About Me

My photo
I'm a simple man, not a simpleton. The worst thing any of our leaders can do is to get those two things confused. I'm a warrior for those things I believe in. I stand up for my friends, family, God, and country. All I truly want is for the government to stay as far out of my life as I can get it. Oh and just in case you haven't guessed it; I'm conservative in my bones.

Path To Freedom

I've become a big fan of Dr. Keyes. So far, he's the only public individual who seems to be walking the walk WHILE talking the talk. Here's a speech he gave in Pennsilvania at their Tea Party. I keep asking myself, why the hell we didn't elect him.

Yes GW:
Alan Keyes is a righteous man. I don't agree with everything he says, but frankly, he is likely the few politicians in my life time that has integrity. I believe that Dennis Kucinich, Ron Paul and Rep. Barbara Lee from California all have integrity but I cannot think of anyone else. Despite their differing political agendas, all of these folks have stuck to what they've said and DONE it like they said they would. Alan Keyes doesn't have scandalous behavior in his past or present to my knowledge and he truly believes in what he says and does. Yes he is righteous.

We didn't elect him because if he was in office a lot of this crap would not be going on AT ALL.

BTW: Right wing extremists? I have really been getting annoyed at people who are patriots being characterized in this way.

I recently wrote that Montana looked appealing to me on my Facebook page and you should have seen the comments I got, the least of which was "But they have a lot of anti government militia groups out there". And my response was "Yes, they have a lot of militia groups in Montana but that is not a deterrent, rather an incentive..."

Don't care if folks think you are a fringe loon, when shit comes to shit you will be ALIVE. (Pardon the language!)

Disa, thanks as always for coming by. I heard recently that california, who is the most severly taxed state in the union, has given it's citizens the biggest state tax hike in history.

You should check out Texas. Low tax rates and NO state income or corperate taxes.

Oklahoma is shaping up too. We have, for the first time in our state's history, a republican controlled senate and house. They have passed the 10th amendment resolution through both and are proposing a tax refund to the people equal to what the feds are cramming down the state's throat. 3.5 billion dollars right back to the tax payer. There are 3.5 million people in Oklahoma so the math comes out pretty good.

Move Mahndisa. Get out while the getting is good. That place is going to get unfriendly to concervatives in the very near future.

Yes GW:
I must admit I feel the wrath coming down on me and those of like mind. But here's the thing, I belong in this state. Imagine what it would be like WITHOUT people like me?!!! hehehehe Seriously though, the state is beautiful and the only other places I'd consider moving to are Montana, Washington or perhaps Wyoming or Minnesota. I can handle the west coast weather and some of the midwest, but I cannot handle Texas at all. I like the people and some scenery is nice but the hot mixed with the humid gets to my health in a very bad way.

Best air in the union is Utah! Anyway, I look at Oklahoma a lot because of legal research I've been conducting and you guys are well on your way to being a seriously badass state. The rulings when it comes to consumer and debtor rights are very very fair. you can tell a lot about a place by how its judges rule. Speaking of tax rates in California, Lord don't I know it.

BUT even WE passed a tenth Amendment type bill not too long ago. So things aren't all that bad here...

I am so bothered by the characterization of people that critique the President as right wing extremists. Everybody is Timothy McVeigh when they aren't baby killing liberals. This bothers me a great deal.

Keep on writing your thoughts. You aren't the only one who feels this way. Did you go to a Tea party today or have you in the past? With my little guy it is difficult to get around to such events so I support causes by writing to Congressmen and the like. But what I wouldn't give to go to a Tea Party! Check out Dee Vantuyls site later on today or tomorrow for her tidbits of how the KC Tea Party went.

OK am rambling. I hope you and your family are well and pray for y'all.

Alan Keyes is one of my heroes.

I agree with him that we should throw them all out of office and elect some new blood.

My representative, Connie Mack is a good man, but he has to go, not because he has voted wrongly so often, but because he says things like, "I'm concerned that they..." instead of "WHAT ON EARTH IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE THAT'S..."

In other words, he does not take strong stands against the stupidity of the Congress and the Senate.
