About Me

My photo
I'm a simple man, not a simpleton. The worst thing any of our leaders can do is to get those two things confused. I'm a warrior for those things I believe in. I stand up for my friends, family, God, and country. All I truly want is for the government to stay as far out of my life as I can get it. Oh and just in case you haven't guessed it; I'm conservative in my bones.

The Iraqi's Ingratitude.

Fireworks over Baghdad as Iraqis take over cities -Yahoo news

Reading this post made my blood boil. They were happy that we got rid of Saddam and his demon spawn sons. They couldn't clean up their own mess and were happy to have Americans die for them. Now that they are free from persecution, we're the bad guys and they rejoice because we left their cities?

Fine. I'll give them about 2 months until the bombings pick up and their little police force starts running for the hills. Pull our heroes out completely and let that place burn. Then when the mullahs set up sharia law and start importing and training terrorists again, we broadcast a warning to the rest of the muslim world and carpet bomb them back to Muhammed.

The previous was a rant from my evil twin. I like it but didn't write it (wink).

All Of The World's Bullies, Please Stand Up!

Is it lost on anyone that EVERY thug, wannabe thug, dictator, and fascist in a funny hat are lining up to thumb their noses at the U.S.? Name one other time in U.S. history, at least since we bacame a world player, that we've had this many people threaten us with war?

North Korea has been throwing gauntlets on the ground at such a prodigious rate that it's hard to walk around the press briefing room in Pyongyang. Ahmadinejad has had multiple litters of kitty's at Obama's weak responses to the human rights travesties that are currently being committed to keep him in power.

Hugo Chavez, Obama's favorite book source, is ramping up his military to "take on the U.S.". Really, the only one we aren't hearing from, unless I missed something in the news this morning, is the Castro boys. But really, I don't expect much from them as they are poised to see millions of U.S. dollars pouring in with the relaxation of embargoes under this administration.

I am reminded of Joe Biden's remarks last year when he said, "Mark my words," the Democratic vice presidential nominee warned at the second of his two Seattle fundraisers Sunday. "It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking. We're about to elect a brilliant 47-year-old senator president of the United States of America. Remember I said it standing here if you don't remember anything else I said. Watch, we're gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy."

The only problem the left truly has with Mr. Biden is his unfortunate habit of telling the truth. We've gotten his little prognostication in spades unfolding right now. And it isn't just one country. It's every suppressive regime in the world. And where is our government? Fiddling while Rome burns.

Barry's Plan to Bankrupt All Of Us

You know, I dearly wish my prognostications were wrong more often. The house gave new meaning to "narrow passage" today as it passed the Cap and Tax..erm...Cap and TRADE bill today. I don't understand how anyone can think to get behind something like this when Barry himself, says that it is going to skyrocket everyones utility bills.

And from all reports today, the phone lines were very nearly on fire with phone calls opposing this bill, as were the emails. Once again our government pretended that the population did not exist and overruled the public will. I've said it before and I'll say it again, we have no chance of getting our government back without throwing the weasles out bodily. We can NOT afford to wait for the next election cycle, as I believe that they will find SOME way to force this through the Senate too.

If you believe Harry Reid, the Cap and Trade bill is a non-starter in the Senate, but I stopped taking Sen. Reid's word on anything. Hang on to your wallets folks! It's all downhill from here. We all know that after the Dems finish patting themselves on the back, they are going to move right into their next frenzied push into Socialism; Universal Healthcare. At some point before the end of the year, you can also expect another liberal push on illegal alien amnesty(Obama: Immigration bill coming soon) and gun control(Blair Holt's Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009). They are gonna want to get these through the House before the mid-term election runs begin.

Random Thoughts and Events

First the good part of today. I took my children to see the sequel Transformers movie. What can I say about it? It was a fun movie with spectacular special effects and a LOT of humor. Some of it was a bit much for youth under 13, but it was truly a great watch. Especially when they portray Barry as the coward that he is by having him trying to negotiate with the Decepticons. It's hillarious. I'll buy it when it comes out on DVD.

Now the bad news. South Carolina's Governor has further illustrated why it's becoming apparent that from one coast to the other, its time to fire all leadership and start over. I will give him credit for this, he came clean without trying to lay blame on some vast conspiracy or trying to parse the meaning of the word "is". Unfortunately, I think he needs to resign as Governor. He's tainted by the fact that he abandoned his post without taking steps to protect the state in case of emergency.

Barry had his first, in my opinion, tough Q&A in a press briefing. What I have heard from him is more limp wristed remarks concerning the travesty of human rights continuing to unfold in Iran. Also, he's dialing up the pressure on Congress to pass his suicidal Healthcare reform. He has, I noticed, decided that since he can't win the debate in D.C. he's going to start running out the carnival side show using horror stories to bypass the American intellect and go straight for the unthinking heart. It's one of the oldest, and unfortunately, most successful ploys the libs use.

And lastly, it looks as if the global climate bill will pass. This is probably one of the worst ideas that has ever come before Congress, and I suspect will cause us to go further into recession/depression.

Things are looking dark for us right now and I really don't see any way to save the Civil Society as long as the power dynamic remains as it is. Good luck folk. Keep your powder dry and God bless you.

FCC Going Through The Back Door On Fairness Doctrine

Here's a little taste of what the FCC under the Usurper In Chief has planned for our friends in Talk Radio. They couldn't get the Fairness Doctrine passed because the Supreme Court has already shot down the Constitutionality of the practice. So, they decided to go in through the back door as it were.

FCC attack on talkers beginning? -WND. I would post particular parts but this report needs to be read in it's entirety

In June of 2007, Podesta's Center for American Progress released a report titled "The Structural Imbalance of Political Talk Radio," detailing the conservative viewpoint's dominance on the airwaves and proposing steps for leveling the playing field.

"Our conclusion is that the gap between conservative and progressive talk radio is the result of multiple structural problems in the U.S. regulatory system," the report reads, "particularly the complete breakdown of the public trustee concept of broadcast, the elimination of clear public interest requirements for broadcasting, and the relaxation of ownership rules including the requirement of local participation in management."

The report then demonstrates how radio stations owned locally, or operated by female and minority owners, are statistically more likely to carry liberal political talk shows.

Therefore, the report concludes, the answer to getting equal time for "progressives" lies in mandating "localism" and "diversity" without ever needing to mention the "Fairness Doctrine."

To accomplish the strategy, the report recommends legislating local and national caps on ownership of commercial radio stations and demanding radio stations regularly prove to the FCC that they are "operating on behalf of the public interest" to maintain their broadcasting license.

This was posted on WND by David Limbaugh, entitled Fearing Our Government. The germane part of the article states, "Michael J. Copps, acting FCC chairman, has denounced the lack of racial and gender diversity in the broadcast industry as 'a shameful state of affairs.' Unsurprisingly, his proposed corrective is to force the transfer of station ownership to greater numbers of minorities, who are statistically more likely to carry liberal talk shows."

In order for the government to do a transfer of ownership like this, it would need to use the power of imminent domain as well as refusal to renew existing licenses. The first would be used for immediate effect and the latter of course would be for extended use. The rationale for which is laid out in FCC ADVISORY COMMITTEE ON DIVERSITY FOR COMMUNICATIONS IN THE DIGITAL AGE -REPORT AND RECOMMENDATION OF THE SUBCOMMITTEE ON ELIGIBLE ENTITIES

My 100th Post: A Look Back.

Well, this is my 100th post here since last Sept. and I have been pondering what I would write about on this somewhat auspicious moment. I decided that I would look back at some of my earlier writings and see how we are progressing in light of what I prognosticated. So, here goes a few.

On 10/21/08 I wrote a piece called "Election draws near. or... For whom the Bell Tolls...". Here's a small excerpt from the relevant part:

I've been thinking about which American institutions will be the first to go after the 1st of the year, and I've come to some disturbing conclusions. First, the free market is toast. We've already seen what Nancy Pelosi and her ilk are want to do, socialize, socialize, socialize. Our medical system (yes the same one that Europeans and Canadians continually come here to utilize because their own socialized system is broken) will be taken over by the government. When the backlog of patients start and people start getting vociferous in their complaints to talk radio or conservative TV, then the fairness doctrine will be brought back. There goes freedom of speech.

So far, I'm dead bang on. With one exception; instead of going with the "Fairness Doctrine" they are using the FCC and imminent domain to seize radio stations and turn them over to minorities with the intention of breaking the Conservative Talk radio stations.

Next I posted this little gem on Oct 25th, 2008 titled "Political Prostitutes". With the news of ABC completely selling out to Barry, this one on media bias is very timely right now...

"Good Lord above, where does one start? How many people involved with government, or even private politics, currently have any self-esteem? I mean, how can you get down on your knees in front of anyone with a chance at power, just so you can try and make points with them. Pick a news network and I'll show you a LOT of people that have to wipe their chins every time Barry Obama says anything, no matter how inane the statement might be.

How many people will follow a "cult of personality" just because their (the politician, preacher, pope, etc., etc.) personality happens to be stronger than theirs(citizen). My God in Heaven! As a society we've become nothing but a bunch of lemmings. We make no decisions for ourselves. Instead we run to the first person that says, "Don't worry! I and my administration will provide "A" "B" "C" for you and you won't have to bother with it. (insert your socialist policy of choice for the letters). What was it that started the watering down of the American blood? What was it that weakened our spines and took self reliance away from us? Was it the "New Deal"? I honestly want to know. Have we merely become subject to a repeat of the history of all the rest of the great societies(Rome, Greece, Egypt)? Have we run the course that is defined by our human failings and are unable to go beyond without first having our freedoms and rights taken from us?"

There is soooo much I want to say on this topic but I'm pretty sure I'd be whipping a dead horse. So, moving right along...

On Dec. 1st, 2008 I posted an essay called "America the Christian Nation- The Argument" Considering Barry's words, both in Europe and then again to the Muslims, I feel that this is apropos.

"I have been told, recently, that America was not a Christian nation. Also, I was told that we, as Christians, are a minority. I decided to do more research into an area that I already had a familiarity with, our birth as a nation.
This is going to be the only post that I will openly say that there will be rules to comments that are allowed to be posted here. If you have an argument, then you MUST show proof of claims. I will not allow speculation or emotional arguments. I will provide proofs to everything that I claim as Truth.

Firstly, I should go back to the beginnings. What was the motivation for the people that originally came to America? The original colonists were made up of people that came to America for the purpose of preserving their religous beliefs. They were in opposition to the Church of England and knew that the only way for them to be able to worship and live as they believed was to leave and move to Amsterdam. Due to an inability to understand and integrate into life in the Netherlands led the Pilgrims to leave and with the help of English investors, created the first colonies in the New World. The centerpiece of the colonists government was a belief in God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. -paraphrased from en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilgrims."

Funny, I would have thought that Barry would have been better educated. Oops, someone played hooky during american History.

Aside from all of these, I have written on my dreams for America and my fears of what she'll become. I have looked into myself to find out what I can do to strengthen this nation's sovereignty and I have corresponded with some of the best people that this nation has to offer. Thank you for coming with me on this journey into history, thus far. I hope that you all will stick around as long as we are allowed to continue to keep me on my toes. "As iron sharpens iron, so does one man sharpen another."

God bless all of you and I will see you later for 101.

My Recent Letter To The Republican National Committe and to the GOPComeback.com Site.

I have been receiving regular emails from both the RNC and from the GOPcomeback.com site, asking me for support. I filled out a change of affiliation form some time back dropping my affilliation and membership to the Republican party. In my never-to-be-humble opinion, they are not "republican" any more than I am the reincarnation of Mahatma Ghandi. So, I sent them the following letter on the 8th of June, 2009. Give me your thoughts as to how well I laid it out for them.

"The reason I canceled my subscription and party affiliation is that I do not believe in the GOP any longer. You give lip service to Conservative principles but in the end, the GOP acts just like the Dems. All this tripe about a bigger tent, for instance. This isn't the way that Reagan won landslides. Tell me one time in our nations history when there was a true budget cut. Tell me one Federal department that was ever eliminated because it was unnecessary (as many are). Show me the constitutional authority for the 80,000 pages of regulations created by non-representative beaurocrats that exists in the Federal Register. Beaurocrats that are not elected and therefore not subject to the will of the people.

The GOP continues to prop up R.I.N.O.s for election/re-election and you wish for me to join that cause? Explain this to me, please. The GOP has gone the way of the Whigg party. As such, true Conservatives should be jumping ship and reorganizing into a new Conservative party. Until that happens, until there is a viable alternative, I'll not be supporting anything with the Republican brand on it.

I want to hear ideas being put forward for true cuts in federal spending. Not reductions in the rate of increase.
I want to hear real ideas for securing our borders and the immediate deportation of illegal aliens.
I want to hear real ideas about the return to Constitutionally mandated governance. Restoration of the States' sovereignty and power.
I want to hear real ideas for the abolition of the Dept. of Education. It is, among many others, unconstitutional.
I want to hear real ideas for the abolition of the IRS and an adoption of either the "Fair Tax" or a flat tax that doesn't punish the job producers.
I want to hear a real idea for phasing out the Social Security and Medicare systems. These are unsupportable in their design and will bankrupt us in the end.
I want to hear someone shame the Global Climate Change monkeys into silence for bad science designed to destroy this nations standing.
I want to hear someone in the government stand up to Mr. Obama and his socialist agenda.

If no one in the GOP is willing to stand up for these principles. Then we have nothing to discuss at all. Our Founding Fathers would take up arms in protest at the way this, the land of the free, has been subjugated by its own government. There is nothing in their writings and discussions of the time that give any foundation for the travesty that has been wrought since the Wilson administration. Get your house in order then talk to me about a GOP comeback. If our government doesn't start taking us seriously, don't be surprised if the calls for extreme action by individual states doesn't raise even louder. This cannot continue. Our nation is paying the price even now. Prove you are on the People's side in this and you will gain support."

As of this posting, I still have not recieved a word in response. For giggles I think I will be sending this to the Rep. members of the House and Senate. I"ll follow up with the returns (if any).

Islamification Of The U.S. Government Speeds Up and Other News

Napolitano adds adviser with ties to terror backers -Swears in leader of Arab group that hailed jihadists as 'heroes'. --WND

This is one of the most non-surprising moves that I've read from this administration. I mean Islamo-fascists are no longer terrorists, according to Napolitano, we Conservatives are. Excuse me I have to wipe the blood out of my eyes. It was shooting out as I read this article.

Well, there's the bad news. Now some refreshing news...

Graduating students defy ACLU demand Seniors remain standing and recite Lord's Prayer

Generally speaking, the farther I get from my teenage years the more I hate anyone in their teenage years. However, I find that I genuinely love this group of kids. It gives me hope for our future to see this kind of action in our otherwise socialist indoctrinated youth.

And here's a few other things in this clip to make your head explode. Especially NY.

Yet Another Rant

I spent the morning and afternoon, while driving my transport truck, listening to Rush, and Hannity, with a smidgeon of G. G. Liddy, and with each and every mention of the Usurper In Chief, I felt my head gain enough pressure to inflate the new tires on my SUV.

It wasn't long ago that Barry stated, unequivocally, that the U.S. wasn't a Christian nation. That's in direct contradiction to our Founders' own words and philosophies. Then today, I hear him call America a Muslim Nation. I am so angry at this point that murder would not be out of the question if I were the type to throw my life away on a warm fuzzy.

Our nation is being hijacked at a rate that even astounded the the writers in Pravda. I mean come on! If the Ruskies even lament the rate at which we are descending into Marxism, don't you think it should piss us off a little as a nation? Instead, I keep coming across more and more people that are only interested in the events within their miserable little lives. What happened to the blood of our Founders? Those great minds and hearts that fought, bled, and died for the right to govern themselves? How have we allowed ourselves to go so far from what is known to keep a people strong? Self reliance and strong moral standards.

If our Founders were brought forward in time and someone said, "This is the results of all your labors.", they would do one of two things. Either organize a rebellion, or sit down and cry themselves to death from a broken heart. No one, not the Federalists, or the Anti-Federalists wanted to have a government that has become the enemy of our nation, but that's what we have. Our President has taken unto himself the powers of a monarch, we have an 80,000 page Federal Register that lists all the prosecutable regulations that have never been voted on in Congress. That's right, each and every person in this country is under the thumb and can be prosecuted in court and sent to prison for rules that a BEAUROCRAT decided was needed. No representation and no election for them to worry about.

Our Congressional leaders are traitors and are guilty of usurping the power of the states. They have become complicit in the soft tyranny that we find ourselves in. In fact, in some cases they are the instigators of pimping off of our Freedoms and Liberty. All for the sake of power. What can we do? What are our options?

As a member of a state, we need to remind our state leadership of their rights. For instance, several of the original 13 colonies ratified the Constitution provisionally. They reserved the right to secede from the union if it became oppressive. What else could you call the current state of affairs. The other right that the states have that very few people know about is the right of Nullification. The right of a State to set aside any Federal law that it deemed to be unacceptable or unconstitutional.

These rights of the states have been ignored and we are paying the price of it. It's time we brought our nation back to it's founding principles. I hope that it can be done peacefully, but we are running out of time for peaceful means. In a very short time, our legal tender will only be useful for fire tinder. Our private industries are falling one after another to the greedy and grasping hands of the Federal government, and with it, our free choices. What car we drive, what kind of house we live in, how we heat and cool our homes, what we teach our children and even whether or not we can own the firearm of our choice, are all in danger if not under direct attack.

I'm tired. I'm tired of seeing my country and Constitution usurped and destroyed incrementally. I'm tired of Leftists trying to make us into a haven for sexual deviants and predators, Religious extremists from the middle east, and a graveyard for the patriotic ideals of our Founding. I will not continue to take it forever. My breaking point is coming.
