll out with such bureaucratic certainty and final authority. I believed it to be significant until a Honolulu attorney mailed me the relevant statutes. I was so surprised that I laughed out loud.

Here is a summary of Hawaii’s “state policies and procedures” in 1961.

In the State of Hawaii, back in 1961, there were four different ways to get an “original birth certificate” on record. They varied greatly in their reliability as evidence. For convenience, I’ll call them BC1, BC2, BC3, and BC4.

BC1. If the birth was attended by a physician or mid wife, the attending medical professional was required to certify to the Department of Health the facts of the birth date, location, parents’ identities and other information. (See Section 57-8 & 9 of the Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii which was in effect in 1961).

BC2. In 1961, if a person was born in Hawaii but not attended by a physician or midwife, then all that was required was that one of the parents send in a birth certificate to be filed. The birth certificate could be filed by mail. There appears to have been no requirement for the parent to actually physically appear before “the local registrar of the district.” It would have been very easy for a relative to forge an absent parent’s signature to a form and mail it in. In addition, if a claim was made that “neither parent of the newborn child whose birth is unattended as above provided is able to prepare a birth certificate, the local registrar shall secure the necessary information from any person having knowledge of the birth and prepare and file the certificate.” (Section 57-8&9) I asked the Dept of Health what they currently ask for (in 2008) to back up a parent’s claim that a child was born in Hawaii. I was told that all they required was a proof of residence in Hawaii (e.g. a driver’s license [We know from interviews with her friends on Mercer Island in Washington State that Ann Dunham had acquired a driver’s license by the summer of 1961 at the age of 17] or telephone bill) and pre-natal (statement or report that a woman was pregnant) and post-natal (statement or report that a new-born baby has been examined) certification by a physician. On further enquiry, the employee that I spoke to informed me that the pre-natal and post-natal certifications had probably not been in force in the ‘60s. Even if they had been, there is and was no requirement for a physician or midwife to witness, state or report that the baby was born in Hawaii.

BC3. In 1961, if a person was born in Hawaii but not attended by a physician or midwife, then, up to the first birthday of the child, a “Delayed Certificate” could be filed, which required that “a summary statement of the evidence submitted in support of the acceptance for delayed filing or the alteration [of a file] shall be endorsed on the certificates”, which “evidence shall be kept in a special permanent file.” The statute provided that “the probative value of a ‘delayed’ or ‘altered’ certificate shall be determined by the judicial or administrative body or official before whom the certificate is offered as evidence.” (See Section 57- 9, 18, 19 & 20 of the Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii which was in effect in 1961).”

[In other words, this form of vault birth certificate, the Delayed Certificate, required no more than a statement before a government bureaucrat by one of the parents or (the law does not seem to me clear on this) one of Barack Obama’s grandparents. If the latter is true, Ann Dunham did not have to be present for this statement or even in the country.]

BC4. If a child is born in Hawaii, for whom no physician or mid wife filed a certificate of live birth, and for whom no Delayed Certificate was filed before the first birthday, then a Certificate of Hawaiian Birth could be issued upon testimony of an adult (including the subject person [i.e. the birth child as an adult]) if the Office of the Lieutenant Governor was satisfied that a person was born in Hawaii, provided that the person had attained the age of one year. (See Section 57-40 of the Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii which was in effect in 1961.) In 1955 the “secretary of the Territory” was in charge of this procedure. In 1960 it was transferred to the Office of the Lieutenant Governor (“the lieutenant governor, or his secretary, or such other person as he may designate or appoint from his office” §338-41 [in 1961]).

In 1982, the vital records law was amended to create a fifth kind of “original birth certificate”. Under Act 182 H.B. NO. 3016-82, “Upon application of an adult or the legal parents of a minor child, the director of health shall issue a birth certificate for such adult or minor, provided that the proof has been submitted to the director of health that the legal parents of such individual while living without the Territory or State of Hawaii had declared the Territory or State of Hawaii as their legal residence for at least one year immediately preceding the birth or adoption of such child.” In this way “state policies and procedures” accommodate even “children born out of State” (this is the actual language of Act 182) with an “original birth certificate on record.” So it is even possible that the birth certificate referred to by Dr Fukino is of the kind specified in Act 182. This possibility cannot be dismissed because such a certificate certainly satisfies Dr Fukino’s statement that “I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.” If this is the case, Dr Fukino would have perpetrated so unusually disgusting a deception that I find it practically incredible (and I greatly doubt that anyone could be that shameless). On the other hand, if the original birth certificate is of types 2, 3, or 4, Dr Fukino’s statement would be only somewhat less deceptive and verbally tricky. I only bring up this possibility to show how cleverly hedged and “lawyered” and basically worthless Dr Fukino’s statement is.

Sections 57-8, 9, 18, 19, 20 & 40 of the Territorial Public Health Statistics Act explain why Barack Obama has refused to release the original vault birth certificate. If the original certificate were the standard BC1 type of birth certificate, he would have allowed its release and brought the controversy to a quick end. But if the original certificate is of the other kinds, then Obama would have a very good reason not to release the vault birth certificate. For if he did, then the tape recording of Obama’s Kenyan grandmother asserting that she was present at his birth in Kenya becomes far more important. As does the Kenyan ambassador’s assertion that Barack Obama was born in Kenya, as well as the sealing of all government and hospital records relevant to Obama by the Kenyan government. And the fact that though there are many witnesses to Ann Dunham’s presence on Oahu from Sept 1960 to Feb 1961, there are no witnesses to her being on Oahu from March 1961 to August 1962 when she returned from Seattle and the University of Washington. No Hawaiian physicians, nurses, or midwives have come forward with any recollection of Barack Obama’s birth.

The fact that Obama refuses to release the vault birth certificate that would instantly clear up this matter almost certainly indicates that the vault birth certificate is probably a BC2 or possibly a BC3.

It is almost certainly a BC 3 or even a BC 4 if the “Certification of Live Birth” posted on the Daily Kos blog and the fightthesmears.com website by the Obama campaign is a forgery. Ron Polarik has made what several experts claim to be a cogent case that it is a forgery. There have been a couple of attempts to refute his argument and Polarik has replied to the most extensive of them. I do not claim expertise in this area, but I think it would be best for journalists and politicians to familiarize themselves with the arguments on both sides before they casually dismiss Polarik’s position without taking the trouble to understand it.

Because the disputants know far more about this subject than I do, I am an agnostic about Polarik’s argument. However, the likelihood that this computer-generated “Certification of Live Birth” was forged, is, I believe, increased by the fact that it has been pretty clearly established that Obama “either didn’t register for the draft or did so belatedly and fraudulently. The documents indicate that it’s one or the other.” http://www.debbieschlussel.com/archives/004431print.html The forgery of Obama’s selective service registration was necessary, because according to Federal law, “A man must be registered to be eligible for jobs in the Executive Branch of the Federal government and the U.S. Postal Service. It is also very strange that Dr Fukino’s statement in no way attested to (or even addressed the issue of) the authenticity of the “Certification of Live Birth” (and the information that appears on it) that the Daily Kos blog and the Obama campaign posted on line. Dr Fukino merely stated that “I as Director of Health for the State of Hawai‘i, along with the Registrar of Vital Statistics who has statutory authority to oversee and maintain these type of vital records, have personally seen and verified that the Hawai‘i State Department of Health has Sen. Obama’s original birth certificate on record in accordance with state policies and procedures.”

If there is no hospital or physician record in the vault birth certificate, then he wasn’t born in a hospital in Hawaii. And a home birth or non-hospital birth can then be ruled out for the following reason.

When someone has a home birth or is not born in a hospital, this becomes a part of his family’s lore and is now and again spoken of by his parents. He and his siblings grow up knowing that he was born at home or his uncle’s house, etc. The fact that someone in the campaign told a Washington Post reporter that he was born in Kapioliani hospital and his sister said he was born at Queens hospital indicates that there was not and is not any Obama/Dunham family memory of a home birth or non-hospital birth in Hawaii.

And if there is no hospital record in the original vault birth certificate, then he was not born in a hospital in Hawaii.

Instead of the birth certificate on file at the Hawaii Dept of Health, the Obama campaign posted on the Daily Kos blog and the Fightthesmears website a “Certification of Live Birth”. The Certification of Live Birth is not a copy of the original birth certificate. It is a computer-generated document that the state of Hawaii issues on request to indicate that a birth certificate of some type is “on record in accordance with state policies and procedures”. And there is the problem. Given the statutes in force in 1961, the Certification of Live Birth proves nothing unless we know what is on the original birth certificate. There are several legal areas (involving ethnic quotas and subsidy) for which the state of Hawaii up until June 2009 did not accept its computer-generated Certification of Live Birth as sufficient proof of birth in Hawaii or parentage. Why should the citizens of the United States be content with lower standards for ascertaining the qualifications of their President?

If you combine an awareness of what the Certification of Live Birth posted on the internet really is with 1) a knowledge of the relevant statutes in 1961 and 2) Obama’s stubborn refusal to permit the release of the real birth certificate and his determination to fight any legal actions that would compel him to do so, it becomes clear that there is no logical explanation for Obama’s refusal without taking into consideration the relevant statutes. Then his behavior becomes clear. The Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii is the missing piece of the puzzle.

Most people think of a birth certificate as a statement by a hospital or midwife with a footprint, etc. (That may be why some main-stream journalists have straight out lied about this. Jonathan Alter, senior editor at Newsweek magazine, for example, told Keith Olbermann on MSNBC on Feb 20, 2009 that “They [the Republicans] are a party that is out of ideas so they have to resort to these lies about the fact that he’s not a citizen. This came up during the campaign, Keith. The Obama campaign actually posted his birth certificate from a Hawaii hospital online.” But it is Alter who resorted to lying to the American people on television. “The Obama campaign” never “actually posted his birth certificate from a Hawaii hospital online.” On July 17, 2009 CNN’s Kitty Pilgrim lied when she stated that the Obama campaign had produced “the original birth certificate” on the internet and that FactCheck.org had examined the original birth certificate; whether it was forged or not, the Certification of Live Birth that was posted by the campaign and FactCheck.org is not, and by definition, cannot be the original birth certificate or a copy of the original birth certificate. There were no computer generated Certifications of Live Birth in 1961, the year Obama was born. Obama’s original birth certificate (whether it was filed in 1961 or later) was a very different document from the Certification of Live Birth on FactCheck.org. On the FactCheck.org web site, the claim is made that “FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate.” So FactCheck.org is lying about this as well.

FactCheck.org gets its prestige from a reputation for objectivity. Why would those who run this site choose to tell so obvious a lie and so endanger the site’s reputation? The answer is in the date of the posting, August 21, 2008. It was in mid-August that questions about the Certification of Live Birth began to reach a critical mass and threaten to enter the public discourse. The mostly pro-Obama television and newspaper/magazine media had to be given an excuse and cover for their collective decision to dismiss or ignore the substantial questions about whether Obama met the qualifications for the office set forth in Article II section I of the Constitution. And those reporters and editors who were not in the tank for Obama had to be deceived. After Labor Day the swing voters would begin to pay attention to the Presidential campaign. The truth had to be killed. And with its lie about “how it examined and photographed the original birth certificate“, FactCheck.org killed it.)

Most people would not consider a mailed-in form by one of his parents (who could have been out of the country or whose signature could have been forged by a grandparent) or a sworn statement by one of his grandparents or by his mother or even a sworn statement by himself many years later to be sufficient evidence (when set next to the statements by his maternal grandmother and the Kenyan ambassador that he was born in another country). Unless the American people are shown the original birth certificate, all of these are possibilities. And if Obama refuses to allow the state of Hawaii to release the original birth certificate, it begins to look like he was not born in a Hawaii hospital or at home with the assistance of a doctor or midwife. A reasonable person would acknowledge that there are serious reasons to doubt that Barack Obama was born in the United States. This is especially true because, if Obama was born in a foreign country, his family had a compelling reason to lie about it.

In 1961 if a 17 year old American girl gave birth in a foreign country to a child whose father was not an American citizen, that child had no right to any American citizenship, let alone the “natural born” citizenship that qualifies someone for the Presidency under Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution.

In 1961, the year that Barack Obama was born, under Sec. 301 (a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, Ann Dunham could not transmit citizenship of any kind to Barack Obama.

“a. Section 301 as Effective on December 24, 1952: When enacted in 1952, section 301 required a U.S. citizen married to an alien to have been physically present in the United States for ten years, including five after reaching the age of fourteen, to transmit citizenship to foreign-born children. The ten-year transmission requirement remained in effect from 12:01 a.m. EDT December 24, 1952, through midnight November 13, 1986, and still is applicable to persons born during that period.

“As originally enacted, section 301(a)(7) stated: Section 301. (a) The following shall be nationals and citizens of the United States at birth: (7) a person born outside the geographical limits of the United States and its outlying possessions of parents one of whom is an alien, and the other a citizen of the United States who, prior to the birth of such person, was physically present in the United States or its outlying possessions for a period or periods totaling not less than ten years, at least five of which were after attaining the age of fourteen years: Provided, That any periods of honorable service in the Armed Forces of the United States by such citizen parent may be included in computing the physical presence requirements of this paragraph.”

The Immigration and Nationality Corrections Act (Public Law 103-416) on October 25, 1994 revised this law to accommodate “a person born outside the geographical limits of the United States and its outlying possessions of parents one of whom is an alien, and the other a citizen of the United States who, prior to the birth of such person, was physically present in the United States or its outlying possessions for a period or periods totaling not less than five years, at least two of which were after attaining the age of fourteen years”.

But in 1961, if Barack Obama had been born outside of the country, the Dunham family had no way of knowing that in 1994 Congress would pass a law that would retroactively make him a citizen. At that time, the only way to get citizenship for him would be to take advantage of one of the loopholes in the Territorial Public Health Statistics Act.

People can debate the meaning of the term “natural-born citizen” as long as they like but this is clear: If, in 1961, 17 year old Ann Dunham gave birth to a child on foreign soil whose father was not an American citizen, then the Immigration and Nationality Act at that time denied Barack Obama any right to American citizenship of any kind. Therefore if at the time of his birth Obama was ineligible for American citizenship of any kind, then he cannot be a “natural-born citizen”. This is true even if the Immigration and Nationality Act was changed 33 years after he was born. Even if the law was retroactively changed to grant citizenship (but not “natural-born” citizenship) to some of those who had at birth been denied it. If a person is not at the time of his birth an American citizen, he cannot be a natural-born citizen. Therefore, that person is ineligible under Article II, Section1 for the Office of President of the United States.

It is only by examining the 18th century usage and definition of a term that we can ascertain its meaning in the Constitution. In the 18th century, and at the time of the framing and ratification of the Constitution by the states, the term “natural-born” subject or citizen was always used or defined in such a way as to exclude the child of a British or American girl or woman when that child was born in a foreign country and that child’s father was a foreign citizen. No 18th century jurist would have thought the term “natural-born” citizen or subject could have been extended to the child of a British or American girl or woman when that child was born in a foreign country and that child’s father was a foreign citizen.

Here is Blackstone’s classic exposition in 1765 of the legal meaning of the term from the Commentaries on the Laws of England.

“Natural-born subjects are such as are born within the dominions of the crown of England, that is, within the ligeance, or as it is generally called, the allegiance of the king; and aliens, such as are born out of it.. . .

The common law indeed stood absolutely so; with only a very few exceptions: so that a particular act of parliament became necessary after the restoration, for the naturalization of children of his majesty’s English subjects, born in foreign countries during the late troubles. And this maxim of the law proceeded upon a general principle, that every man owes natural allegiance where he is born, and cannot owe two such allegiances, or serve two masters, at once. Yet the children of the king’s embassadors born abroad were always held to be natural subjects: for as the father, though in a foreign country, owes not even a local allegiance to the prince to whom he is sent; so, with regard to the son also, he was held (by a kind of postliminium) to be born under the king of England’s allegiance, represented by his father, the embassador. To encourage also foreign commerce, it was enacted by statute 25 Edw. III. st. 2. that all children born abroad, provided both their parents were at the time of the birth in allegiance to the king,…might inherit as if born in England: and accordingly it hath been so adjudged in behalf of merchants. But by several more modern statutes these restrictions are still farther taken off: so that all children, born out of the king’s ligeance, whose fathers were natural-born subjects, are now natural-born subjects themselves, to all intents and purposes, without any exception; unless their said fathers were attainted, or banished beyond sea, for high treason; or were then in the service of a prince at enmity with Great Britain.” [The italics are Blackstone's]

The irresponsible confirmation in the Senate of the irresponsible tallying of votes in the Electoral College does not supersede the clear meaning of Article II, Section 1. If it is allowed to stand, disregard of the Constitution by all branches of the government would be openly established. To all who believe that the Constitution is the government’s basic law, that the Constitution is the only instrument that gives the enactments of Congress and the commands of the Executive validity, it will be clear that the rule of law in the United States is a fiction.

Journalists and politicians complain that we must avoid a Constitutional crisis, but there already is a Constitutional crisis. It has been caused by Obama’s refusal to take the simple step to clear the matter up. The power of the Executive branch has been compromised. Its right to collect taxes and sign Congressional enactments into law, in fact all of its powers, have become problematic. Since their validity under Section I is now doubtful, they depend on the illegal exercise of force. Since officers of the American military take their oath on commissioning to the Constitution and not the President, their obedience to the Commander-in-Chief has lapsed and, if they challenge or resist his authority, any courts-martial will also be an illegal exercise of force. The only way out of the present Constitutional crisis is for Obama to do as McCain did when he was confronted by far less pressing doubts about the circumstances of his birth. He must disclose his vault birth certificate. Since the document has been so suspiciously withheld for so long, it should be subjected to rigorous forensic tests. Then whatever is on it should be judicially assessed together with the claims that have been made that Barack Obama was born on foreign soil.

It should be added that “Obama’s top terrorism and intelligence adviser, John O. Brennan, heads a firm that was cited in March for breaching sensitive files in the State Department’s passport office, according to a State Department Inspector General’s report released this past July.

“The security breach, first reported by the Washington Times and later confirmed by State Department spokesman Sean McCormack, involved a contract employee of Brennan’s firm, The Analysis Corp., which has earned millions of dollars providing intelligence-related consulting services to federal agencies and private companies.

“During a State Department briefing on March 21, 2008, McCormack confirmed that the contractor had accessed the passport files of presidential candidates Barack Obama, Hillary Rodham Clinton, and John McCain, and that the inspector general had launched an investigation.

“Sources who tracked the investigation tell Newsmax that the main target of the breach was the Obama passport file, and that the contractor accessed the file in order to ‘cauterize’ the records of potentially embarrassing information.

“ ‘They looked at the McCain and Clinton files as well to create confusion,’ one knowledgeable source told Newsmax. ‘But this was basically an attempt to cauterize the Obama file.’

“At the time of the breach, Brennan was working as an unpaid adviser to the Obama campaign.

” ‘This individual’s actions were taken without the knowledge or direction of anyone at The Analysis Corp. and are wholly inconsistent with our professional and ethical standards,’ Brennan’s company said in a statement sent to reporters after the passport breach was made public.

“The passport files include ‘personally identifiable information such as the applicant’s name, gender, social security number, date and place of birth, and passport number,’ according to the inspector general report.

“The files may contain additional information including ‘original copies of the associated documents,’ the report added. Such documents include birth certificates, naturalization certificates, or oaths of allegiance for U.S.-born persons who adopted the citizenship of a foreign country as minors.”

“The State Department Office of Inspector General (OIG) issued a 104-page report on the breach last July. Although it is stamped ‘Sensitive but Unclassified,’ the report was heavily redacted in the version released to the public, with page after page blacked out entirely.”

“A key witness in a federal probe into passport information stolen from the State Department was fatally shot in front of a District church, the Metropolitan Police Department said yesterday.

“Lt. Quarles Harris Jr., 24, who had been cooperating with a federal investigators, was found late Thursday night slumped dead inside a car, in front of the Judah House Praise Baptist Church in Northeast, said Cmdr. Michael Anzallo, head of the department’s Criminal Investigations Division.

“Cmdr. Anzallo said a police officer was patrolling the neighborhood when gunshots were heard, then Lt. Harris was found dead inside the vehicle, which investigators would describe only as a blue car.

“Emergency medics pronounced him dead at the scene.

“City police said they do not know whether his death was a direct result of his cooperation with federal investigators.

“We don’t have any information right now that connects his murder to that case,” Cmdr. Anzallo said.

“Police say a “shot spotter” device helped an officer locate Lt. Harris.

“A State Department spokeswoman yesterday declined to comment, saying the investigation into the passport fraud is ongoing.

“The Washington Times reported April 5 that contractors for the State Department had improperly accessed passport information for presidential candidates Sens. Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barack Obama and John McCain, which resulted in a series of firings that reached into the agency’s top ranks.

“One agency employee, who was not identified in documents filed in U.S. District Court, was implicated in a credit-card fraud scheme after Lt. Harris told federal authorities he obtained “passport information from a co-conspirator who works for the U.S. Department of State.” “

There is a possibility that the breaches of the passport files associated with the “credit-card fraud scheme” were a cover for or associated with the breaches of the passport files by the employee of Brennan’s Analysis Corp. This certainly at least should be looked into.

July 11th Addendum to Report

1. Until June 2009, the reasonable doubts about where Obama was born could have quickly and finally been resolved if he had authorized the release by the Hawaiian Dept of Health of his original birth certificate or else applied for it himself and released it to the media. But as these doubts have increased and reached the point where they are no longer a “fringe” phenomenon, the Hawaiian state govt has recently taken certain steps that would create procedural and possibly legal barriers to a resolution of the controversy. Given the slipperiness that characterized the statements of Chiyome Fukino, the Dept’s Director, and Janice Okubo, the Dept’s spokesperson, to the media on this issue, it is, I think, also reasonable to regard these steps with suspicion.

A family that I am acquainted with has a child who was born in Hawaii 6 months ago. They filled out and mailed in a form to the Dept of Health, as did their doctor. In return the Dept sent them in the first week of June, 2009, the same abbreviated computer-generated form that last year on the Daily Kos and subsequently on the Obama campaign web site was called a “Certification of Live Birth”. The form that this family received this year is identical in format to the Certification of Live Birth on the Daily Kos web site with one exception: the title at the top of the form.

On June 12, 2008 the title for this abbreviated form was Certification of Live Birth. The title for the form that this family received in the first week of June 2009 is Certificate of Live Birth. I called The Dept of Health and confirmed that the title of the form had been changed. The bureaucrat that I spoke to said the change had been made “recently”, but could not or would not tell me when. Sometime between June 12, 2008 and the first week of June 2009 the Hawaiian Dept of Health changed the title of this abbreviated form from “Certification of Live Birth” to “Certificate of Live Birth“. Why?

The use of the word “Certificate” rather than “Certification” makes the form feel somewhat more like a traditional birth certificate than the “Certification of Live Birth” that the Daily Kos website and subsequently the Obama campaign posted on the Internet even though, like the “Certification“, it also lacks any information about the hospital, doctor, or midwife. There is no footprint etc. This renaming of the document will be very convenient for the Hawaiian Dept of Health in future stonewalling should any legal pressure be brought against them to produce Obama’s “Certificate of Live Birth”. Instead of producing the original “Certificate of Live Birth”, they will produce the abbreviated “Certification of Live Birth” form that the Dept of Health has now renamed a “Certificate of Live Birth” and claim that they are doing so “in accordance with state policies and procedures” in the words of the Dept’s Director, Dr. Chiyome Fukino.

But whether it is called (as it was last year) a Certification or (as it is now) a Certificate of Live Birth this abbreviated document provides none of the probative information that was or wasn’t on Barack Obama’s original Certificate of Live Birth. Unlike the Certificate of Live Birth of the time when Barack Obama was born, this new Certificate of Live Birth provides no real evidence of where a child was born or indication of where such evidence might be found. It provides no information that would demonstrate to the people of the United States whether there is convincing evidence that he was actually born here or whether a relative or two (or possibly even Barack Obama himself) just made a statement to that effect to a low level bureaucrat. (As is permitted under Section 57-40 of the Territorial Public Health Statistics Act in the 1955 Revised Laws of Hawaii.)

2. On June 7, 2009, a spokeswoman for the Hawaii Department of Health told a rather obvious lie (or engaged in a pretty transparent verbal deception) in another attempt to discourage further investigation into the issue of whether Barack Obama was born on Oahu. “The state Department of Health no longer issues copies of paper birth certificates as was done in the past”, said spokeswoman Janice Okubo. “The department only issues ‘certifications’ of live births, and that is the ‘official birth certificate’ issued by the state of Hawaii, she said. ” [Honolulu Star Bulletin] http://www.starbulletin.com/columnists/kokualine/20090606_kokua_line.html

This statement was false or deliberately very misleading. Here, from a Hawaii state document that was posted on June 10, 2009, is a description of how to apply for “the original Certificate of Live Birth” (the original birth certificate) as opposed to the Certification of Live Birth:

“In order to process your application [to prove native Hawaiian ancestry], DHHL [Department of Hawaiian Homelands] utilizes information that is found only on the original Certificate of Live Birth, which is either black or green. This is a more complete record of your birth than the Certification of Live Birth (a computer-generated printout). Submitting the original Certificate of Live Birth will save you time and money since the computer-generated Certification requires additional verification by DHHL.

“Please note that DOH [Department of Health] no longer offers same day service. If you plan on picking up your certified DOH document(s), you should allow at least 10 working days for DOH to process your request(s), OR four to six weeks if you want your certified certificate(s) mailed to you.”

Ms. Okubo’s statement gave the false impression that Obama could not gain access to or release “the original Certificate of Live Birth”, and that it was the DOH’s policy rather than his own reluctance that was responsible for the holding back of this Certificate. This was an obvious deception. The document at the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands website indicates that at the time she made this statement it was false, and that a procedure was in place for application for “the original Certificate of Live Birth.”

Only the information on the original birth certificate, “the original Certificate of Live Birth”, can demonstrate to the people of the United States whether there is convincing evidence that he was actually born here or whether a relative or two (or possibly even Barack Obama himself) just made a statement to that effect to a low level bureaucrat.

3. On July 8, 2009 the web site World Net Daily reported that “The state, which had excluded the controversial document [the Certification of Live Birth] as proof of native Hawaiian status, has changed its policy and now makes a point of including it.”

When a request is made for a copy of a birth certificate, the DOH issues a Certification of Live Birth.”

But if the data from the original paper Certificates of Live Birth has been transferred to an electronic record and then the original documents were discarded, part of the data could easily have been changed in the transfer or subsequently altered.Why did the Hawaiian Dept of Health wait until June 6, 2009 to announce to the world that the original paper Certificates of Live Birth had been destroyed (presumably in 2001)? I posted on this at patdollard.com but figured I'd mention it here, as I have no clue how many of you know that I'm back to posting there daily.

So, here's the skinny on this little piece of Government proctological movement. By which, I mean that they've found yet another way to look right up your ass and tell what color your crap is. If you go to the cash for clunkers website, you will be, in essence and legal fact, be handing ownership of your PC to the Federal government. They will be able to monitor anything that happens with your PC at any time and there is not a damn thing that you can do, legally.

The warning that the site gives is so broad that it leaves the door open for the government to do LITERALLY anything, up to and including listen in on phone calls you make, if you use a voip provider to do so. It even opens it up for foreign governments or agencies to monitor you. Hello UN? Are you listening?

I don't know about the rest of you, but this is the type of thing that I have been looking for from our government for a LONG time. How this ever got put into place without anyone raising holy hell is beyond my imagination. Well, check out the video and whether you are a Glenn Beck fan or not, give this some serious consideration.

I just got a phone call from one of my younger sisters. The reason she was upset is that today is my Mother's Birthday. She (my Mother) died on Nov. 28th, 2004 at Bass Memorial Hospital in Enid, Oklahoma. Here's the Obituary that ran that week in our local paper.

Fleta Dawn Frye, age 58, of Lamont entered into rest Sunday morning November 28th, 2004, at Integris Bass Hospital in Enid, Oklahoma. Services will be held on Wednesday December 1st, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. in the Prairie View Assembly of God Church at 223 South Maple in Lamont with Reverend Andy Vaughan officiating. Internment will follow in the Lamont Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Anderson Funeral Home of Tonkawa.
Fleta Dawn is survived by her husband, Delmer of the home and five daughters: Jamie Diefenbach of Farmington, New Mexico, Maria Elena Parson, Herminia and husband Eddie Shelton, Yolanda and husband Ray Gillion of Lamont and Nina Ann Ehnen of Dover and one son Harold Keith Ent and wife Marie of Alva, two sisters Cathy Springer and Thelma Gene Lucas and one brother Larry James.
Her parents, grandparents, one sister, one brother and a son-in-law preceded her in death.

The name above in red is me. This is the first and only time I'll publish my name here, but for her sake I'll do it so as to do her honor here. I'd like to tell you that my mother was always a saint, but that would be a lie of the greatest magnitude. Without going into any details let me say that there are so many statistics that I and my sisters have been classified under to make a Dept. of Human Services worker cry. My youth had very few good memories and my mother's choices in men had much to do with this. She jumped right into being a mother at a VERY young age and unfortunately being a mother did not come with a manual. She made some horrendous and scarring errors in our upbringing. Think of a type of abuse and I will bet that it happened to me and my sisters at some point. The fact that I survived my childhood and came out of it as well adjusted as I have is thanks only to God.

That brings me to the point of this post. My mother is a testament to the power of redemption and forgiveness. Some years back,(in truth, too far back for me to remember clearly) my mother found her faith and grabbed a hold of it like a dying man grabs driftwood in a raging river. She has been at times a fighter, drinker, smoker, honky-tonker(one day I'll relate the story of her trying to slap Conway Twitty.), and general bad girl. But that turned around somewhere this side of 20 years ago. I don't know exactly how it happened but I do know that it happened and it was for real.

My Mother fell in love with her Lord and clung to him in selfless service every chance she got. Like me she had her opinions and if you didn't care to hear them it was best if you didn't sit down at her table. However, I don't know of many who would have passed up a chance to put their feet under her table. On a shotgun modest living she somehow managed to feed all of us and still have enough for the kids that would be an endless parade through her home. Her dedication to her Lord was not easy for her, especially in the last 2 years of her life.

On her way home from another city some 40 miles away a farmer ran a stop sign pulling the header to a wheat combine. For those that care to google it, you get the idea. The wreck left my step-father and niece unharmed for the most part. My mother was not so lucky. She broke her leg in several places and her ball joint in her hip had an x-fracture right across the top. They did at least two surgeries that I know of to install a rod in her leg and try to correct the breakage. Unfortunately, my mother had diabetes and was also a rather large woman at that point in her life. The breaks wouldn't heal. I took time away from work to help tend to her for about 90 days after her last trip into the hospital. I remember late at night, she'd cry out in agony for the Lord to either heal her or take her home. This happened EVERY night. She couldn't get to the bathroom by herself and I'd have to take care of that and clean any accidents that might happen and the shame she felt was almost as intense as the pain. Through the worst of it, I stayed and took care of her as best as I could. Through it all, her faith never wavered.

She eventually got some better and moved from the farm that she and my stepfather lived in to the old parsonage for her church. The current pastor owned his own home and the church let them live their for a pittance. She was gifted with an old electric wheel chair that she quite literally drove the wheels right off, going to and from the church, 2 blocks away. Every moment she could she was working in the church or with the youth group. "Sister Dawny" never complained in front of her church and she always had a smile for her "kids" in the youth group. She used her current situation and her past life as a method of ministering to the troubled youth and I really believe that she was able to reach them when others couldn't because she was the real thing. Sinner turned saint. And that is the God's honest truth, at the end, she was just that; a Saint.

In her hospital room, the stories told of her death(I was not able to get there before she died) relate a woman who was praising her lord and praying hard almost with her last breath. And in the End, her lord took the pain away before he took her home.

Even if I hadn't known her as my Mother, to have known her and her story, to have witnessed the miracles of her life( and there were many honest to God miracles) I am left to wonder how anyone can say that God no longer takes an active interest in our lives. I am the man I am, in part, because of her faith. I hope that I live my life from here out half as well as she lived hers.

10th Amendment Resolutions- Wastes of Time and Paper

To date, 38 states have introduced 10th amendment resolutions asserting state sovereignty and giving the Federal Government a "cease and desist" order. Only one problem, they aren't worth the paper they're printed on. Out of 8 states that have passed such a resolution, only 2, Alaska and Tennessee are the only two to have their Governors sign them. And NONE of them have the strength of law. They are non-binding resolutions only. All they are, and I'll admit to being caught up in it too, are attempts to pacify the people at home. They are merely stabs by the state politicians to keep their jobs and show their "independence".

It is all a crock of warmed up horse manure. If the politicians would like to truly tell the government how their constituents felt, they would make it STATE LAW. Not some worthlessly wordy non-binding resolution that no one will remember 2 years from now. The more I hear about these resolutions the more I want to punch congressmen in the forehead.

I'm telling you right now, the state that stands up and tells the Feds to butt out with a binding state law, I am moving there the next day. Fat chance of that, even Texas is too cowardly to actually stand up and kick the Feds in their asses.

Mr. Obama:

I have had it with you and your administration, sir. Your conduct
on your recent trip overseas has convinced me that you are not an
adequate representative of the United States of America collectively or
of me personally.
You are so obsessed with appeasing the Europeans and the Muslim world
that you have abdicated the responsibilities of the President of the
United States of America. You are responsible to the citizens of the
United States. You are not responsible to the peoples of any other
country on earth.
I personally resent that you go around the world apologizing for the
United States, telling Europeans that we are arrogant and do not care
about their status in the world. Sir, what do you think the First World
War and the Second World War were all about if not the consideration of
the peoples of Europe? Are you brain dead? What do you think the
Marshall Plan was all about? Do you not understand or know the history
of the 20th century?
Where do you get off telling a Muslim country that the United
States does not consider itself a Christian country? Have you not read
the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution of the United
States? This country was founded on Judeo-Christian ethics and the
principles governing this country, at least until you came along, come
directly from this heritage. Do you not understand this?
Your bowing to the king of Saudi Arabia is an affront to all
Americans. Our President does not bow down to anyone, let alone the
Saudi Arabia CEO. You don't show Great Britain , our best and one of
our oldest allies, the respect they deserve, yet you bow down to the
king of Saudi Arabia. How dare you, sir! How dare you!
You can't find the time to visit the graves of our greatest generation
because you don't want to offend the Germans but make time to visit a
mosque in Turkey. You offended our dead and every veteran when you
give the Germans more respect than the people who saved the German
people from themselves. What's the matter with you?
I am convinced that you and the members of your administration have
the historical and intellectual depth of a mud puddle and should be
ashamed of yourselves, all of you.
You are so self-righteously offended by the big bankers and the
American automobile manufacturers yet do nothing about the real thieves
in this situation, Mr. Dodd, Mr. Frank, Franklin Raines, Jamie Gorelic,
the Fannie Mae and the Freddie Mac gangs. What do you intend to do about
them? Anything? I seriously doubt it.
What about the U.S. House members passing out $9.1 million in
bonuses to their staff members on top of the $2.5 million in automatic
pay raises that lawmakers gave themselves? I understand the average
House aide got a 17% bonus. I took a 5% cut in my pay to save jobs with
my employer. You haven't said anything about that. Who authorized
that? I surely didn't!
Executives at Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be receiving $210
million in bonuses over an eighteen-month period, that's $45 million
more than the AIG bonuses, which are bad enough. In fact, Fannie and
Freddie executives have already been awarded $51 million. Not a bad
take. Who authorized that and why haven't you expressed your outrage
at this group who are largely responsible for the economic mess we have
right now.
I resent that you take me and my fellow citizens as brain-dead and
not caring about what you idiots do.
We are watching what you are doing and we are getting increasingly
fed up with all of you.
I also want you to know that I personally find just about everything
you do and say to be offensive to every one of my sensibilities.
I promise you that I will work tirelessly to see that you do not get
a chance to spend two terms destroying my beautiful country.

Enjoy, Remember, and Prepare

Tomorrow is the 4th of July, 2009. It's been 233 years since our Founders pledged their lives and fortunes to start this, the greatest country in the history of Mankind. Over the last 233 years countless men and women have given their all to secure and keep the Freedom and Liberty that we enjoy.

Currently we, as a nation, are in a crisis. I'm not speaking of the financial recession, as we will always fight our way free of such things, regardless of the painful costs. I'm talking about a crossroads. We are at a crossroads that each and every great society comes to at one point or another in their histories. A self-defining moment where the course that the nation will take is dependant upon the action or inaction of the body politic. If actions are taken perhaps the national identity and path are saved from ruin or if the wrong actions are taken, the end is hastened. The same with no action, can also be argued.

However, we are at a moment in our history where the paths are clear. Inaction on the part of the Conservative base will leave us in darkness where our freedoms and liberties will be further and faster eroded over the next very few years. Tomorrow, if reports are to be believed, there will be larger and more numerous "Tea Parties" going on from coast to coast. If you are able, find one. Raise your voice and let it ring from one end of this great land to the other. Shout your rage at the rising tide of Socialism and Marxism that is being pumped into the veins of this nation like the poisonous drug, heroin.

Just like heroin, socialism/Marxism addicts the citizen so that it cannot live without the "benefits" that they receive from continuously receiving regular fixes. The will for anything more than the next "fix" is sublimated and illuminated. Also like heroin, the withdrawal from socialism is painful and sickening. The drug and the political movement will both try to force the individual to give over trying to shake the habits that have become so familiar. Only through perseverance and a tolerance for self-inflicted pain will we as a nation come out to see the bright and shining city on the hill that Reagan saw.

So tomorrow, go and fire your fireworks if you must. But find your "Tea Party", find your voice and rage against the dark. Rage against the wolves that are howling at our doors to devour the Liberties that we hold so dear. We are indeed at a crossroads. Decide friends, if you are willing to dedicate your lives and your fortunes to fighting the coming soft tyranny. Soft tyrannies ALWAYS mutate into hard tyrannies. This one will be no different. Those of you who say, I will go this far and no farther might as well go home and wait, for the taxman commeth. Tell him "Yessir, here ya go sir." and hand over your money and the future wealth and libertiesof your children. You have, by stepping aside in the time of decision earned your fate and sealed that of your proginy.

The time is past for any to stand on the sidelines. The Enemy is expecting the silent majority of this nation to whine and then go back to their lives. This we can no longer afford. This is a call to arms, my friends. Those that can fight with their words, must do so. For in a very short amount of time, if we stand by our principles, the Enemy will move against us. In that moment, we must then be resolved to band together. We will not be able to stand on our own and only see to our own. Face this truth my friends. Or face the wolves alone.
